I found it very interesting as I hadn't really seen anything like this before. I think this is a relatively new field and there is not a clear scientific consensus on the relationship between different patterns of brain activations and things like depression and anxiety and how meditation affects that. The most important take away is that different kinds of meditation might have different effects by stimulating different frequencies of brain waves. I am a little bit cautious on taking Tarrant's advice at face value since he is the only person I've seen giving these "Neuromeditation" recommendations. If I see other therapists, psychiatrists and researchers coming up with similar conclusions I will give it more weight but for the time being I'll just keep meditating with my current practice. But this certainly gave me food for thought and is something that I will be aware of as I meditate and see what (if any) impact my meditation has on my mental state, mood, etc.

Super helpful for anyone approaching meditation to learn or trouble shoot methodically. Also a lot of great practices and exercises included.
