When fate reunites her with her childhood friends, will she finally find happiness? Now she helps her father run an inn for visiting members from other packs and otherwise keeps to herself. When visiting pack members come to Tallulah’s house, she’s charmed by the puppies that she takes into her care. But when dangerous werewolves attack her home, Tallulah is injured in her efforts to protect the pups. Sent to recover at the Alpha’s House, Tallulah is once more reunited with her childhood friends. While Theo still frustrates her, why does she feel weird tingles whenever they’re together? And what about the twins, Kenji and Quimby. Forced to be near them, new feelings develop and a secret from their shared past will be revealed. Can Tallulah forgive the guys for their choices? Will this finally be her chance to find happiness? Or will dark forces tear them apart once more? Because while Tallulah is half werewolf, her human side makes her vulnerable to those who would like to see her dead.

I cannot exactly say it was a bad book, it wasn't. For the most part, I liked the characters and enjoyed watching where the plot was going. The problem is that it all wasn't presented in the right way. Like, take Tallulah for example. Her whole life she had been lied to by people closest to her and kept at a safe distance from everyone. And the last couple of month her only friends behaved as though they couldn't bear to be in the same room with her. And the last couple of month her only friends behaved as though they couldn't bear to be in the same room with her. Granted, it has been done for her own protection, but no one told her that. And all that lying has resulted in Tallulah developing a heavy number of complexes and an incredibly low self esteem. So you would think, when the truth finally comes to light, she would react negatively, right? But no, Tallulah just rolled with it and accepted everything they told her. That's not a believable reaction at all. I wanted her to rage and scream and show them hell! It might not have been a rational reaction, but at least it would have been real. And then everyone just acted like nothing happened. They all fell back into their "natural" dynamic with each other, while I was left reelign from the sudden shift in everyone's attitude. The whole thing was like a whirlwind. Also, I wasn't comfortable with the way the story was structured. The scenes would cut off so abruptly, with no rime or reasons, that I couldn't help but feel extremely confused. The same thing happened with the ending. The story just...stoped in a middle of a conversation, and I was like "that's it? That's your logical conclusion?". Overall, the book was okey as a whole, but it lacked that something special that makes you interested in reading and following the story. I probably would read the second book if it catches my eye, but I won't be looking forward to it with a giddy anticipation, that's for sure.

An enjoyable read. It is Reverse Harem and is 18+ once it gets there. Though it does come across quite YAish at first and reading Tallulah she comes across as younger than she actually is, a mature teenager but a younger teenager nevertheless. Book: Tallulah Falls: Field of Blood Book 1 Author: ZL Morris I was excited to read this book based on the synopsis given. Her childhood friends leaving her behind and when they do see each other they act like assholes too her. Tallulah feels that she will not be destined with a mate due to her being half human and not being able to shift. She feels being half-human/wolf and not being able to shift makes her less than in the eyes of the pack. Unbeknownst to her, she is actual the mate of the Alpha’s son and his two brothers. They sequester her from the pack to save her life because a rival pack was set on finding the future Luna and killing her to weaken the pack. NO ONE told her this. They let her believe that she was unwanted. Tallulah finds out that Theo, Kenji and Quimby are her mates when she gets attacked at home and is injured. She finds that not only does she has a mate (and that they knew the whole time that she was their mate) but she has three of them and one of them is the future Alpha which makes her the future Luna. You hear about the rival pack and that a war might be coming. Then really nothing else in the book by the end of it. Vampires are mentioned in there as well. I had some issues with the book: First: The book is about werewolves, so supernatural. Yet, nothing supernatural about the werewolves. When I read a book that has werewolves and destined mates there is usually special features that the destine mates have which makes they mates…. Yet in this book , there is no being able to speak to each other in the mind, not being able to feel each other, Nothing like that. They knew they were mates only because they each had the same mark. I really did not like that part. If wolves are soulmates there should be something magical about them. Second: The sex scene……..Really disappointed in that. I was confused by it. She has three mates and when it finally got to the good stuff the scenes just ends????? And last: Her mates treated her like a leaper and where assholes too her for YEARS…yet she does not get mad at them about that? I would of given them hell first. She had not clue yet they knew for years and treated her like crap…even if it hurt them to be away from her. Overall, It was an easy read I just think a few aspects of it could have been done differently and turned this into an amazing book.

Tallulah is a half-mutt. She was part of the Argent Pack until she was five when she and her father were sent to live on the edge of pack grounds. When dangerous werewolves attack her home, Tallulah is injured in her efforts to protect visiting pups. Sent to recover at the Alpha’s House, Tallulah is reunited with his sons, her childhood friends. Being near them is painful for Tallulah. It's obvious that they can't stand to be around her but she still misses them. Actually, she has crushes on them. Everything is not what it appears, however. Times spent together breaks down walls. Emotions are bared. Secrets are revealed. Can Tallulah forgive everyone for keeping her in the dark all of these years, especially the boys? Will she find her happiness after all or will she lose everything, including her life? Tallulah Falls is wonderful. Tallulah is an excellent lead female. She's kind, brave, caring, clever. Her self-worth has been damaged by pack secrets. Feeling that she was unwanted, a lesser being to the full-werewolves has made her question who she is and if she matters. It's heartbreaking. I feel like my emotions went through the wringer with this girl. I was enchanted with her and the pups, swooning with her and the guys, outraged by the challenges, fearful of the danger, amused with her inner thoughts, and proud of her leadership. I am firmly Team Tallulah! It took me a second to warm up to the guys. I understand secrets, but still. Theo and the twins, Kenji, and Quimby are handsome, strong, loving. Good future leaders, good future mates; I am convinced. The story was strong; action-filled with a nice balance of romance. This is a well-written book that kept my attention from the first paragraph. I look forward to more.

I liked the idea of this paranormal reverse harem story - as the blurb states the heroine Tallulah lives on the outskirts of her pack and her childhood friends have avoided her. The reason why they have avoided her and the way she feels as a result of the sequestration and loss of her friends is a great idea/concept however I would have enjoyed the story much more if this section of the story would have been extended. I see a great missed opportunity in both showing how close the four of them were prior to the separation and in the potential of having an angst-filled period of interactions before she finds out the reason for it. As it is, it seemed like there were some inconsistencies in the timeline of events, the events themselves, and the impact they had to her and her feelings. (It's hard to get what I mean across without having spoilers, but I'm trying, sorry!) In the end, there was just too much telling rather than showing/building, and I never connected with any of the characters or the romantic relationships because of it. I really felt like the potential was there for a truly great series, but without that foundation I am just not excited to read the next book.

Tallulah Falls is a cute, if a bit cliché/predictable, paranormal RH story complete with the typical MC who's supposed to be pretty kick-ass but unaware of her appeal. She's this self-doubting girl with no self esteem one minute and the next she's the Luna the pack needs? Her guys majorly lied to her and caused her years of emotional pain and there's no real reaction to the big reveal. Also, the guys went to SO much effort to keep this secret and then gave it up with no real build up? It all just seemed a bit lack-luster on the emotional front with all the energy poured into a plot that didn't fully take shape (but will presumably see more development in later sequels).

This may contain some spoilers..................... Tallulah had a happy life with her three best friends, the alpha's sons. And then she was suddenly sent away to live as an outcast and was treated like she didn't belong by everyone. But it turns out she was their mate so they did all of that for her protection...so it's ok. Except that's actually not ok. And then she just forgives them like it was nothing, so I already couldn't stand this. And then the boys' mom and dads would not stop remarking on how hot she is....super creepy! And then they kinda make a big deal about her human side...meanwhile, she has never lived as a human, doesn't know any humans and probably knows less about human customs than they do...so why exactly was this even a thing? Basically I did not like this...at all.

The story line was pretty good. However, the character development was lacking quite a bit. Even the MC was hard to fall in love with due to a lack of substance. We find out her mom dies...but never find out how or how it affected her. She is mad at the guys but other than saying she was upset and hurt a few times it really just blows over. I liked this book in the beginning, I really did. I was thinking that the story line was a bit different the most RH/shifter books that I have read, but slowly became frustrated because I kept thinking I missed something. The back story of the guys (maybe) should have been explained, by their point of view, as Tallulah reminisced about their childhood. The end of a couple of chapters (I'm trying not to spoil) were anti-climatic. I enjoyed the characters, the humorous dynamics between the cast an I liked this book in the beginning, I really did. This was a cute little story. There was a little bit of action but mostly this story felt like it gave insight to the characters and build up to a conflict in the future. The relationship seemed sweet and though I prefer more build up in my relationships it was still a cute read. It will be interesting to see how the characters handle their new roles as well as the impending conflict as the story continues.

It's a shifter story. There was room for possibilities but, unfortunately, they were missed in this story, like with the MC working through the hurt from her mates avoiding her. It was predictable, like with the "mean girl" female shifter. I have other names for that type of character but this is the nicest. That whole scene with the mean female shifter didn't make sense to me and was over the top. Other than that, if you like a typical shifter story, you'll probably like this one. It's a shifter story. I really enjoyed this book. My only issue is I would have liked to see more play between Tally and her three mates before it is revealed they are mates and more back story on their relationship. Even thought it is said that their relationship had been developed over many years, it feels a little too much like insta-love. But other than that the main characters are likeable and fun, the writing is well done, and the plot will keep you interested. Looking forward to more!

AH MAZ ING I loved this book. It was so exhilarating and kept me on my toes throughout the whole story. The plot and story itself was amazing. This is the first book by the author that I have read and I can't wait to see what else she writes. The characters are easy to fall in love with and are so very detailed I definitely recommend this book to anyone who seeks not only a good adventure but also a cunning, witty, smart mouthed woman with three incredible guys to herself. I absolutely LOVED book 1 of this series. I am always a sucker for anything with sexy shifters in it. This book seems like it takes paranormal things were used to but puts a new unique twist on it which kept me interested. I got completely sucked into the story. I could relate with the characters and envision all the tension. I am super excited to see where this story goes.

An enjoyable read about wolf shifters, second chances, and accepting yourself. As a half shifter half human Tally doesn't think she will ever have a mate, much less 3. After being sent away from her pack at the age of 5 for her protection, she returns years later and is trying to get over her insecurities where her mates are concerned. Decent This book needed some help it was as if it were writen by a first time writer with little experience. The book also seemed rushed and could have used some more details and background work. It was a cute story but i don't think i will but the next book. It also had some abvious grammatical errors that could have been fixed by having somone else read it before it was sold. New author? It wasn't a horrible story but very stilted. I'm guessing a new author because it didn't seem that the story was well thought through. Some areas are great and fleshed out. Then, some of the story is just hodgepodge with an ending slapped on. I think a few stories from now they will be great and should keep writing. New author?
