This is a quick and easy read for any author who wants to help their writing and publishing. Some tips were very practical like some social media tips I can implement immediately. Some were a bit more wacky like giving your book a funeral (if it is not working). I wasn't sure if the tips fell into the categories that neatly and a couple of the tips seemed quite similar to each other. I love these quick ideas for authors and they're not just for inspiration either! The book is divided into five highly relevant sections: writing and creativity, editing and polishing, engaging with readers and creating true fans, marketing to sell more books, and positive mindset and taking care of yourself. It touches on all the key areas authors focus their time. I'm going to keep this book handy so I can refer to it whenever I need a good idea in any of those areas!

Don't read this cover to cover. Dip into it now and again. Not everything will help you, or come at the right time, but it may just give you the inspiration you need. What a fun book This book gives writers some creative writing prompts to spice up their writing. I really like the robot. (Now you have to read it to find out what that is.)
