I've read several books by Jessie Bennett, all of them wonderful stories. But when I saw that this is one is about a triangle love, I had some serious doubts. I usually don't like to read stories like that, since it is obvious that someone is going to get hurt. So it was with some dread that I started reading this. So I'm very glad, and relieved, to be able to say I really enjoyed this story! It takes place at the same time as the first story in this series, in the same village, only with a slightly different main characters. And where The Trouble With These Gentlemen is mostly set in the village, this one mainly takes place in and around Bellhouse, the house of the Duke and Duchess. And since one of the main characters is the gardener, some of the scenes take place 'downstairs'. I especially liked the scene where the servants are eating in the kitchen. And then of course there is the danger of which the title speaks. Fascinating book! I received a copy and chose to review it.

Another tale from Jessie Bennett with a love triangle and a psycho "beach" watching from the perimeter. But enough about geometry! Jonathan and Joshua are both great love interests, both white knights. Bella is the lady who must choose whom to make her life partner. Enter Elena- she wants one man and is willing to do anything to have him. Well, that's a recipe for trouble. The plot was interesting- I didn't want to stop reading. Jonathan was a sweetheart, too loving to be real. Joshua and Bella w Another tale from Jessie Bennett with a love triangle and a psycho "beach" watching from the perimeter. But enough about geometry! Jonathan was a sweetheart, too loving to be real. Joshua and Bella were more human, each in a quandary and unable to decide which action to take, but for different reasons. And Elena...I couldn't figure out how she stayed alive through the entire book; I would have taken her out if no other character would go to prison or hang! As always, I enjoyed the supporting characters. I look forward to Bella's brothers' love stories.

The Lady’s Dangerous Love is the second story in the Bainbridge Love and Challenges series. Bella Cornwall, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess, has a problem. Shortly after becoming betrothed to Lord Jonathan Humbridge from London, she realizes that Joshua Foster, the estate’s gardener is not just her best friend, but the man she truly loves. Her parents would not object to a match between her and Joshua, but she doesn’t want to hurt and embarrass her family or Jonathan’s. Her parents would not object to a match between her and Joshua, but she doesn’t want to hurt and embarrass her family or Jonathan’s. How will she decide what is best to do? Her dilemma doesn’t end with that decision. First she becomes quite ill, and then there are several incidents of vandalism at the Bellhouse Estate, and they seemed to be aimed at Bella. Who is doing this and why? There is a lot to be addressed and sorted out if there is to be a happily ever after in this one. This is quite an enjoyable series. Bainbridge is a lovely village, and the people, including the Duke’s family, who live there are nice friendly people who see beyond class and care for each other. I received a complimentary copy of this book. I voluntarily reviewed it and the comments are my own.

Another Awesome book from Jessie. The year is 1818 and Bella has agreed to marry Jonathan. Bella lives in Bainbridge and he lives in London. Bella discovers she also loves the gardner, Joshua. Joshua had been in her life for years helping to take care of her. This book has suspense, danger, twist, confusion, decisions, soul searching, and love. Grab the book and see what troubles Bella’s love brings to her. Jessie as usual has brought her characters to life and given them over to her plot. You w Another Awesome book from Jessie. Bella Cornwall, only daughter of the Duke of Bellhouse, has just become engaged. Joshua Foster, the gardener, has loved Bella since she was ten. Lord Humbridge is her intended. The descriptions helped bring you into the story. The great characters are full bodied, the dialogue was interesting and fit well with what was happening. It is a well written tale that has fun, attempted murder, fire and a mental ill person. A lovely story This is a wonderland story filled with suspense. I enjoyed the short chapters with named heading that gave a preview of what the chapter would be about. It was like a short outline, making the reading more organized/progressive. There was just enough suspense to keep my interest. I was short enough to read in a day and kept me interested so much that I did not want to out if down. Plus, it had a happy ending. What else can you ask for?

The Lady's Dangerous Love by Jessie Bennett is Bella's story and is the second book in The BainBridge - Love & Challenges Series. The story has choices, denial, crime, evil and love within the pages. The story line is good. The characters are developed. The story is engaging and keeps your attention. This is another well done read by Jessie Bennett. I hope to read many more books by Jessie Bennett. I did receive an ARC and voluntarily read and gave my honest, fair review. This is a really nicely done romance, with a complex emotional situation as the leading lady, Bella, is torn between Jonathan, her destined husband, and "unsuitable" Jonathan, the man her heart has long cared for. No easy answers here, but that's ok as the excellent characters and well-written plot do a great job taking the reader to ... well, I'm not going to ruin it by telling you but I can assure you that you'll enjoy both the trip and the final destination. Definitely recommended. Book 2 in the series, A Bainbridge Series. When Bella comes home from London engaged to a baron, little does she know that it sets into motion a series of events that will twist her life and family into a turmoil. This is a story of challenges, love, and decisions Bella will have to overcome to be with the love of her life. Jessie Bennett has again written a story that grabs at the beginning and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last word. Can't wait until Book 3..... It's a nice, clean love story with likeable characters and a good plot. I like the Cornwall family relationship, they are close and supportive. Bella's heart is torn between her childhood sweetheart and her fiancé. There are some interesting twists and turns, jealousy and revenge. I enjoyed this Regency style fairy tale, it was a pleasant and enjoyable read, though I knew a relationship between a duke's daughter and a commoner would have been impossible. A story of what should be forbidden love! Bella is engaged to Johnathon, a man of her social standing, but realises that she loves the family gardener and long time friend Joshua, who returns her affection.I did feel for poor Johnathon during this story, a lovely man who does no wrong. As with other Jessie Bennett books that is danger lurking, an unforeseen menace. The family are sweet, and unlike in most other Regency novels I've read, most understanding! A gentle romance tinged with sadness. A story of what should be forbidden love! Lady Bella finds herself engaged to Lord Jonathan before she realizes she loves someone else. Now how does she get out of that without hurting her family and Lord Jonathan? Being young and impetuous will not set well with the 'ton' . It seems someone is out to do her harm also. An interesting array of characters as always. I was given an ARC copy for review but all of review is my own words. I enjoy Ms Bennett's regency romances. Bella has fallen in love and accepted a proposal from Jonathan Humbridge but then she finds out she really loves Joshua the gardner. Lots of things go on with Elena on of the kitchen maids and I really didn't like her I kinda had wished something would happen to her. True love knows no bounds or class wonderful story. Can't wait for the boys to find their true loves. Bella has fallen in love and accepted a proposal from Jonathan Humbridge but then she finds out she really loves Joshua the gardner. This is the second book in this series, and it took me a little bit to realize it, but this story runs concurrently with the first one. I loved Bella, Joshua and the brothers, and loved to hate Elena! I have really grown to love this genre, and cannot wait until the next book!
