A great story about finding out what makes you happy is not at all what you thought or expected would make you happy. Instead, it was a process...one where Nikola is determined to help Colton's dreams come true and unknowingly her own dreams. This book is by far the definition of a romantic comedy! You will spend time laughing at and with the characters as you read their story. If you're looking to cry over a book and not from sadness than this book is perfect for you! Highly recommended!

4.5 stars. Off The Grid is a very romantic, humor filled story of discovery, sacrifice and love. Nik was on the verge of losing it all which including a large inheritance. Out of options she decided to go off the grid and try to figure out what to do with her life. Could a small cabin, a fluffy dog named Bo and a sexy landlord named Colton be all that she needs to be happy? She was willing to sacrifice everything to find out. I loved the premise of this story. Kelly has such a great way of bringing that to the reader. In this case I also loved that it was about living green and off the grid. Nik was pretty feisty and I loved that about her, although her inner dialogue at times made me want to say enough already. But once she met the challenge aka Colton, lines were drawn and Nik was totally in the game. Colton, well wow! What can I say about this man? Other than he was an a** there for a while and I wanted to bury him in the garden, he totally warmed up. And when the rubber hit the road Nikola was in it for the long run. She really poured herself into making Colton's dream and business a success. And then, Kelly has Colton blow a nut because apparently his filter wasn't working and Nik ghosts on him. I applauded that one. Sad as it was, I would have flown that coop too. Ahhh but then things happen and you know, you never know how a story is going to end until the very last sentence. So you have to read this book!! I loved it. Thank you Kelly!! What a great story!

Once again Kelly Collins has managed to bring me to tears, this time however it was through laughter, she has an amazing talent at developing character’s that you can’t help but love. Colton Becket is trying to make his green life work, he plans to work hard to make it all work, and hard he does. Barter hard that is. This is an over 18’s novel, so it is hot and heavy, but there is also a side we don’t see in this genre of books, and that’s green living. Kelly Collins has brought a different side of life alive to a different audience.

With a smile on my face and good feelings in my heart, I reached The End. What a great story-line. It’s timely in living “off the grid” with solar, rain barrels and home gardens. Now, where and how would she buy her Pop- Tarts for morning breakfast? I loved this book from page one and thank the author for the ARC so I could enjoy it early. BTW, I could live in that cabin!

I do love the Hell Yeah series. This one is worth your time and effort. I can say that any stories that are connected with Sable Hunter/Rebecca Schaefer are in for a great story and I wasn't disappointed with this one. FROM RICH TO POOR Sort of a fairy tale romance and adventure. Rich girl leaves home to find herself and become self sufficient. Meets not who left his riches to live off the grid. Romance develops. This story read a little stiff but ended up being somewhat entertaining

This is a great story about living off the grid. Honestly though, they don't really live off the grid. They live on solar energy and windmills. Nikola finds that she is more than a trust fund baby and Colton finds a fiery woman who ignites his fire and stole his dog's affections. This is a great story about living off the grid. Off the Grid is a story that will make your heart flutter and give you the warmest tingles. I swear this book totally made me so happy that I was simply swept away by the magic of the story. It was a simple and cute romance but it still packed a punch on the emotions. I was a mess while reading this book. It was not overly cheesy but it held such light undertones that got through my skin. I fell in love with the story so much. Off the Grid was a story about young woman trying to find her meaning in life. As humans we go through that a lot. We all want to find our selves and how we fit in life. We all struggle day by day to find who we are. I felt that this story I could totally relate to a lot. Off the Grid is totally a light and addictive read that wraps you up and just make you feel good. It made me feel good. In Off the Grid, we are introduced to two characters from two different worlds. Nikola, a rich girl and Colton an energy farmer who definitely put the word that opposites do attract. They had that real and honest chemistry that I could not get enough. It was so infectious that I found myself smiling from ear to ear. Nikola was a funny, beautiful, caring and spunky girl. I totally related to her and she made me smile. At first I did not like Colton because he was an ass sometimes but he later grew on me when he started to care, I loved that. Off the Grid was certainly an amazing book to read. I was so floored by the book. I cannot wait what Kelly Collins writes next.

Colton Becket owns the cabin that Nik is living in and wants to be able to live off the land in a self-sustaining way. His goal is to help build a solar farm to help his town with a reusable energy source but he is struggling with the financing part of the deal. As Colton and Nik become friends and then more than friends will Nik figure out what is most important to her in time? Also will the decisions that she make cause her to lose Colton and her inheritance? This was a great book about love and the dreams we have. It was funny to see how Nik adapted to her new life but I loved how determined she was to be successful although it was completely out of her element. She was out there learning as much as she could about gardening as she wanted to prove to herself that she could do it. Colton was great as well and I loved learning about how he grew up and what he was up against in doing what he wanted for his own life and not following the family plan. He was just as determined as Nik was to do things on his own but knew he needed financial help. I loved the scene where Colton came back early from vacation. I thought it was super funny that Bo didn't know who he was. I wasn't surprised in a way how Nik got the money for Colton but I felt bad that she didn't talk to him ahead of time. She lost a lot through that decision even though she did it for the right reason. Such a great book!!

She decides to live in a self-sustaining cabin in order to think and reassess her life. >Colton is the landlord of the cabin in the middle of nowhere, Texas. He is a little hard on Nik, at first. He doesn’t realize she is famous. There was a lot of humor, Green Acres-style, watching Nik read books to try and plant a garden and live without internet. When her hair extensions started to fall out and Colton thought she was molting, I laughed aloud. >The relationship with Colton and Nik happened quickly. I guess living so close and being the only company could cause the attraction. Nik was a lot less helpless than she could have been. She was a good cook and was willing to listen to advice on the garden in order to succeed. Her friend, Max, was a fairly useless side character. The only purpose he had was as a sounding board for Nik and a source of jealousy for Colton. >This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 4 stars. The story was quirky and cute.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I knew it would end well (hello... Romance, HEA..) but i really liked Nik more than i thought i would. I loved that of she didn't know something she bought books to read about it or asked someone. I was happy that she seemed like such a capable female and was content to manage on her own. Just call me Malta. This book, as all of Kelly's books are, was a breath of fresh air. I think we can all relate to wanting to figure out who we really are at some point in our lives. And that is what this book is about. We walk with Nik as she comes to realize who she is and what's she's made of. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. This book is still for adults 18+ but has a full storyline you can enjoy and appreciate. I will recommend this book to all my romance readers. Just call me Malta.
