I can’t believe it’s almost done I have a reading the series for the past month now I’m completely caught up and waiting for the eighth and last book to come out. This one was just as good as the other ones not as gory not as demented but the tension of leading up to the last book is there. You can’t quite put it down because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the backstory of Jack is sad and tears at your heart a little bit.I’m not sure what’s going to happen to Maddie but oh my God the way t I can’t believe it’s almost done I have a reading the series for the past month now I’m completely caught up and waiting for the eighth and last book to come out. Got my head spinning trying to figure out what is going on and now I have to sit here and wait for the eighth and last book. The series is so good I hate that it’s about to end.

Book seven reveals some answers but not all. Filled with mystery, horror and madness, where will it end? Atmospheric, with more levels than just horror, though, of course, horrific. Great characters and craziness. Recommended to horror fans that like originality.

This book explains a lot about why things happened. Jack has been slowly assuming the identity of Dr Grazier, this book details his life before they met, and his downward spiral since he moved in with him. Maddie finds that leaving the house is a bigger task than she could imagine, encountering some disturbing visions, and wondering if what she sees is actually real. As things finally come to a semblance of a conclusion, the final book waits in the wings to throw you off balance again. If you hav This book explains a lot about why things happened. Change I previously rated The Raven Watches with a low rating. I must change that rating to outstanding. When I tried reading the book the first time, I had not read other books in the series. After reading previous Jack the Ripper books by Amy Cross, I re-read this one and once I knew what was going on, I had to give it a new rating. I am a fan of Ms Cross and I have yet to read a book of her's that I didn't like. A big mistake. Now I'm on to the last book of the series. Excellent author! 2nd To The Last In this 7th volume, Maddie from the Present , has realized that something in the house has continuously healed her from fatal wounds and Jack from the Past is realizing that there is a lot of sacrifices to make in order to be a true gentleman. On to the last book. Get this series it will consume you.

What an excellent series this is Book 7 continued at the same fast pace as its predecessors, with the same level of intrigue and horror. I cannot wait to read the final installment. None of these books is a stand alone story and it is essential that the entire series is read consecutively. Well recommended.

Is There Such a Thing as Too Creepy? Now this is just a downright creepy series. 1888: exactly who are Dr. Charles Glazier, Catherine, Delilah, Jack, et al.? Today: exactly who are Maddie, Alexa, Nick, Matt, et al.? We know that the house is co-occupied, but by what? They are merging very quickly now, and the creepy factor has increased very fast. Who ARE these people?

Amy Cross writes the most thrilling cliff hangars. How she manages to do it, book after book, is beyond me. I have one book to go before I’m finished with this series and while I’m feeling accomplished... I’m also a bit worried that I’ll end up in a reading slump. Cross has enveloped me with her writing and I don’t want to leave.

The Raven Watcher ( The House of Jack the Ripper Book 7) Rather a hard story line to follow, it is still intreging. Does Jack the Ripper finally meet his end. Will we find out who he truly is? What happened to him that he suddenly disappeared? The story will hold your attention. I RECOMMEND. ENJOY.

Really enjoyed this book, set up lovely for the final installment, book 8. Low and behold within 10 minutes of finishing I get a message to say the last book is available. So, goodbye world there is no sense from me until I have finished reading book 8.

Needs a bit of editing Great series. Great book, this one stands out. Things are slowly coming together. A few editing errors but will not detract from the story. I can't wait to read the next. Good series! Very well written story. I can’t wait to read the last final part. Even though there are time jumps they are clearly marked and easy to follow
