This is one of those books that will keep readers up all night! As I read the first chapter, I was thinking that I wouldn't finish this book, but I soon changed my mind. The story is horrifying, yet believable. I received my copy free through goodreads, and I certainly hope there is a sequel, since this ended with a cliffhanger. I won 'Unraveled' through the Goodreads Giveaways and this was an explosive read. New mother Brenda, instantly bonds with one of her new twins, but she fails to even acknowledge the other. New dad Tom, picks up the slack and just accepts that Brenda is in a state of shock. This is a read I couldn't put down and you won't be able to either. Five stars.

The story was pretty good overall, and the relationships endearing. The story reminds me a lot of the Nancy Drew novels ( I read a few recently for nostalgia) where the writing is clear and straight forward. Characters seem willing to listen to one another and frequently are pretty clear headed. Despite it being a little repetitive, the story was good and an overall quick read. Nice way to spend a few hours. I had some problems with the main character Joanne, who's description is all over the place, there is a point where she's described as gray-haired but irresistibly curvy, but then a few pages later said to be the older sister of Adam, who is a world war 2 vet who was in his 90s. I felt like her character didn't make any sense. However her personality and compassion made her a very easy to like in spite of this. I won this book in a goodreads giveaway a few months ago.
