Stars! This is a dual review for the first three books in Ednah Walters Phantom Islanders series. I started with ARC’s for the first two parts, but loved Storm & Storm Revealed so much that I just had to read Storm Unleashed as well. There is so much story told across the three books that you just get immersed in the world that the author has created, the Phantom Islanders live through the Veil, and although they visit our world on occasion to harvest females to take back to the Island of Vaarda. this is done to give the male islanders the opportunity to find a mate, as women are in short supply. It’s on one of these visits to earth that Storm Orath picks up Lexi Greendale’s scent, and once he has her back on the island he makes it his mission to prove to her that she is his one true mate. "I will not obey you. I will fight you every day until you let me go." Initially Lexi is less than impressed with being kidnapped and taken to what is essentially another world, Storm is adamant she’s his true mate and sets about proving to her with his every action, thought and reaction to her attempts to escape, resistance to his charms, and disinterest in getting to know the people of Vaarda. "You may call us pirates, but we prefer the name islanders." As the story moves along it doesn’t take Lexi long to realize that Storm and his people are more than they initially seem, and I absolutely loved each and every second of the adventure of discovery she goes on. "You are breathtaking..." "And you are aggravating." The verbal sparring between the two of them had me giggling, the sweet and endearing bull-in-a-china-shop style Storm uses in trying to woo Lexi had me sighing and giggling like a coquettish maiden in a historical novel and the sexual tension that the author drew out between them over the three books, well I was frustrated for them! "When I claim you as mine, I’ll do it openly and in front of my people." If you haven’t already guessed I will reiterate that I absolutely loved these books. Ednah is an author new to me, and what a discovery! I am lucky to have a wealth of books to read from this author now, but I have to admit, I am dying for more from this series, with so many characters and backgrounds to delve into, I have a feeling this is a series I will be reading eagerly for years to come. "We belong together." ARCs for books 1 & 2 provided via the New Adult Book Club in exchange for the above honest review.

It was an enjoyable read however, I had a lot of questions that were left unanswered. Almost sounds like there could be a 4th book but it said "the end" whereas the others said, "to be continued". Lexi didn't change at all which I loved. She was still feisty, loving and smart. She thought of others, like Storm's mom and the guards who were undercover fighting against King A**wipe instead of escaping. So, the questions I want to know are what happened to the human girls? She thought of others, like Storm's mom and the guards who were undercover fighting against King A**wipe instead of escaping. So, the questions I want to know are what happened to the human girls? Are they going to stop kidnapping them and forcing them to mate? What about where or who Lexi's mom is? Who is the traitor on their island?? What about the Oracle??!! Where did she go?? Some other questions but those were the main ones that bugged me they didn't get answered. I actually would have liked to see more of the island, that was under King Tullius. It seemed that once Storm rescued Lexi and his mom he couldn't wait to get out of there. I understand that Lord Conyngham had his resistance army there but I would have enjoyed reading more of that. And how, once King Tullius got an arrow in his back (by Lexi) and was taken by the Morgens, did the magic of the evil spell he held over the people disappear?? What about Tully, Storm's brother? He was under the King's spell. Is he now good? The book was good but I feel a little letdown. Instead of 4 or 5 pages at the end of Storm and Lexi finally having sex (eyes rolling), I would have much rather read about the islands and the people. An epilogue would have been nice too.

Not bad I wasn't as happy with this one as I was the first 2. You can tell it was rushed through by the editor . . . Lots of typos and sentences that just didn't make sense. That being said, it still had all the action that I enjoyed in the first 2 and the story was great, but the love scenes were awkward. All in all not a bad read. It is perfect combination of love and action. Lexi and Storm have surpassed my expectations in this book. I love the character growth in this entire book. We get to see Lexi going from a shy naive 18 year old girl to a warrior. Plus, she wields bow and arrows. Holy smokes! I guess she is the new Katniss Everdeen. Lexi has so much sass and strength in this entire book. Things start out pretty bad in the beginning. She taken by King Tully and has some pretty horrific things happen. Her strength and love for Storm is amazing. Storm, you always make my heart swoon. Even though his presence is less in the first half of the book I always knew that Storm would come in and save Lexi. Storm is still the same cocky arrogant pirate. But his humility and sweetness is amazing. His love for Lexi OMG! Don’t even get me started. He gets injuries and scars for this girl. Man, I need my own Storm. The overall romance in this novel is extremely gut wrenching and beautiful. The scenes are hot and extremely sweet. Ednah has mastered the art of making a steamy love story amazing filled with actual romance. The ending of this book don’t get me started on it. The love between Storm and Lexi is so powerful. I believe that is has the power to transcend time. The overall plot of this book is just plain amazing. I throughly enjoyed it. It was fast paced and wonderful battle scenes. I felt like I was a Viking Pirate fighting for dear life. Plus, there are some major twists revealed. Lemme just say that those twists are pretty shocking and amazing. Great series Ednah Walters! I fell in love with these series. I just want to write an extra paragraph to honor you. Here it goes: Your words flow from the page, And are a series of letters, Typed or handwritten one by one. I flip one by one through the page, And I take on step at a time, Like walking. The one step at a time, Is how I am sucked in word by word, Into a story, That has me engrossed book by book. Till it is an entire series, That takes over my soul, And makes me blessed to witness and feel your amazing craft. Ednah Walters, I have never met you, But since discovering you in 2015, I have waited eagerly for your books, As you take the next steps in your career, But now devastated, Because I won’t be able to see the next. Rest in peace, May the gods guide your soul, Step by step, And thank you, For guiding my soul, My life, With your work that has, Made me more determined, To live my life, Day by day.

I have loved this series and hands down its one of my favourite set of books. I pretty much fell in love with it from the very first page of Storm part one. So for me this book was bittersweet as I knew that it was the last part of this serial of Storm and Lexi's story, and I just didn't want to let it go. What a cracking ending to the serial it was though. We pick right back up where part two ended and straight into the action. What a cracking ending to the serial it was though. We pick right back up where part two ended and straight into the action. Things don't go as easy as I was expecting them to and there are a few twists and turns thrown in to the story. Lexi is as sassy as ever, and she grows so much more as a character to admire, which you'd hope would happen after all she's gone through. She fights for what is right in this book and she does it using her mind and her wits. There are plenty of moments in this book which made me laugh, but there were also some that got me teary eyed and a few that had me gripping my kindle so tight as I wasn't sure what would happen. This book, and this series, has had me enchanted within its pages. I've found it very hard to put down whilst I've been reading, and I've already re-read books 1 & 2 several times. I now can't wait to read all three books together. Ednah Walters has created a series that's captured my imagination and kept it spinning long after I've put the book down. As someone who started off unsure as to whether she would like the pirate theme, I find that I now can't get enough of it. Whilst sadly this part of Storm and Lexi's story is over, I'm hoping and praying that not only will Ednah Walters write books for each of the other captains, but that we will also get more books for Lexi and Storm. I have fallen head over heels in love with them and their story and I feel that its far from over with more for us still to explore. This is such an easy five star review for me to give, as in case you can't tell from the rest of my review, I floved this book. The only negative for me was the fact that it had to end, and honestly when I did get to the end I kept tapping my kindle trying to turn the page for more. This is a series that I'd recommend to everyone to read, and I actually already do recommend it to everyone. I enjoyed reading this last book and the other two immensely and it's a set that will be forever on my re-read list. Go on, pick it up now and immerse yourself in a world that's full of action, adventure, friendship and love. You won't regret it.

Lexi embarks on her own adventure that helps her to understand the power of her love for Storm and his people. She is forced to choose between her own freedom and the freedom of someone she cares for deeply. Lexi's character development reaches an all-time high for me as she develops into a woman who fights for what she truly wants, including those who need her help. She now understands that she holds a lot of power and responsibility. Although I wish I would have read more about Storm throughout this installment, the ending is precious as he is reunited with Lexi and their love for one another fully blossoms. The plot of this book included a lot of twists and turns that had me constantly turning the page, wondering what was going to happen next. The level of adventure was definitely at its highest point in this installment. I enjoyed the writing of this book, however there were a few monumental moments when Lexi and Storm gave speeches to a large group of people. In those moments, the speeches fell somewhat flat for me. They were underdeveloped in regards to what was happening and where the characters were in their development. They just didn't seem to fit the timing. The editing of Storm Unleashed was somewhat disappointing as I purchased the published copy. There were a few typos that made me stumble as I was reading, but there were no tragic or heavily consistent errors that made it extremely difficult to read. Recommendation: I definitely recommend this to those who have read the first two books. I also recommend this to anyone looking for a novel with a strong heroine, adventure filled plot, and touches of romance.

This was a fitting end to this part of the series. It was full of surprises and excitement, non-stop action, and of course, an undying love. Storm is more than the consummate hero. He's dashing, sexy and has a fierce love and loyalty to those within his care. And when the two come together, the sparks fly and romance takes the stage. And together, they are a force to be reckoned with. This author has an imagination that continues to give us adventures we want to be a part of, and I'm always thrilled when she writes a series that can branch off in directions no one but she can take us. This is one I hope continues for a long time to come.

Much more than parts 1 and 2 in this serial, I found I was able to identify with the heroine, who grows a lot in this book, and being separate from her mate, gives a good view of her personality, qualities and values when she's taken captive at the palace Storm left many years before, and is forced to defend herself from and/or befriend all new characters. The vibe of this book is far more regal and somewhat about power-hungry nobles than pirates, but worry not, the ships, marauding and looting show up, particularly for the grand finale, which is quite epic; the big reveal has emotional family reconnections (and revenge), a big revealing twist about identities, and a big revealing triumph showing Lexi's true heroic, fighting spirit that she claimed to have in part I. Grab this--and parts I and II--if you love pirates, old-timey palaces and villages, and romance (there are some definite explicit scenes).

Okay, this was one hell of a ride! I loved how Ednah created such a beautiful mythical world in this series! Lexi and Storm are my new favorite couple I think the author did a great job with her descriptions of the islands as well as the characters, you could definitely imagine what it was like to live there. Lexi is still a kickass heroine. I would highly recommend all 3 books in this series for those who enjoy an exceptional story.

Storm Unleashed by Ednah Walters appears to be the final book in the story of Storm and Lexi. Hopefully there will be more books in the Phantom Islanders series is all I can say. And what a finale it is. Lexi becomes a strong female and Storm allows her to grow into what she becomes. Storm is am amazing character when he shows what he'd do for the island etc. The book picks up at the end of Storm Revealed and we follow Lexi. Sorry I can't say more because if you haven't read the first two parts Storm Unleashed by Ednah Walters appears to be the final book in the story of Storm and Lexi. So how does an author write a book about modern day pirates that has the feel of a paranormal romance? In the third installment of the series, Ms. Walters leads the reader on an adventure with unexpected humor and plot twists. I love the complexity of the characters. Lexi is determined to return to Storm. Even when things look bleak, Lexi never gives up. The vivid descriptions of the world and the action, pull the reader in. I could not put the book down, even had I wanted to (I didn't want to). So how does an author write a book about modern day pirates that has the feel of a paranormal romance? Phenomenal!!! This was part 3 of an amazing story!!! I absolutely loved it from start to finish. I believe Lexi was a true hero in this series. Storm and Lexi fit so well together, soulmates for sure. Oh and the chemistry between them is HOT!!! I loved everything about this book and series. This is a fictitious story that depicts the nature of pirates and mythical creatures so please keep in mind this is just a story. I hope anyone who chooses to read it enjoys it as much as I did.

I absolutely loved the book actually I love the whole series! Ednah is a mastermind when she creates these worlds that can draw you in and make you never want to leave. I love to read and if a book can't draw me in within the first 2 chapters I don't bother reading it. Yet with every book of Ednah's I absolutely can't put them down. By far she is one of the best authors I have read and will continue to do so. I absolutely loved the book actually I love the whole series!
