I felt like Saturday's journey was one of healing, on many levels, and the personal growth she went through really made this book so much better. Since I can't give anything away this review is hard for me. Let me just say I was FRANTIC to get my hands on this book. EAGER to start. ENTHRALLED throughout and ELATED once I finished. I can't wait for more from Natalie. My review of Behind the Blindfold (Vol 1): https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

You know a book must be good when it has you questioning your sanity. I love dark reads and after reading volume 1 I knew that I had to step back on the crazy train for another ride. I just had to get my answers about Mr. Sexy, Green Eye monster or so I thought Mark Rich was. You have to give this debut series a try, but only if you can handle the cliff hanger and you have a little bit of sanity left. Volume 2 was much better than volume 1. I didn't feel like this book was rushed. You must read volume 1 before volume 2 and you might want to have a glass of wine in hand to calm them nerves. I want to say so much more, but I am afraid that if I do I will give away too much and I don't want to ruin it for anyone.... Congrats Natalie E. Wrye on your debut series!! Thanks for the round trip aboard your crazy, mind warped train ride. I enjoyed the ride. I have a feeling that I will be revisiting this crazy ride again. This is like that roller coaster ride that you are scared to ride again, but you just have to anyway for that adrenaline high.

This is part two and the end of this series. If you've read part one and gasped at that cliffhanger then you gotta read this story. I absolutely loved this story. Well done to the author on a fantastic story.

Good grief does Natalie Wrye pack a lot of story in a few pages with her books! This review may contain spoilers from book one. Uncovered picks up where Behind left off, with a spooked Saturday and a mysterious Mark. Axe is in the picture, although he is portrayed in such a way that he ends up being pretty inconsequential to the story in my opinion. So the real focus in Saturday's feelings about Mark. In the time apart they aren't going away. There is something about this guy, she wants him, however wants to know what is really going on with him. Along with all of the Mark drama, Saturday also has to deal with her parents, both of her jobs, the slimy Cristiano and her best friend Kara. That adds up to a lot of problems and at the 75% mark the action is amped up to where you just can't wait to see how it's all going to end. While I am rooting for Mark, there is still an air of mystery about the guy and I was afraid to know what his real "problem" was. These lines are what kept me rooting for him: "....Something seemed to bring me to you. Maybe fate....or the universe....God....whatever you'd call it." ~ Mark "....I can't afford to lose you. You're the best and most unexpected thing that's ever happened to me." ~ Mark Such honesty and when Mark finally comes clean, you hope that Saturday can see the man in front of her, not the one from his past. Natalie Wrye did a great job at continuing her story, giving us new plot lines and then wrapping things up nicely. She is a very descriptive writer which is what drew me in as I read the first book. Great addition to the series!

It doesn't help that he keeps trying to contact her. He wants to explain but will Saturday allow him to get close again? Will things work between them and what is Mark really hiding? I loved the writing and I think this book answered a lot of questions! The perfect conclusion to the series! I really loved Mark. There was such a mystery and darkness about him...but also vulnerability. He came a long way! Bravo to the auhtor for that. 4 Stars from me! Great novella! This is not a stand alone, and you must read book 1 in order to know what is going on. More secrets are revealed and yet more mystery begins to unfold. I love that this author keeps you on your toes. I love the twists and turns, the unexpected stops and the fact that just when you think you have it figured out, you realize you were not even close. This is again, one of those books that is hard to review. Saying too much or the wrong thing will completely blow a new readers enjoyment of the story out of the water, because it is most definitely the mystery, intrigue and secrets that make this series to good. Nothing is as it seems. NOTHING. I still found myself torn on whether or not I liked Mark. I still couldnt decide if he was a decent guy or not. And some of the revelations that came in this book about him had me leaning heavily towards the "run Saturday run!! Far far away from this guy and dont look back!". But then another piece of the puzzle would fit into place and I would be back on the fence about him. Then another mystery would be solved and I would want them to have their happily ever after. Then something would happen and I was back to thinking he was a psycho that needed to be locked up in a padded room with a helmet and a set of crayons. But, then another piece of the puzzle would slip into place and I was back to rooting for him. It was almost maddening and I LOVED it. The author did a brilliant job keeping the mystery in surrounding him front and center. And the entire story kept me on my toes. Like with the 1st book, just when I thought I had it figured out, I found out I was not even close. One of the things I realized as I was reading this one, was that a good part of the reason I loved this series was because the author was so good at getting your mind thinking a certain way. She would play into that, but when the twist came it all made sense. You were never lost or felt like anything was out of place or forced. The entire story flowed well and nothing felt thrown in. All of the mystery behind Mark is brought forward. All of his secrets are uncovered. He is laid bare by the end of the book. And trust me when I say, nothing ended up how I was playing it out in my mind. There were so many surprises that you would think the author had just thrown everything but the kitchen sink into the story just to make it come out crazy. But once the last piece of the puzzle was put in place, it was seamless in its brilliance. And I found myself thinking "WTH??" more than once as I was reading. I read this one in 1 sitting. I literally read both book 1 and 2 in about a day and 1/2. My need to know what was going to happen was so strong. I was glad I started reading on a Sunday and that Monday was Memorial Day so I could just read. But, I must warn you... this one ends in a semi cliff hanger. What does that mean you ask??? Well, I emailed the author to ask if there was going to be another installment. She said yes. (Thank God!!) But what I mean by "semi" cliff hanger is this: All of the mystery was solved. You are left without any questions as to the things that happened. You get all of your answers. But the ending is what I call open ended. I cant really explain in too much detail because it would require spoilers... and you know how Iam about spoilers. You can read book 1 and 2 and not need to read another book. But, with the way the author ends it, you are left wanting more. You are left wanting to know what the future holds for Mark and Saturday. So even though it doesnt end on a "typical" cliffhanger, it does end by leaving you yearning for more of their story. So technically the series could end here, but thankfully the author has plans to put you out of your misery and give you more of Mark and Saturday. *Happy Dance* So, let the stalking begin as I look for book #3 of this series...... *I was gifted a copy of Behind the Blindfold: Uncovered in exchange for an honest review"

This story picks up right where Vol. 1 ended. Saturday ran away from Mark’s house after finding the photos. She keeps receiving gifts in the mail that she assumes are from Mark. She is both mad and happy about the gifts, mad because she is trying to get over him and happy because he is fighting to get her back. She has started to date someone else, a graffiti artist named Axe. She knows she should break it off but she just can’t bring herself too. She can’t bring herself to be intimate with him. She has started to date someone else, a graffiti artist named Axe. She knows she should break it off but she just can’t bring herself too. She can’t bring herself to be intimate with him. Kissing is as far as she can go plus she is always thinking about Mark and comparing Axe to Mark. She doesn’t think Axe is totally invested in the relationship either but she can’t be mad about it because neither is she. Then when she finally feels like she is moving on she sees Mark. She thought the next time she saw him she would yell and maybe hit him but she doesn’t. Instead she cries and is extremely happy to see him. He tells her he isn’t going to stay away anymore and that he wants to explain about what happened. Again in this story I really feel for Saturday. So much is happening. She wants to move on from Mark but deep down she knows that she still loves and trusts him. She wants to answers he is finally willing to give and not just for closure. Then she learns other things and is scared all over again. I was surprised by some of the things that happen in this book. I was really happy for Saturday that she finally got the answers she needed and the ending she wanted. Mark turns out to be totally different than what she thought at the end of the last book. Mark is a caring, broken man. He was worried that his past would affect his future with Saturday. He would rather be sad and alone than hurt Saturday. The end took be by complete surprise. I didn’t see that coming at all but it was great. It was just what the book needed. I would like to read more about these characters. I will be looking for other books by this author. I really liked this series. I was given this book in return for an honest review.

When I first started this mini series, I wasn't sure if I would like it. But I continued on to the second volume the next morning and this one was a little more adventurous and kept me entertained from almost the very beginning. And then the ending... WHOA... WTF.. WAS. NOT. EXPECTING. THAT!!! This author definitely gets MAJOR kudos for that plot twist because it was something I did not see coming in any direction... Kind of hits you out of left field. There are a few plot twists that are not really easy to spot and it made the story a lot better. The writing was a little sporadic, the attempt at suspense fell a little flat in both stories, it needed to be spruced up a bit, dug a little deeper, and then maybe both stories would have really EXPLODED. As it was, the way both stories unfolded was kind of bumpy but not really entertaining. It got a little slow and then a plot twist but nothing led up to the plot twist, it just kind of happened. Even though the stories themselves were a little flat, I still enjoyed the overall premise and I think with more stories, the author will really thrive! I give the fist Volume a 3"AHHHHH run for your life" Stars and Volume 2, 4" PLOT TWISTs was given a new name" Stars!!!

He is nothing like Mark. What is a girl to do? It's hard to get a ex out of your head when he is constantly putting himself in there by sending gifts, notes and flowers. It is him sending them, right????? After some time apart, Saturday sees Mark in person and quickly cries when he tells her he is back and wants to explain what is going on. Deciding that knowing is probably the best thing for her, she agrees but after learning the truth will his answers be enough? Will she want to stay and continue where they left off knowing the truth? Can Mark be the man she needs? There are many twist and turns in this story. Truths will be told by not only Mark and Saturday but also my some of the people you would least expect it from. This was a fantastic read and I found myself trying to slow down and not rush through it to find out what happens. Lets just say that the ending totally shocks me. Never saw that one coming.

The twist and turns of their relationship are….well sorta entertaining in a makes-for-a-good-read way. It makes it interesting and adds a sense of anticipation as to what might happen. I liked that part very much. They never seem to actually break up and they don’t really fight that much. The things that happen that keep bringing them together are wonderful, mainly because they just can’t stay away from each other. The story in Behind The Blindfold is fantastic. Not like anything I’ve read which is really refreshing. I enjoyed the story and the characters very much. I’m definitely a serious fan of Natalie Wrye’s now!!! Highly Recommend!!!

I enjoyed reading the first book in this series but it was left on a bit of a cliffhanger and so I wanted to read this book as soon as I possibly could. We also have other characters introduced and they all work in really well with the book. Saturday is getting a lot of gifts left at her home thinking it was Mark, simply binning them is easy enough to do, she doesn't want to even think about him but she finds that she thinks about him constantly. But when Mark is there after they rekindle and another gift turns up that wasn't from him this leads to another shocking discovery. A lot of Mark is revealed in this book, his secrets, all of them big and small and Saturday has a lot of healing to do before she can totally trust him again. I thought this was a fantastic series and hope to read more from Natalie E. Wyre in the future.

Okay, I must admit I liked this conclusion very much! The second book picks up right from where the first book ended. Saturday is trying to forget about Mark after the revelation at his house. Bravo to the author for that. 4 Stars from me! Great novella! Reviewed by Lina

Volume 2 of the Blindfold series has a whole lot of twist and turns just like it did in volume one but unlike volume one I could get into it. In this book we start off with Saturday trying to move on without Mark and dating which is not turning out well because no matter how crazy things were with Mark she still loved him. The only thing is something would not let me connect to this story like in volume one. There was so much going on that I actually got lost at one point but does that mean I would never read another one of Ms. Wrye novels, no because her stories are made with so much passion that no matter what you can tell that, if nothing else you will find pleasure in some part of the story.

Regardless of how much she tries to fight it, he is always there, in her dreams, her waking moments and everything in between. Their encounters are explosive and their chemistry and sensual moments are scorching. This second and last in the series is just as good as the first. It is well written and the characters keep you engaged in their story.

This is book two in the series and the story picks back up with Saturday and Mark but now Axe has come into the picture. Saturday was having a hard time not comparing the two men. Axe was a good man but Mark was the one that owned her heart whether Saturday would admit it or not. This story answered so many questions from the first book and it held just as many surprises. We delved deeper into her relationships with her friends, Jay and Kara. Kara was very much a surprise to me. Saturday really learned more about herself and what she wanted in her life. Mark was still the expert at disappearing but there were legitimate reasons this time. Overall it was a great story and I recommend it to anyone looking for romance with a big dose of suspense.

Wow I didn't see that one coming AT ALL! What a twist! I can't say more because I don't do spoilers hehe! I loved the story Behind the Blindfold: Uncovered! And I actually found out who Mark was and what he does, that was leftover from book 1. Saturday's (Daisy) & Mark's story continues in Behind the Blindfold: Uncovered and what a story it is! I also got my HEA! Which is always a must! This was a fairly quick read because I was able to read both books in 1 day and I loved that I could do it. So Wow I didn't see that one coming AT ALL! Wow! Ms. Wrye blew me away with this one! It totally exceeded my expectations and then some. The first novella in this 2-part series was really good. But this… this one was fantastic! Yowza. So this was unexpected. I really enjoyed Volume 1 and assumed this book would be much of the same. Except it took off at a dead sprint and never let up. Just when I thought I had things figured out, they turned - sharply - in another direction.
