This book was given to me as a gift after the birth of my first baby. It was a breath of fresh air after all the parenting books I received! At times it certainly feels as though you, as a new mum are a bit forgotten once your bundle of joy arrives. And it’s easy to get so caught up you forget to look after yourself. So, the book was perfect - like a friend dishing out hugs on every page. Practical advice, answers to the questions you’re a bit afraid to ask the midwife/health visitors, reassuring This book was given to me as a gift after the birth of my first baby. Practical advice, answers to the questions you’re a bit afraid to ask the midwife/health visitors, reassuring and gently honest. It’s also a gorgeous book, lovely illustrations and each section is short so you can dip in and out easily between naps and feeds :) I’d definitely recommend this book and will be gifting it to new mummy friends and family.

There are so many books on how to take care of babies but it is so true that one is usually more afraid to not be well enough to do well... This book has solid advice on how to keep well. I loved it! I'll get it as a gift to all new Mama's I know. Illustrations are very lovely. It also helped me to create a discussion ground with our family while planning postpartum.
