I give this 3.5 stars. I'm not sure what to say about this novel, but I'm thinking it's a matter of personal taste as to how much you enjoy it. Interesting but definitely not strange, it seems to be a rehash of a variety of historical events with a paranormal twist and some urban legends. There are a lot of suppositions but really no new info, and I'm thinking it would be quite interesting for young adults who perhaps haven't heard about the stories as opposed to those of us that have "been there I give this 3.5 stars. This book was okay. A lot of the stories I've heard over and over. My only real complaint was that I found the authors overuse of exclamation points obnoxious. There were a few slip ups in the Holmes write up. Mrs. Holmes (I think it was supposed to be Holt) then in the next sentence it was Hoult. I had to re-read the paragraph a few times. Great read Very engaging and well written. Couldn't put it down. Stories are not drawn out but get straight to the point . Really enjoyed it. Great read Very engaging and well written. Couldn't put it down. Stories are not drawn out but get straight to the point . Really enjoyed it.
