Love this. I am in love with Rosehill. I can't wait for the next book. I know I have to wait eleven months for it. Please write faster. Love this. I am in love with Rosehill. I can't wait for the next book. I know I have to wait eleven months for it. Please write faster.

I LOVE Pamela Grandstaff's Rose Hill Mysteries and have been eagerly awaiting the publication of the latest in the series. I was not disappointed! I think Pumpkin Ridge is different from the other books in the series, in that it is darker, has less humor, and focuses on fewer of the familiar residents of the little town. Ava is the primary character in this novel; she drives the plot as the depths of her ruthlessness and evil nature are revealed. Melissa (who has earned her degree and is working as a paralegal for Sean), is her primary target because Ava views her as an obstacle in her path to having everything she wants: her husband, his wealth, and her lover Patrick. Unfortunately, Ava escapes punishment for her latest misdeeds, which include murder, but is forced to pay a personal price for remaining free. I missed Maggie and Scott in this novel, and I can't wait to see how things work out for Claire and Ed and their new family, Melissa as she forges a new life without Patrick, and Hannah and Sam as they struggle through tough times.

So great to reconnect with this series. It had been awhile since reading #9 but I quickly got back into the lives of the Fitzpatrick family. This book centered on Melissa, an honorary family member, living with and totally in love with Patrick. Unfortunately, he is a lying cheat with the main object of his interest (obsession) with Ava. She is described at one point as a malignant narcissist (like our current president, having no interest in or empathy with anyone except as they meet her needs. In the opening pages Ava kills a private investigator who has been surveilling her for some time. It sounds melodramatic, but all the books in this series could fit that description. But I enjoy them anyway! I am starting the next one in the series now.

This is the 10th in the Rose Hill Mystery series. Somehow I missed number 9, but there was no problem following the storyline in this one, although I think it's better to have read some of the earlier books in this series to really understand the motivations of some of the characters. And the characters are the best part of this series. This one ends up with a bit of a cliff-hanger, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this community soon. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I have now read the entire collection after a half-hearted start in my part. The author developed the plots well and the characters grew as the books progressed. There was some angst that I always hate in books, but the story kept my interest. I was actually cheering that Melissa kicked The low-life to the curb (finally) and that she seems to have a good future in the horizon. I am actually hoping there is another book and that Pumpkin Ridge was not the end of the series.

Very enjoyable I’ve read all 10 books in this series and enjoyed them all. There are a lot of characters and it took awhile to get to know them all and their relationships but I’m glad I did. I also learned a lot of good info about dementia and other subjects and I appreciated that info.

Rose Hill Mystery Series If you start with book one you find a great long book, so far ending in-book ten. Hope eleven is in the near future. Fun, laugh out loud in places, sad in other places. Families you will love but true to life and even some times recognize. Time well spent living with these people.

So far I've read all of them Pamela Grandstaff is an amazing author. I've read all 10 of the Rose Hill Mysteries almost without stopping. She is amazing in that her books delve into struggles that everyone has in one form or another and yet they include compelling mysteries. I can hardly wait for book 11. Likable Characters We see so much of these people’s complex lives that we feel part of their family and town. I don’t like how a few of the characters changed so much from book to book, and my full memory doesn’t retain details any more on complicated family trees. That being said, I look forward to reading the next book, which I’m going to get as soon as I submit this review!

Another Great One I was so delighted to find this book, #10 of 11. I thought the Rose Hill saga ended at book 9 and I felt like I had lost a friend. This book continued with the humor, the quirky characters and the engaging story line. I’m on to book 11 now and by the time I finish it I’m hoping there will be a book 12.

Hard to put down! This book was very addicting, I didn't want to put it down. I can't wait for the next one to come out. This is the first book by Ms Grandstaff that I have read. I may have to find the first in this series and start from there. Hard to put down! This book was very addicting, I didn't want to put it down. I can't wait for the next one to come out. Keeps it going Oh what tangled Webb’s we weave when we practice to deceive. Well be assured these stories are all that and more. I keep reading, getting wrapped up and entangled and enjoy the well written tales of these people and their neighbourhood. On to the next.

Interesting series I really got hooked to this series. I'm glad I stumbled on to it. It's about people, fleshed out characters that you are drawn to. There are mysteries worth the read, but it's the characters that you come back for! Interesting series I really got hooked to this series. I'm glad I stumbled on to it.
