I still don't understand why any of the X-Men would be doing this and I still really wish this new wolverine would go away. This issue was a bit more entertaining than the last but left me feeling the same. Good, but I have to knock a star off for the crossover because I just cannot stand it. I wish Emma weren't a villain either because I really like her, and if she is going to be a villain then I at least need more Hellfire Club to make up for it, which is also lacking in this issue. I'm still not sure why there had to be Secret Empire crossover (view spoiler)[or why Magneto has Red Skull's...skull? (hide spoiler)] . I feel like I missed something too. Did I skip an issue somewhere? I need to go back and flip through the previous issues because I'm kind of swimming in the dark here on some things. I don't remember Raleigh or what she has to do with Jean's team. Kinda getting pedo vibes off Emma too, which, ew. How old are these baby X-Men again? This is an excerpt of Nerdent's review of X-Men Blue #8 (http://www.nerdent.net/2017/07/26/new... The interplay between the characters is perhaps the best feature Bunn has added to this series. Mixing wit and humor in classic X-Men fashion as seen as when Beast, Angel, and Ice Man examine how to break out of their cell with Beast promising to use the most powerful spells on the enemies. This issue claimed to be all about Emma (or at least that's what I was lead to believe by the synopsis & cover), yet it featured very little Emma content. So I don't know what was up with that. I don't understand what's going on with this entire series anymore, to be honest. I was fine with Vol 1, it seemed to flow pretty well and tell a good story. But something happened after issue 6, and I'm just confused. Like a previous reviewer said, I don't like that this crosses over with Secret Empire, because if I wanted to read Secret Empire, I'd pick it up. Marvel's crossover events are often long and tedious, and I just don't have the time nor the interest in reading everything that leads up to this. I think I'm done with this series, at least for the time being.

Only enjoyable part of this trash can fire is the cover gallery in the back. Christ, how the mighty have fallen. Straight trash, homie.

The cameo at the end was great, the rest of the book was okay.
