Wade was killed in the fire and Chief Meyers and Detective Carver decide Kerri might be the individual responsible for Wade’s death and the fire. Kerri and her Grandfather do a little sleuthing to clear Kerri of wrongdoing, unearth deeply hidden secrets, things start to happen, and it gets a little too close to home! A resident squirrel adds a touch of humor and intrigue to the mystery. You'll enjoy Kerri and her Grandfathers exploits. A fast-passed enjoyable cozy mystery. This is Book three in a series, but the first book that I have read. I enjoyed it tremendously. Kerri runs a nut shop and her grandfather is a former spy. Put these two people together and they can solve anything. When something happens to the guy who owns the store next to hers, the antagonist does not stand a chance.

Grandfather as always is persuing his own investigation, only this time he has found his match in detective Carver, new female detective on the force. Great plot, good old lovable characters and many twists and turns make this a fabulous read in what I hope to be a long running mystery series.

Very good This was a great murder mystery. I like the main characters. It's nice to follow their lives. I thought it might be the nephew towards the end although I had some duo t-shirt about the fireman. Thanks again. Stay well and please continue writing g. Very good This was a great murder mystery. Loved it! Great cozy mystery. I was really worried at the end for the main character - good suspense scenes and a satisfying ending. I can't wait to read more books in this series - the family history of real spying gives it an interesting new twist. Loved it! Great cozy mystery.
