Okay, Waid took us back in time to take us forward, but this storyline is a little too “Days of Future Past” for my liking.

Once again , Cap is frozen in ice , and wakes up in a world not his own . This time , it is a future where tyrants have made life into a ceaseless struggle .

Interesting premise, fun Cap story, not much weight to it though.

Seems like another alternate dimension, now america was in post apocalypse, the republic was destroyed

This is the first Captain America issue I read since the Legacy started, even though he is in the future for right now, it is my Cap back and fighting, loved it.

I was pretty skeptical when I heard this was where this Cap run was going. I didn’t hate this, which surprised me a little. However, I’m holding off on any more judgement / rating until we are a few issues into this story because there wasn’t a whole to work with here. I do think I’m going to really like Liang & her dynamic with Cap. I am also just super amused that Steve Rogers could write the Bill of Rights from memory if he needed too.
