I felt like this book lacked drama. But that was the beauty of it. The anguish, captivity, conflict, strategy and terrorism of war happen in the preface. The battle is over. I got that painted picture of pure chaos and escalation of conflict. Finally, causing complete combustion and causing pure heartbreak and destruction. Then time passes. The sun shines again. Slowly everything replenishes and flourishes and heals. You tell yourself outloud that it is over. The recovery if you will. The book opens with a risky helicopter rescue and slowly takes an exhale. Which is perfect! Exactly how I would imagine it feeling after arriving back in your homeland after deployment. The book depicts the feeling of human healing and adjusting after trauma. Which encompasses a return home full of friendship, love, reminiscing and connection. I found this book refreshing in the fact it included a piece of history, War on Iraqi Freedom.

I really enjoy reading Ms. Ferguson’s stories and love every single visit to Crystal Rock/ Dragonfly Point. Every story has interconnected details, characters, and/or backstory, and I love that aspect about her books. Each one unravels a little bit more about the much bigger picture that is being woven in the background. This story was emotional, romantic, steamy, suspenseful, heart-warming, and fun! Ms. Ferguson always hooks me from the very beginning of her stories, and this one was no different! Sarah Benton was severely injured when an explosion ripped through the supply truck he had been travelling in while deployed in Iraq. She was captured, tortured and abused in the hands of the enemy, before being rescued and air lifted out. She has very little memory of her time from the explosion to being airlifted out, but she does remember who saved her and how caring and comforting he had been. She has spent a lot of time recovering from her injuries and is finally fit enough to embark on the next stage of her life. She has arrived in Crystal Rock to take on the job as administrator for a newly commissioned Wounded Warrior facility. Brand Reardon had been her Captain over in Iraq and had been the one to find her and get her safely out. He has never forgotten her and has often wondered how she was doing. So, he is surprised when he is assigned as a liaison to a new Wounded Warrior facility where she is working. But, there is more to him being sent there- he is also tasked with keeping her safe as she could be a potential target in a terror campaign. As his investigation begins, they begin to spend a lot of time working together and become quite close. He is very protective of her and is determined to keep her safe. Is Sarah really in danger? If so, who is targeting her and why? Will Brand be able to keep her safe? I applaud the fact that while Ms. Ferguson does touch on some sensitive issues, she does so in compassionate and respectful way, whilst highlighting the hardships faced by wounded warriors and veterans. The obstacles that they face not only to recovery from any injury, but also in having to carry the memories of their experiences as well. There’s physical therapy in a lot of cases, adjusting to a disability, as well as psychological counselling, being treated differently, and then trying to get awarded disability payments. This series of stories bring a lot of these issues into focus, as Ms. Ferguson gives us a glimpse into the toll that war has on a soldier and the sacrifices they make for their country, and a little of what they endure when things go awry while in service. Touching on what the recovery process of a wounded warrior may entail, and the toll that has not only on them, but also their family and friends. The story was also quite romantic, and I loved the connection between Sarah and Brand. Ms. Ferguson crafts wonderful characters- giving them strengths, but also not shying away from giving them some vulnerability. I adored Abby and Baby too. Ms. Ferguson’s story is so well written, realistic, believable, very emotive and entirely captivating. Thank you, Ms. Ferguson!

I read this book as a stand alone but I would have gotten a better understanding of the other characters if I read the other books first. I could not put this book down. These characters drew me in on the very first page. It only took me a little over a day to devour this incredible love story. Sarah Benton was captured along with the other members of her team. She was severely injured from the torture that she endured. When she thought all hope was lost she was rescued by The Captain Reardon. Sarah felt safe with him but she already had a man waiting for her at home. Two years later she was honorably discharged due to her wounds. Sarah is then offered a job to help with a new program that will help out injured soldiers. She is so excited to help her country in a way that she can. Sarah is shocked when she sees that Captain Brand Reardon will be working with her. She is now even more attracted to him then two years ago. Sarah can’t help feel a strong pull towards him. She starts to have dreams about her capture. Sarah then starts to remember some things that could help or put her into danger. Will Sarah’s heart heal to find true love or will she suffer alone? I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, hope, and life obstacles. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Sarah is a beautiful and strong woman. She is hero in my eyes from what she had to face. Sarah is a character that I will never forget. Brand is also a hero. He is beautiful but he also has a heart of gold. Brand would do anything to make Sarah happy. The way he treats her will make your heart melt. These two characters have beautiful chemistry together. You can feel the love for one another as you are reading. I loved how this talented author handled some very tough subjects. She wrote them in a beautiful and respectful manner. I am so glad that she wrote this book in both characters points of views. This gave me a more personal connection to these amazing characters. I will now be starting this series from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will write next.

The hit on his team 2 years ago wasn't the first attempt. He needs to be there to make sure they are safe. After working closely with Sarah, he started to develop feelings, but nothing could be done about it - she was engaged. Now she's not and now is his chance to make her part of his life. Only he's on limited time, his position is only temporary. Will Sarah and Brand be safe? Will they be together? Will the magic of Dragonfly Pointe strike again? After everything that Sarah has endured, will she be able to let Brand in? I absolutely loved this series. I love the writing style of Tamara Ferguson, it flows from start to finish. If you haven't yet read any of this series, why not start now. Although each part can be read as a standalone, characters from previous parts do pop up so if you'd like to know how each character came to be in Crystal Rock, I highly recommend reading from the start.

Two Hearts Unbroken (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 6) by Tamara Ferguson is the sixth book in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. I love this author's books as they are easy flowing and engaging. She has the ability to pull me in right from the first word. Her characters take me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I don't want to end. They also took me on a couple of twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Her characters are heartfelt and will pull at your heartstrings. In this installment of this series you have Sarah and Brand. Sarah was serving time over in Iraq when she was severely torture and assaulted. Now that she is back home, could her life be in danger? Her Commander Brand has been sent to watch over her, to keep her safe. She is not able to remember anything that happened to her but they are sure she seen something but what. When Sarah's finance can't take her injuries, he leaves her. This is when Brand decides that he is going to make Sarah his, something he has always wanted. The problem is that is Sarah is not in any danger, he will be moving on. Is it possible that Brand will be able to save Sarah's heart before he moves on? I really feel compassion for these two characters. Sarah has been through so much and had to deal with a nasty finance that I think it made her stronger. She is really just trying to put life back together but will Brand be able to help her with that? He really does want to be with her and protect her. They are so good together and I think that they can help each other given a chance. They are both real characters that I could see myself being around or knowing. They really are just so heartfelt and will warm your soul. The secondary characters are just as warm and engaging for the most part. I didn't care for the finance because he was not willing to see past Sarah's injuries. This story truly is about fighting for life after they come back from serving their country. I highly recommend this book. I know you will want to see what happens in this installment of this series.

Beautiful world building, clean solid plot, well rounded complex main characters, steady flow, perfect tone shifts and of course a realistic growing romance, that didn't feel rushed, extra, or unnatural. The only thing that bother me was the position of the our male love interest. I'm in the military, so this opinion is coming from a bias place. I didn't like that he was her CO. If he was in her rank level, or closer, then I wouldn't have mine it. But CO, it doesn't sit right with me. And, there were a few things that I picked up on that told me that, movies and TV shows have created their own stereotypes. I did love how Sarah was written, her struggles and dealing with what she went through. That made her all the more real and it just ripped apart your heart strings. This book does a good job at that. I don't know if I can read any more of these books if they're all going to try and rip my heart out, and drop a cinder block on it. Overall, I very much enjoyed that heart stopping read. It's that perfect mix of sweet, tragic and heroic. I'm going to be looking into the other books in this series, but I'll need some time to pick my feels off the floor first. Happy Reading. -E.A. Following the story of Sarah who was subjected to unspeakable acts when she is captured and tortured during a military tour of duty. Sarah's mind has done everything it can to protect her, blocking out most of what happened so that once the physical heals she is able to remain active duty just with a different purpose. Brand had been the one to rescue her during her darkest time, so when he comes back into her life now she knows that something must be going on, but how can she help when she doesn't remember everything that happened. These two will have to work together to not only find out the people who want Sarah now and to help her recover the memories of her capture. Ferguson is an author that I have read several of her books, loving each one for how unique they are and how she is able to pull you in from page one and keep you reading until the very end. The characters in this book were both damaged goods, but that is what made them so great to get to know. I am sad to see that this series is ending but I can't wait to see what else Ferguson brings to the table for her readers. If you are looking for a fantastic books with great characters and an even better storyline than this is one I highly recommend.

I just finished reading Two Hearts Unbroken (book 6 in The Two Hearts Wounded Warriors series), by Tamara Ferguson. I love military romance and this one takes the cake! Usually we see strong military men in the spotlight and although Brand is certainly that, I find it’s Sarah’s story that has my full attention. Thinking she can’t survive much longer, she is rescued by Captain Brand Reardon and transported to safety. Now the real work begins for Sarah. She is going back home but she will need extensive therapy - both physical and psychological. Two years later and she takes a job in Crystal Rock, an administrative one where she won’t be getting shot at. Brand shows up in Crystal Rock, as he was sent there to be a program liaison. At least, that’s what his official business is - Sarah’s life might still be in danger and he will be there to protect her if need be. This book was awesome - it had it all for me, not that I’m surprised. Tamara Ferguson is an amazing writer, one of my favorites actually. Her characters always come to life for me, their surrounding become my surroundings and I feel like I just read a close friends diary or I just witnessed this all. The Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series is my ultimate favorite! Writing a book about a sensitive subject that concerns so many people in the world, Tamara Ferguson does it just beautifully and tastefully and I can certainly feel the respect she must have for soldiers in general. Start this series today! Or if you already have, well.. I’m sure you don’t need to read the reviews to know you want to keep reading about the Wounded Warriors! 5 stars from me!.

Sarah has always been a tough girl and was picked on as a kid and was given a lot of grief while serving but that toughness may have saved her in Iraq. She is a strong woman who doesn't allow her scars to destroy her and Brand doesn't see any of those scars when he looks at her and decides now is the time. There is lots of romance and suspense in this book like the others and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Tamara does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. I look forward to reading more from this series. If your looking for a great military romance, 1-click and get started today.

At this point I will read anything Tamara Ferguson writes. I loved Two Hearts Unbroken. Sarah has been through a lot of crappiness in her life, and she deserves her happy ever after. Everyone seems to find it in Crystal Rock, along with a decent dose of suspense. That is quite a crazy place, the more I hear of it! Brand finally gets his chance with her and isn’t wasting a single second. He’s all in from the moment they reconnect and I love it. They don’t have to be read in order, but bits and pieces of other books are mentioned.

I am a sucker for stories about warriors from the army, seals and any other form of special forces. It's something about them. It's about raw pain, horrors of the war, regrets, emotions and always loads of love and hope. This series has been on my radar for quite some time and I’m glad I decided to give it a try! Two Hearts Unbroken is the 6th book in the series, but easily reads as a standalone. Two years later, she’s on the road to recovery and takes a position as an administrator in a new wounded warrior progra This series has been on my radar for quite some time and I’m glad I decided to give it a try! As the danger mounts, these two overcome all obstacles in their path to a happily-ever-after. There were some great twists I never saw coming that kept this an exciting read to the finish! I give Two Hearts Unbroken 5 lovely kisses- An enjoyable read! First posted on It's All About the Romance

Two Hearts Unbroken by Tamara Ferguson Stars:5 There is so much that I enjoyed about this book! It was an easy and interesting read that kept me completely engaged in the storyline. Brand and Sarah were great characters to read about. Both are incredibly strong. They are even more so together. They had great chemistry with each other, and I couldn’t help but to root for them. I loved reading how their relationship evolved through the book. I definitely recommend this story and hope you enjoy it as Two Hearts Unbroken by Tamara Ferguson Stars:5 There is so much that I enjoyed about this book! Two Hearts Unbroken by Tamara Ferguson is the 6th book in her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series and what an amazing series it is! You can read it as a standalone but please, do read all the previous stories before tackling this one … you will get so much more out of the story as you will learn all about the Crystal Rock and some of the other characters that the main characters Brand and Sarah meet. So, Two Hearts Unbroken is the story of former Airman Sarah Benton and Captain Brand Reardon who is at the time when the main story unfolds, AFOSI agent. These two will take us on an emotional and heart-breaking journey – prior Sarah’s honourable discharge from the Air Force, she was serving in Iraq where she was tortured and assaulted and severely injured when her team was targeted during transport run. There was only one more survivor apart from her … (and he will get his own story that I cannot wait for!). Sarah was saved from certain death by Rand and his men. Two years later they are pushed together again when Rand is sent to Crystal Rock to watch over Sarah as…the attack was NOT random and she is … in danger…oh my…you need to pick up a copy to find out what route their journey takes and what to expect from the next book! I absolutely love Tamara’s writing … I have been reading her other stories and I have to tell … it gets better with every single book I finish! I warmly recommend reading all of her books!

I read this book as a standalone but now I'm anxious to go back and read the other 5! Sarah is captured during a military tour and is subject to unspeakable torture. Things like this happen far more often that we realize, it really hits home. After she returns home and heals mentally and physically from the ordeals her mind protects itself and blacks out most of what she went through. She goes on to work for a new program retraining active duty members post injury. She was rescued by Brand, whom I love, and his team. Such an incredible character. He comes to watch over her years later as she may or may not have seen things during her torture that could put her in danger. How is she supposed to know when her mind protects itself? Her fiance left her because it's not easy to have an injured life partner. It's not an easy life to live and he couldn't handle it. Coward. Disgusting in my opinion. Brand obviously agrees with me as he tries to swoop in and save the girl's heart before it's too late and time runs out. Fantastically written. The character's journeys are well arched and the ebb and flow of the writing is great. Will definitely be reading more from this author!

I love this series and loved this latest installment. It is so well written and can stand on its own if you haven’t read the rest of the series (although doing so richly adds to the plot and character development). Sarah and Brand are two more characters from this author that you will immediately be drawn to. I was invested on page one and only was disappointed when the book finished. Loved it!

This is a wounded warrior story starring a woman . I'm so glad that a woman is being depicted because female soldiers aren't written about enough. Third book by Tamara I've purchased. DNF @24%. When an Air Force captain is written to say, "You look, like, WoW." in a book? It's hit rock bottom. I can't even. The characters were trite, the description severely lacking, the storyline vague, and the problems I had with the other two books have NOT been corrected. Suzanne Brockmann. If you want to read this only done well? Read Brockmann's old stuff. (Not the new stuff - she's fallen off the boat). But this? No. Just NO. Third book by Tamara I've purchased. DNF @24%. I love Wounded Warrior Romance books and ever since I one clicked a Tamara Ferguson book I have been enamoured with her writing and the storys she tells about our brave heros who have come home from war and are coming to terms with the destruction they have seen while active duty and the destruction they have endured. Now coming to terms with their new civilian lives, the brave heroes are trying to help their other Wounded Warrior brothers and sisters. This story finds Brand and Sarah reuniting after 2 years. The lengths that Brand goes to to protect and keep Sarah safe are unending. Sarah has her demons from her past that she deals with daily, but for some reason she feels no fear when Brand is with her. Can they make things in the past disappear and find a future together? This book is wonderful. As well as learning about Brand and Sarah, some of our favorite characters from past stories come back to visit briefly. All of the Wounded Warrior books by Tamara Ferguson can be read as stand alones, or you can read them in order, they are listed at the beginning of each of her books. I can't wait to see who we meet in the next one. Thank you Tamara for this fabulous addition. Kelli Harper
