    This book was required reading for part of the masters program that I am in and I found it helpful and easy to understand. Much goes into planning a curriculum and it does not happen overnight. Collaboration and research is key!

That being said, this book includes a thorough overview of the various components that one should consider in the design of a curriculum--whether it be class-level, program-level, college-level, etc. This comprehensive work draws on the authors' research, as well as a large body of research from education and other fields of study and practice.
