I enjoyed this one. I have practised yoga for many years although I am certainly not an expert. I tend to follow Sivananda and restorative yoga both are mentioned in this book. I felt this book gave a good basic on yoga and meditation. As well as covering the physical and mental health benefits of the practice it has little exercises throughout to get you thinking. If you know a lot about yoga you would maybe want to use the book to dip in and out of using the exercises to support your practise I enjoyed this one. If you know a lot about yoga you would maybe want to use the book to dip in and out of using the exercises to support your practise or support your practice with people with dementia. I wasn’t keen on the guided exercise that is mentioned as being good for advanced dementia and felt a different guided exercise would have been better but that would be my only criticism.
