Jon Firth is on the run. And right now? Being an omega is nothing but a liability. His scent makes him easy to track, the cops seem all too willing to believe his douchebag alpha ex over him, and his impending heat means his attempt at escape is about to get a lot more difficult. And that’s before the staggeringly handsome bounty hunter puts his hands on Jon’s too-willing Jon Firth is on the run. And right now? Being an omega is nothing but a liability. His scent makes him easy to track, the cops seem all too willing to believe his douchebag alpha ex over him, and his impending heat means his attempt at escape is about to get a lot more difficult. And that’s before the staggeringly handsome bounty hunter puts his hands on Jon’s too-willing body and turns his whole life upside down. Griff King loves the hunt. Working fugitive recovery helps him exercise his alpha aggression while protecting the public, and the thrill is better than sky-diving. So when a bench warrant comes through for Jon Firth, Griff hops in his Jeep and begins the chase. What he finds, though, isn’t the simple recovery he imagined. Instead there’s a gorgeous little omega who needs his protection. One who tastes like everything Griff has ever wanted. But Jon’s ex won’t let him go so easily, and Griff will learn what he’s willing to do to protect his mate and the new life that means everything to him. The Omega’s Bounty is a non-shifter MPREG romance novella with a guaranteed Happily Ever After and no cliffhanger. It is the first in The Kings’ Justice series, about the King brothers and the omegas they love, but can be read as a standalone.

Could have been better The book was good. It was interesting and a page turner but, the author went with the predictable route and the omega ran away when the alpha was keeping stuff from him about the guy that was trying to kill the omega. You know typical alpha tendencies, trying to keep their omegas safe. And of corse when the omega compares his new alpha to his abusive ex he runs. Predictably. Unoriginally. Disappointing.

2.5 stars A sexy little novella, providing all the expected kinks of an mpreg alpha-omega story: possessiveness, knotting, protection, an exciting rescue. The characters were all strong and likeable. The conflict was well paced. If you're only expecting a quick but emotionally satisfying kinky thrill, this is your story. 2.5 stars A sexy little novella, providing all the expected kinks of an mpreg alpha-omega story: possessiveness, knotting, protection, an exciting rescue. A sweet sexy quick read I very much enjoyed this sweet sexy read. It’s a quick read and so there could have been a teeny bit more character development. I would have liked to know a bit more about Jon’s family, but otherwise the writing, pacing, emotional and sexual tension were all on point. Many omegaverse novels forget plot structure, so it was wonderful to get a full rising action to a Black moment and a satisfying resolution. Jon was TSTL - clueless on how to run from the law, clueless that he was pregnant, over reacting when Griff was protecting him. Jon and Griff’s instant mate attraction was sizzling and the knotting sex was hot. Unfortunately the relationship development was non existent.

Good read I enjoyed the book. There was enough tension with the bad guy to keep me into it. The angst between Jon and Griff wasn't too much. Overall it was a good read. Enjoyed this one. Solid writing, story was propelled along nicely, and I enjoyed both MC's. I really liked the large King Family - and this one sets up the other brothers quite well! Nice story Rather standard plot but engaging characters. Not a bad start to a series. Like to see more action and story suspense the next time.
