I enjoyed this book even more than the first in this series. This is an adventurous story of bravery, failure, victory, sadness, betrayal, friendship, success and growth is filled with surprises and danger. This book stands on the shoulders of the first book and takes the reader to new heights as we follow the journey of the Dunamai. This story captures your imagination and emotions and holds on to them until the very last page. I highly recommend it to anyone. I was just so good! The next installment in The Arlon Prophecies. This book picks up right where Book 1 left off. The group of Dunamai are on the run, trying to quickly and quietly reach Alaithia, without attracting the attention of the final Dread Guardian. Scene after scene they find themselves against ever greater odds. This story is full of twists that keep the reader on the edge of his seat and wanting more. McWilson's cliffhanger writing style leaves you longing for the next chapter and book. The Dragon Wrath The next installment in The Arlon Prophecies. This book picks up right where Book 1 left off. The Dunamai fled from the Order in The Dragon Offering, the first book in this series. Now they are trying to make it to Alathia, to safety. The group takes on two new travelers, but at times they wonder about the new recruits’ true intentions. All the while, the dragon, Terras Telos, is relentlessly in pursuit. The group continues, but making it to Alathia will come with a cost...possibly more than one. A truly fascinating story for all ages. The characters are easy to love and relate to. Better than I thought Suspenseful, well written a different take on dragons. It took awhile to get the flow of the story line but hang with it and you'll get it. I really enjoyed book one of this series and book two is even better. Unfortunately, books three and four aren't out yet. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next books when they come out. I just hope it's not too long of a wait. I really enjoyed book one of this series and book two is even better.
