The Perfect Gift (Three Wise Men Book 1) This entertaining first book in a Christmas trilogy featuring three billionaire brothers starts out with the story of widowed Dr. Brock King and single mother Erin Bloom. Erin and Brock have gotten to know one another online through an asthma chat forum, are intrigued by one another and entranced when they finally meet. Erin has had a lot to learn and cope with over the years and is a bit leery of starting a relationship. Brock has been grieving for his wife, Fleur, and is not sure he is absolutely ready to move on. Brock is a hunk, genuinely nice, great in bed, affirming, giving and just about everything any woman in her right mind would want. Erin’s son Ryan is a sweetie. Brock’s brothers are given enough character development and input in this book for me to want to read their stories, too. (4 Stars) Seducing Summer (The Four Seasons Book 1) Four friends representing the four seasons work together, thrive together and are all, no doubt, going to find their happily ever after in this wonderful new series by Serenity Woods. Callie and Gene…what can I say... Callie is smart, quick, entertaining, unafraid of expressing what she wants and so much more than first glance might lead you to believe. Gene is handsome, controlled, professional and deadly but also very warm, loving and caring. The two have chemistry from the beginning and oh what a delightful read this book was! I enjoyed reading about New Zealand and would love to one day make a visit and since it is unlikely I will be able to do so it was nice to be able to escape not only into a steamy romance but to an exotic entrancing sounding location, too. (5 Stars) Treat with Caution (Treats to Tempt You Book 1) Looking forward to reading this book :) My Christmas Fiancé (Love Comes Later Book 1) Eager to read this new series by Serenity Woods I was thankful to receive an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Katoa, a flourishing tech company, is making big money and has an emphasis on creating devices for the visually impaired. One of the owners is blind and this has created impetus for their focus. The story mentions medical issues such as retinoblastoma, heterochromia and pulmonary embolism - all three have impacted people in the story. In this, the first book of the series, we meet Stratton Parker and Meg Brown. Meg has a 13 year old son, has been working for Katoa as a PA for 4 months and has a crush on Stratton – and he has one on her. One fateful day an e-mail is sent out that changes their status and begins the journey to a potentially HEA ending. There are two exes to deal with, bonding to be done between Oscar (the son) and Strat, warm suggestive chats in the evening, a gala to attend and some getting to know one another to be done before their instant attraction – delayed four months – can come to fruition. Stratton was a wonderful book boyfriend. Meg was a woman with the strength to make a move that needed to be made. The two of them together were interesting enough to make me smile and care about them and their story made for a wonderful day of reading. I look forward to continuing the series with book two about Rich and book three about Teddi – the other co-owners of Katoa – hopefully they will be released soon. (4.5 Stars) Stranded with a Scotsman (Bonus Short Story) Looking forward to reading this story :)

Finding Love Box Set by Serenity Woods is a collection of the first book in four of her series with one bonus story. Three of the four series I have read completely, finding each one a special treat. Giving a new reader a taste of each of the series is a marvelous way for them to try out Serenity Woods style of writing as well as getting to know the characters in each series. I do want to be clear that each story in this box set is a complete story, not just an introduction. However, this box set is where I would want to start since all the characters are introduced in the first books for each of the series that I have read. From there the brothers or friends receive their own story in the books that follow. Reviews follow for the three books I have read. The Perfect Gift (Three Wise Men) is the first of three billionaire brothers’ stories. Serenity has a well-written story that bring the characters and their lives in New Zealand to life. I loved how this series borrowed it name somewhat from the charity website, We Three Kings that is part of the brothers’ business. These three may not know of Warren Buffet’s millionaire club but they certainly have the same philosophy. This is a marvelous start to the series. Early on, the first chapter to be exact, the reader meets Brock’s brothers. Matt and Charlie who contact Brock on the second anniversary of his wife’s death to give support and comfort male style. It is time for him to live and love again but it is not without some bump in the road as he falls for single mother Erin, then works to win her over. Seducing Summer (Four Seasons) starts off that series in stellar fashion. I didn’t think I would love a series by Serenity Woods any more than I did Three Wise Men but this author continues to amaze me. This introductive books set up a high standard for the next three book in this series of best friends finding true love. It also gives us the background on how the series is name as well as the major characters. This book concerns Summer the bright cheerful but stubborn character whose personality well reflects the season. Despite her easy going way, she is in danger so a bit of deception is on order to keep her safe. There is suspense in this book along with the romance making it a first-rate story. The switch of traditional roles in the beginning interactions between Summer and Gene gets my applauds too! The characters are lively, humorous and authentic, even in the mist of family turmoil and threats. Without a doubt, My Christmas Fiancé (Love Comes Later) has become my new favorite. It was difficult not to fall for Stratton Parker a little myself. Like Oscar, Meg’s son (out of the mouths of babes or teenagers in this case), I wanted Meg to ‘fess up too. I was invested in this story as soon as Stratton spilled his coffee. The descriptive writing let me see New Zealand and the way of life that that while is not too different from the US, it still made me feel as if I had taken a vacation to the Auckland. The descriptions do not stop with the setting but make the characters come alive. Of course, I loved the reference to Inspector Morse. It is these added touches that take the book from very good to exceptional.

The Perfect Gift - 5* Brock is such a gentleman and oh, so swoon worthy! Brock is rich, generous with his time, money and medical skills, handsome, loyal (having mourned his wife for the past 2 years), kind to children and animals. In fact too perfect to be true, but then he is a book hero so is allowed to be! Erin is a young, strap-cashed, beautiful single mother with an adorable three year old, who suffers from asthma. Although they have chatted online through The Three Kings Foundation websit The Perfect Gift - 5* Brock is such a gentleman and oh, so swoon worthy! Although they have chatted online through The Three Kings Foundation website (set up by the three King brothers to grant the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses and to provide a 24hr helpline to parents) they don't meet in person until they have been corresponding for a year. Within 24 hours of knowing her in person, Brock knows he wants to marry her and spend the remainder of his life with her but he knows that Erin has been hurt in the past, has trust issues and that his wealth is a huge barrier; and so he sets out to woo her through the month of Dec. Seducing Summer - 4.5* Great plot with engaging characters. Although part of a series of interlocked stories about four friends who own a lingerie shop called Four Seasons, this is a standalone book. I loved how feisty Callie was and how she could deduce things about others by sheer observation (very Sherlock Holmes), I loved the friendship between the girls and the heat between Gene and Callie. Felt this was a very well put together novel with a great plot. Note: Strong language. My Christmas Fiancé - 4.5*. I was hooked from the very first page. I liked the working relationship between the H and H and how the sexual tension grew, once they admitted they were attracted to each other. Each chapter is told from the others POV and this really worked well in moving the story along. This is only the 2nd book I have read told from a dual perspective and it was far superior in that it didn't feel jarring when you switched to the other POV. It was also good to have a story where both individuals are over 30. I found their back stories interesting and I loved Meg's 13 year old son and his relationship with her. In addition I was introduced to the musician John Mayer's music. Note: Strong language. Stranded with a Scotsman - 4* Sweet little novella about two people stranded in a hut between Lindisfarne Island and the mainland, playing truth and dare. Would have loved it to be longer, Treat with Caution - 4* Tasha and Kole have been known each other for 11 years, since his younger sister and her became best friends aged 13 and they have teased and taunted each other for years. Tasha is annoyed with Kole, they both want to lease the same shop for their businesses but Kole got in first and refuses to budge. During the slanging match, which becomes personal, Tasha says that he would fall for her before she would ever fall for him, things escalate and a bet is born that who ever falls for the other (to be judged by their friends) in the next 8 days will win the shop. What follows is sex, sex and more sex. Note: Strong language. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Serenity Woods has become one of my favorite authors. Yes, our main characters have HEA's. Within a series we get to revisit friends and family throughout the books. Couldn't be better! So often bundled stories are a mixed bag much like the variety packs found at Costco-- there are two flavors you know you'll love, one that you don't mind trying, and two that will be a waste. Not so with Mrs. Woods's Finding Love compilation. Everyone of these stories is a gem. They're all complete stories with HEAs, so no cliffhangers, but we were introduced to so many other characters along the way. I want to know their stories as well. My Christmas Fiance This is a great start to a new series. Stratton and Meg both find that using the pretense of a fake fiance will help with the problem they have with their ex's. They had great chemistry, and their conversations were witty and fun. I liked the way Stratton and Meg's son, Oscar interacted. There was just enough about the crazy ex-partners, Natalie and Bruce, to make the book interesting without having to deal with ongoing angst. I'm looking forward to other books in the series. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review A Perfect Gift I'm a sucker for a romance involving a good guy who is willing to have a relationship with a woman with a child or children. This book was sweet, heartwarming, and sexy. Although children's health issues were involved, they didn't weigh the book down with sadness. It took a very optimistic, proactive view. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Seducing Summer Seducing Summer: A Sexy New Zealand Romance (The Four Seasons Book 1) I really liked Callie and Gene together. They had a light, fun, teasing relationship. The sexual tension built as they tried to work out whether they would take that first step or not. Gene was hesitant because he was supposed to be protecting Callie from a threat. Sallie was hesitant, albeit less than Gene, because it was unprofessional. There was romance, a bit of mystery, and some action. All together, this was an enjoyable read. I also enjoyed Callie's friendship with the other "seasons". I am looking forward to Rowan's book.

What I am going to tell you about was the Perfect Gift first book of The Three Wise Men which, was a Christmas set but, can be read at any time! It's about three brothers and three girls and their romance The brothers own a company that specializes in helping kids with respiratory conditions. All of the brothers are involved and Brock is the Dr. who specializes in respiratory, Charlie is a Dr. also, an inventor and Matt is the artist. A very tender, loving story!
