It’s been a crazy year and I’ve needed more guilty pleasures to read. Nothing that’ll add to my stress. These fit that bill perfectly! Will be reading more of this series!

I am so glad I started reading these books after they were all released. I would have been irritated if I was reading them while they were still being written and published. Mainly because they are not broken up like normal books. They cut off with no ending. As a reader, I feel like I am getting shorted if I purchase a book and just as the action picks up it just ends. The fact that they are all available on KU and I can chain read them is the only reason that I have continued the series. Instead of a bunch of little 100 page books with no endings, they could have been combined to make one cohesive book. This is really a pet peeve of mine. I have a tendency to not read authors that pull this cutting books apart where the action starts crap. I will be very cautious of reading any books by this author unless the entire series is complete and available on KU. I certainly won't waste money on partial books.

I'm already in book three but I'm still perplexed about everything, especially over Elizabeth. I haven't stopped furrowing my forehead since I started reading this series, except for the occasional funny moments, that I think there're already permanent lines between my brows. It's hard to grasp her goals and priorities when it's all over the place. I can't see her getting back to her pack because really she hasn't done anything to reach that goal besides train for a while. I can't see her getting back to her pack because really she hasn't done anything to reach that goal besides train for a while. She hasn't even tried to understand her magic necklace, which probably could have helped with their book predicament but nooo, go with the sacrifice ceremony coz that's what the queen suggested. Right, we don't have a bright heroine here folks! Beware for your braincells' sake. I lost a few of them while reading, especially the part of the sacrificial ritual. I mean they've been warned to take it seriously but reading the things they offered, (a sash, a poem from an ex who wasn't even the true-love-totga kind, just a tolerable ex like WTF?!, a fucking BRA, and a cartridge from a very special video game), I didn't blame the magic for attacking the stupid girl and making her lose everything. Really, she deserved it. It's also hard to dive deep into their emotions when she's always so horny. Not funny, when she's contemplating serious things and then one of the guys enters the scene and suddenly all she can think about is screwing them, it's hard to take her seriously. I mean, I'm all for the SMUT but I also want some substance. Then there's the guys. I don't get them, I can't differentiate them, they all look the same to me. And I don't mean just physically, they don't act in a ways that are distinct and particular to their character. I always had to know who's talking because otherwise, I won't recognize them. Everything is honestly confusing. Or maybe I just need to sleep this off before picking up the next book, because so far my ratings of this series is below my average, which is 2.5-Goodreads stars.

This is the third book in the series. They do require reading in order. And each book picks up immediately where the last left off. Overall, I like the story and the world created here. Aside from an assortment of supernaturals, book three has followed along that route rather well. We aren't 100% who Elizabeth and her guys should trust as things are constantly turned upside down, and this leads to Elizabeth finally beginning to understand her magic. Unfortunately, understanding doesn't always lead to a happily ever after, and things take a wild turn for her. Elizabeth must make a choice, and she may not be the only one to suffer its consequences. I've really enjoyed following the story through its different twists and turns. I do wish there was a little more character building. Throughout all three books there is this bond between Elizabeth and the men, but I feel as though we really only see it with two of them. For the other two its as if its simply there and the reader should just accept it. It makes it harder to connect with the characters at times. I often find I'm connecting with story only when certain characters are interacting. So hopefully the next book brings a lot more relationship and character developments. I received an ARC of this book.

I'm just whipping through these Fated Alpha goodies! They are THAT addicting!! I just love discovering more about this magical world; meeting colorful characters, learning about its history & unraveling new mysteries. Super bummed about the lack of sexcapades though. What a pathetic wench. I get Hunter's motivation for sacrificing himself but didn't like it one bit! At the 77% mark I couldn't help but say, "F*ck you, spell book. F*ck 'em all." What I'm having trouble dealing with though... the cliffhangers in this series. I think I might be #dead after yet another one. *grabs her bag of Cheetos & a Mountain Dew to help herself recover* On to the fourth book in the series, Elizabeth, Alpha of Dragons. For the sake of sexiness, use "p*ssy".

In looking back at my review of the previous book of the series I find I feel similarly towards this third installment (and they do need to be read in order). Unfortunately, even after finishing the third story in the series I still don't feel a strong connection to the main characters or their connection to each other. I suspect based on other ratngs and reviews I see that I am in the minority here. As before, there are some awkwardly written/incorrectly structured sentences and some errors, but they continue to be easily overlooked, partly due to the fast-paced, easy read nature of the story. There are so many things I enjoy, but I think overall I would like it better if their world was explored in more detail, and the characters and their relationships explored a little more comprehensively. That being said, these things are considerably better done than in several RH books/series I have read over the last few years, which leaves it falling somewhere in the middle of the scale for my personal tastes. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Elizabeth and the Magic of Dragons might be my favorite book of the Fated Alpha series [so far]. Elizabeth and the Magic of the Dragons is a real page-turner that kept me up late and had me sneaking off to read whenever I could. I absolutely love the world this author has created and I adore the characters. Elizabeth shows vulnerability while being strong. She demonstrates why she was chosen as the Fated Alpha of her pack - which, by the way, I have a feeling we'll be seeing the fate of her pack soon - and navigates her budding relationship with four very different dragons with grace. I cannot wait for book 4 - especially after the ending Elizabeth and the Magic of Dragons! Oh and I just saw that there's only 5 books currently set in this series, so I'd like to publicly, politely request for more :)

She has been through so much in such a small amounty of time, I feel like it will be too much soon. But then again, I like all the angst. I like how she isn't just jumping into a relationship. I'm so excited to read the fourth book to see how this will all end. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking to start it. It is absolutely fantastic! It's so great to see wolves and dragons brought together in this dynamic. You usually see one or the other.

The series definitely keeps getting more interesting, and I feel that the author is finally starting to hit her stride. That being said, there is still a significant lack of character development. Yes, Elizabeth has been getting physically stronger due to her training but beyond that….she still hasn’t grown into the Alpha mentality that you would expect from someone in her role. Still, the series isn’t over yet so fingers crossed!

This 3rd installment of the series does begin to get more into the fiery romance side of things for sure later in the book. lol The plot thickens with the political goings-on in the dragon clan. This third book in the series by Ava Mason is, if it's even possible, even better than the first ones as she introduces the dragon queen, more details about Sophia, as well as more betrayals. I love the way she works with the wolf's power and the dragon's magic as she has the reader wondering whether the greedy sexy wolf will choose all four dragon men or settle for only one. And, OMG, does she know how to leave a real doozie of a cliff hanger to lead into the fourth, and so far, final book. This is the third book in the RH Fated Alpha series and it picks up right where book two ended. There is plenty of suspense, action and twist and turns to keep you pulled in and wanting to know what is going to happen next. That is pretty much all that I can say without giving any spoilers. This is a very good, fast-paced read. The storyline flows easily and there is some maturity in Elizabeth but more backstory on her dragons would be appreciated. There is action, and character growth in this emotional read. The series keeps getting better but it does need to be read in order. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Keeps getting better This installment of Elizabeth’s story is intense. Elizabeth is an awesome MC, she has a core of strength, and does what she needs to with whining. There are some heart-breaking moments, but there is also fun and steaminess. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Elizabeth's dragon: Hunter Well Ava has done it again. The story was simply riveting and the suspense was good. The sex scenes were great as usual. The other dragons were a little subdued but I bet her next book will show them a it more ruled up. Recommend this whole series it is intriguing & delightful.
