This is a twist on the world of Elizabeth and Darcy. I think I would have enjoyed the Christmas story better if I had read prior books in the series. This is not much of a stand alone, but there are some interesting story paths for the Darcy’s.

This book is a Christmas themed sequel to The Madness of Mr. Darcy https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... which I also gave four stars. I really must insist that you read the previous book or you will never understand the setting or anything else. And a very teeny bit of this story is set at Christmas. And it ends at 75% on my Kindle But yeah it isn't terrible This book is a Christmas themed sequel to The Madness of Mr. Darcy https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... which I also gave four stars. A beautiful snippet in time just over one year after the end of "The Madness of Mr. Darcy". Highly recommend that you read the main book first. I know it is the Christmas season, and I should be grateful that Ms. Adams has given us this glimpse into these characters lives again, but I wish it was longer... This is a beautiful little epilogue to The Madness of Mr. Darcy. If you have read that, you will enjoy this further HEA. If you're a JAFF lover, read both! Scrolling through my Kindle offerings, I realized that I never read this one. I loved the author's variation on P&P, The Madness of Mr. Darcy, and was delighted she wrote a follow-up holiday novella. It is set a year after the events in the previous book and does not work as a standalone. This follow up shows the reader where the familiar characters are at one year later, particular Darcy and Elizabeth. The pair live quietly at Pemberley and are happy and content. This follow up shows the reader where the familiar characters are at one year later, particular Darcy and Elizabeth. The pair live quietly at Pemberley and are happy and content. Elizabeth feels there is only one thing lacking. She is sad that her husband is the last of his family line even though he is not disturbed by this as long as he has her at his side. This was a shorter piece, but through an announcement and an invitation, the reader is brought up to speed on all the principle characters and gets one more opportunity to spend time with beloved characters. It was a heartwarming and engaging follow up that fans of the earlier story will delight in.

3.5-4 stars This is a continuation of 'The Madness of Mr. Darcy' (which was a delightful surprise for this reader) If you have not read that, and are a fan of Jane Austen Fan Fiction, then I encourage you to pick it up. This one is a lovely little continuation, which is nicely written. I did enjoy it, but yet again, wish it'd been longer. So, if you haven't already done so, read "The Madness of Mr Darcy" and then follow it up with this little Christmas themed nugget. 3.5-4 stars This is a continuation of 'The Madness of Mr. Darcy' (which was a delightful surprise for this reader) If you have not read that, and are a fan of Jane Austen Fan Fiction, then I encourage you to pick it up. Good Finish The sequel,or finish to Mr. Darcy's Madness gives us more to the closure for our beloved couple. So glad the author came back with this finish! Avid Reader I had no idea that this book existed. I read the first book. The sequel was charming. Happy to see that Darcy and Elizabeth got the sons they deserved.

Quick read This is a sequel to the Madness of Mr. Darcy. The plot is predictable as is the ending. But overall a good quick read that leaves Darcy and Elizabeth at a great place. Only complaint was that there several typos in the book which were a bit distracting.

Before reading this book, I highly recommend reading The Madness of Mr. Darcy first. The Perfect Happy Ending A beautiful way to end the first book, which I loved also. Nicely written. I’m happy to have discovered this author
