3.5* I haven't read any of the previous books in this series but I don't think it mattered too much as there was enough explanation it was needed. So, to the book itself. This is a study in how to write a style of BDSM which allows feelings and emotions to bleed through into everything which happens on the page. I've never read this author before either and they have an interesting style of writing which is heavy on the details but not to the point of excess while, at the same time, having some odd 3.5* I haven't read any of the previous books in this series but I don't think it mattered too much as there was enough explanation it was needed. I've never read this author before either and they have an interesting style of writing which is heavy on the details but not to the point of excess while, at the same time, having some odd grammar. Like Mischa lending a house instead of borrowing it - as in the sentence reads Mischa had lent a house from one of his clients. Just odd, but strangely it worked alongside the Russian man's character. Tom is a gem, feisty and stubborn but also utterly compliant in his submission once he gets over himself. There's lots and lots of scenes of sex in this book so if that ain't your thing, don't read it. It's not always my thing either but here they're handled with skill and as well as being descriptive, they manage to portray the trust and emotional connections while being volcanic. There's lots of humour too to break through all the sex and a fair bit of relationship communication and development and all ends with a neat epilogue. #ARC received from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review.

Finally getting to the wedding! It’s been a while since I read the last book, so there was a lot I didn’t remember but it was fine. Tom is now in Chicago for his PhD studies and he’s adamant about Mischa staying in Boston. The story opens as they’ve been apart for two months and gets into scenes pretty quickly. There’s a reason for it as more of the story is about Tom and his state of mind and stubborn nature. However, two enema scenes in the story were more than enough! There’s a reason for it as more of the story is about Tom and his state of mind and stubborn nature. However, two enema scenes in the story were more than enough! There were a couple different things too that really emphasized the different style of BDSM pain play than I see in other books. Not really bad or anything, just different. The focus though is the relationship and learning it takes work to maintain balance between two such different personalities. Tom is too independent and Mischa the bada$$ Dom is sometimes too much of a pushover but in the wrong way. I did feel the story became a little too drawn out with a few extra details and unimportant feeling events. (And maybe it was just me but it was almost too much sex.) It fit the characters though. I’m not sure if I’ve missed other books by the author. I’d like to read about Toby and Ben. Still a great ending to the series.

Quoting the blurb – “An unrepentantly grumpy Dom with an unrepentantly pain-loving sub, kink so hot that the reader will be in imminent danger of blushing, and two characters who do their very best to turn a perfectly nice romance into a porn movie every chance they get.” This book was such a surprise. When I came across this book, I was so surprised because I had no idea the author was even thinking of pursuing this story further because I don’t know, I am one of those people that associates Happily Ever Afters with endings and that is exactly what the last book was named. So this book was quite a surprise and I just had to have it as soon as I saw it. All in all, I couldn’t have been more happy that the author decided to write more Mischa and Tom, because seeing how happy I was to know that there was indeed a new book about these two, made me realise that these two had made quite the impression on me and the best part about reading this book was that as soon as I started reading this one, I didn’t get the feeling that I was missing out on something because I couldn't recall the story of the previous books, which is something I was definitely afraid of considering I read the first two parts of this series in 2014. But it was very easy to slip back into this world. Tom and Mischa were amazing. As a couple they are perfect and their story arc was so amazingly written. It was amazing to see how a couple so in sync and so in love could still manage to have conflicts. It was so naturally done like in the beginning these two were like so in tune with each other that I really could not have predicted that they could have had a fight that didn’t feel forced or that they could still have problems/conflicts that were so organic. The entire narrative arc for Tom and Mischa’s story was amazing and so well-written. The best part was that the author used the characters’ own personality traits to propel the story as well as to create the conflict. It was just amazing. The only thing I was a little disappointed if you could say so was probably the sex. I felt like I had very high expectations considering how hot the first two books were and I feel like this was a case of extremely high expectations, because if I am being truthful, this book was beyond hot and it only fails in my comparisons. There are some scenes that Mischa and Tom share that were on fire like God! I have no idea how to describe them but I have to mention two scenes one was that scene with Tom gagged and plugged and just flooded with sensory input and the other was the one near the end with that cock enhancer. God these two scenes stood out in a wealth of amazing scenes. This book was definitely special because the thing at the end of book 2 happens in book 3 well that’s all I can say without it being a spoiler. But it was amazing. I love Mischa and Tom and I love their story and I especially adored getting to be in touch with these two again and I was wondering if we could possibly get more. Cover Art by C.B. Conwy. I loved the cover, it is so amazing and fits the book perfectly.

Review by The Blogger Girls. It has been some time since I have read about Mischa and Tom, and it was really nice to catch up with them again. It has been some time since I have read about Mischa and Tom, and it was really nice to catch up with them again. Their relationship is solid and they continue to be in tune with each other’s needs, both with respect to the BDSM, as well as the rest of their relationship. In this installment, they are engaged but living apart with Mischa in Boston while Tom pursues the final two years of obtaining his PhD. When they are finally able to coordinate a visit, it becomes clear to Mischa that things aren’t quite working out so well for either of them; he really misses Tom, though he tries to give him his independence; and Tom misses Mischa but feels it’s important for him to reach his goal. Neither wants the other to give up something which would enable them to be together that would, in the long run, negatively affect their feelings through resentment. Things have a way of working themselves out though before too much strife is placed upon this couple. They have amazing scenes when they are together, but just as importantly, have quality time outside of the scenes as well. Mischa wants to be everything for Tom without crowding him, and it isn’t always easy. Thankfully, they realize what’s important and their communication improves greatly. Mischa and Tom play pretty heavily with regards to the BDSM. In that respect, this might not be for those who just like to dabble a bit. Mischa is a bit of a sadist, though he is extremely caring and thoughtful. And Tom is a bit of a pain junkie as well, so while they make a perfect match, their play is a little more intense and hardcore than some. But, throughout it all, the emotions and feelings, love and devotion all shine through making the scenes that much more meaningful. Oh, and in the middle of all of this, they are planning a wedding, or their friend is going crazy planning their wedding. It ended up working perfectly and rounded out this story very well. It was great visiting these guys again, and I will definitely be looking out for more from this author.

Its been several years since I read book 2 and I haven't read any of the in between books, so it was a surprise to me that Mischa and Tom were living in different cities. I liked getting to know more about the relationship and also their friends and roommates. Toby being wedding plannerzilla was great. I am not sure if this is the final book but at least we left our guys in a good place.

Re-read April 2018: A+++++ It's such a shame this series by CB Conwy doesn't get more attention, I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE Misha and Tom's story. I did not read the other books in the series but it reads fine without doing so but it did make me curious to go back and see how Mischa and Tom's story began. He doesn't want Mischa to upturn his life just because of studies so Tom has opted to a two year long distance relationship. But things aren't going so well between visits and the strain starts to show in their relationship. Mischa wants one thing and Tom another. I enjoyed reading this story. The BDSM didn't make me squirm and I thought Mischa and Tom were very likable and sweet together. There were moments when they made me laugh and seeing their relationship dynamic was an experience. I liked that their was a focus on aftercare and that the author also included how karate worked for Tom's recovery and the correlation with BDSM. I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review. I loved this book. It could possibly be read as a standalone but I really think that you should read the previous books in the series as well. In the first two books we see how Misha and Tom meet and we follow their progress as they become an established couple with a BDSM lifestyle. Misha is a dom who doesn’t do multiple scenes with the one sub and Tom is the sub who makes Misha break that rule. CB Conwy is an excellent writer who kept me engaged from the first few lines. The editing in the book is good and that is something which I really appreciate. In ‘How to domesticate a Russian Bear: A Russian Bear 111’ Misha and Tom are engaged but living apart as Tom studies. This is not easy on either man. We follow their long distance relationship and we see them as they get together for some wild, scene-filled weekends. There is a lot of sex and there are a lot of BDSM scenes which are hot. I have no hesitation in recommending 'How to Domesticate a Russian Bear.'

This book follows Tom after he made the decision to move for his Phd, and refuse Mishca to follow, and their weekend meetups. Filled with scenes, and the desperation of two people that is too stubborn to communicate it. It's a nice roundup for the story, with Tom finally letting Mishca in and they get to have their wedding. Captivating and entertaining read The TSA scene with Mischa was a hoot. Lol. Toby as the official wedding planner was hilarious. It was funny reading about Tom's efforts to coerce Toby into stopping all his bridezilla wedding plans for Mischa's sake of sanity. They were both so supportive and protective of each other it made my heart melt. I love that Tom softened the old bears' sharp edges and made him a better Dom and person. I received this book for free by the author in exchange for an honest review via the MMRG Don’t Buy My Love Program. This is the 3rd book in the series that features Mischa and Tom. I read the first book a couple years ago, but didn’t read any further until now. I did not read book 2 and didn’t feel like I missed anything, but suspect I would have been more invested in Tom and Mischa’s success in confirming their commitment to each other if I had. The majority of the story is expressed through BDSM scenes, but that was expected since it is a major part of their relationship, and although we get some perspective from Mischa, Tom’s POV was the most powerful to me. I liked the scenes that pushed Tom’s limits in his masochism. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in reading about an established BDSM relationship, but suggest reading at least A Russian Bear: A Russian Bear I first really enjoy the success these two find in this story.

Love Story The kink is high, but it sizzles because of the depth of the story. I had just re-read the first two books when I learned about this one. All relationships have issues and the only way to move to the next level is honesty and communication.
