Sometimes, however, being close to a piece of writing means you can't pull the salient points out of it when you need to. This book shows you how to do that with a very simple method. The author gives clear guidelines on what makes a blurb work and breaks this down by genre and sub genre. There are a multitude of examples with explanations on effectiveness. I will definitely apply the techniques in this book to my own blurb writing. It is also good to use if you get stuck on your plot, writing a blurb brings it back to basics and sets you back on the right track. I would recommend this book to others.
