IN Pursuit A man wants retribution. And he'll do anything to ensure Ivy suffers. A serial killer terrorizes San Antonio. One point intersects the victims -- Ivy herself. The hunt is on…but who's the one being pursued? At the same time, a run-away teen begs Ivy to find her missing parents. Is there some outside force behind their disappearance? The parallel investigations seem both clear and murky at the same time. Can Ivy tell the difference? Just as Ivy believes the end is near, past connections are slammed in her face. And nothing will be the same. IN Doubt What does the face of evil look like? Ivy has a calling. Protect those who can't protect themselves. An adorable little girl. A shamed woman stashed away in a mental institution. Even her friend. But what force can stop an egomaniac hell-bent on revenge? A monster returns. Lives are shattered. The suspicion of guilt shrouds everyone. With her world caving in around her, can Ivy ever stop looking over her shoulder? Get the first three Ivy Nash novels now! 'Ivy Nash Thrillers: Books 1-3' blew me away. 'IN Defiance', 'IN Pursuit' and 'IN Doubt' brings another great lead, Ivy. She fights for those that can't. She very passionate about those that have lost hope and who really don't know who to turn to. She's quite the angel in disguise. I love her passion, her strength and her compassion. Ivy is a great addition to the 'Redemption Thrillers Series'. A must read. Recommended. 'Ivy Nash Thrillers: Books 1-3' blew me away. These books were definitely thrillers. I think anyone who has gone through trauma will agree that we all experience survival differently. I love to see writers venture outside of their gender when creating a main character, and in this case John Mefford did a fantastic job. I believed in Ivy and rooted for Christina. I can picture every character, from Stan to Nick to Zahara. I feel as though I'm bingeing a Netflix show. The writing is easy to follow and the discussions between and across characters in various scenes can be challenging in fast-paced scenes, but it just speaks to the heartbeat of writer's style. On to Books 4-6!

Good not great The amt of secrets the main characters keep from each other is bizarre. Ivy is kidnapped n tortured for days yet acts as if it never happened, even the scars she received r never mentioned not even by her lovers. Cristina is beaten n almost raped n she keeps it a secret n no-one notices. Both needed a hospital n yet the doctor is the only one who ever ended up there. Ivy was beaten twice in 2 days, broken rib but no doctor required. Also the way language is spoken makes it a bit ha Good not great The amt of secrets the main characters keep from each other is bizarre. Dark books about child rape These books are on the edge of your seat thrillers. They are about evil men who rape for the power it gives them. I was engrossed in the stories but I didn't like all the profanity. Also the story keeps going and Ivy's rapist is never caught. You have to keep reading . Will he ever be caught? It is left open at the end of each book. Dark books about child rape These books are on the edge of your seat thrillers. They are about evil men who rape for the power it gives them. I really enjoyed these three books. I love the main characters and how they interact with each other. There isn't a boring moment in these books. The plot is amazing and will keep you on the edge the entire time reading these books. I want to read more from this author. I need to know what happens to Ivy in the upcoming books. Ivy Nash Dark, dark, dark. Too much for me. I made it about 30% of the way. The entire book so far is about rape of under age girls, raunchy sex, murder, more sex, etc. I'm sure in the end it turns out OK but I'm not willing to invest anymore time to find out. Too much cussing Story line would probably have been ok but too much cussing. Couldn't get past chapter 2 because of the cussing. Too much cussing Story line would probably have been ok but too much cussing. Couldn't get past chapter 2 because of the cussing.

Why did I give these books a 5 star rating? The first three Ivy Nash books are a thrill a minute. They suck you in and don't let go of you until the very last word. Enjoyable I found the characters interesting and their connection to Ivy realistic. Hopefully each character has a back story that will be told in the next series.

Ivy Nash Mostly well written, a few timeline issues... self defense training does no good... and why you you be in a trunk on purpose with no padding? Extremely graphic violent torture scenes. The characters are three dimensional. Not feel good stories.
