And this definitely had a great ending! But, where is Worthy?! I know he survived when we thought he was gone, but where is he now? I'm also disappointed that Stormspeaker and Heart Of The Land were destroyed. I wanted Rollan, Meilin, Abeke, and Conor to have those legendary Bond Tokens. But it is very awesome and cool that they created there own. I think there should be a spinoff of this series. In the spinoff series, it could be set maybe 15-20 years after this book. If you agree, comment on this review! And in the comments for my review, can someone please tell me how to create a group? I'm in some groups, but how do you create one? Because I want to create one for Spirit Animals, Emily Windsnap, and short novels by Jennifer Li Shotz. Thanks for reading my review! 😊✌️👍🐱📚

I'm really, really glad that the wyrm/zombie arc ended and went for the bond tokens, but the finale to this series fell short for me. I enjoy the four main characters a lot, but this book sort of spiraled into a cartoon finish that was incredibly open ended. I would have actually liked to see where the characters ended up a couple of years down the road, but we're left with them looking off into the unknown once again with the world in chaos all around them. I wish the side characters (and the main characters) had been handled better, but I still recommend this series all the time.

This was a really interesting book to read because it follows four adventurers who are all "bonded" to mythical creatures with special powers. Their "bonds" create a special relationship with their animals so the children are able to summon the animals at will, even if the animals are in a different room or place. My favorite part of the book is at the very end when the children find out that one of them has been a spy and traitor the whole time. My favorite part of the book is at the very end when the children find out that one of them has been a spy and traitor the whole time. There's a lot of dramatic irony in the book because at certain points the author actually hints that one of them is a traitor, but the characters don't know that. The dynamic between the characters after they find out one of them is a spy is also very interesting to read about, because they start turning on another and can't trust anyone. I would definitely recommend this book to any animal lovers or people who enjoy reading fantasy adventure novels.

Wow what a whirlwind that this series was. I can't believe it's over (or at least seems to be). The stories were wrapped up nicely for the most part but the overall series suffers from continuety errors most likely as a result of multiple authors. Overall this is not a huge issue but it is obvious that the authors didn't totally communicate with one another. The four main c Wow what a whirlwind that this series was. I am glad that the series finally wrapped up, but I also felt like we could've been given a little more at the end. What are the 4 kids going to do now? We never really knew how much time lapsed during all of their adventures, either. I always wondered how old they were through all of this. They couldn't still be eleven years old. I just thought that after all of these books, we should have been told more about what the Greencloaks were going to do next. 3.5/5-I really liked things about this portion of the series. I don’t think it quite measured up to the “Worm Trilogy” that preceded it. It never felt quite as desperate. And, it felt repetitive: traveling their world trying to find relics with great power. But, I loved that the 4 main characters were together for essentially the entire mission. And, I loved the climactic battle in the final book after they’ve strengthened the bond with their spirit animals. Good stuff!

This was a good book and a great ending to the series, but throughout I felt like the author was portraying the characters wrong. Not in a big way, but with little things that, to me, didn't feel true to the characters. Maybe it was just me, but I saw it and it bothered me. Hence: a five star rating reduced to three. Sad to be done! My youngest and I finished both series together. I thought it was interesting how seamlessly the story flowed despite there being a different author for every book. Although I guess Brandon Mull wrote both #0.5 and #1 of the Spirit Animal series.

This book wraps the series well. The four heroes solve the mystery behind the emperor's assassination and find the final Greencloak gift. They save Erdas and help bring peace back to the countries. This book wraps the series well. The four heroes solve the mystery behind the emperor's assassination and find the final Greencloak gift. The characters really went all-out this time, and it was super cool to see just how far they've come and to get an idea of how far they will go yet. This is book claims the spot for the darkest plot in the search for the relics and the battle against the Oathbound. The final book in the entire series (so far) is this one, and to truly know the Spirit Animals series, read this book.
