Having not delved too deeply into the world of Marvel, I'm not familiar with Hydra, one of Wolverine's nemesis. I guess these are the weak minded cult followers who live and die to say "Hail Hydra! Cut off one limb and two more shall grow.". I enjoyed this one shot. I'm a fan of Wolverine. The premise of the story was simple but engaging. Wolverine is blinded by a fire and saves a nice, normal nuclear family of 3. Together, they work to stop Hydra and its nefarious experiment. The pacing was good. The art fit extremely well with the dialogue. The editing was excellent! All together, one of the better one shots I've read lately. A fun and pleasant diversion from the drudgery of normal human life. lol The last story places Logan in a situation with no good options. In "Little White Lies", a short at the end, Logan is tasked with rescuing a boy kidnapped by a pseudo cartel clown cult, which specializes in kidnaping, drug dealing and manufacturing. Straight to the point. Solid 3- 4 stars with this story.

What a good, solid, stand-alone Wolverine story. Fast paced, witty and fun. Good art too. Very good.
