The author gives clear guidelines on what makes a blurb work and breaks this down by genre and sub genre. There are a multitude of examples with explanations on effectiveness. I will definitely apply the techniques in this book to my own blurb writing. It is also good to use if you get stuck on your plot, writing a blurb brings it back to basics and sets you back on the right track. I would recommend this book to others.
