I'm looking for an eighteen-year-old spoiled brat in the middle of a blizzard. It's not really how I pictured my winter break from college, that's for sure. Harper Lawson was a brat as a child, and she's never really grown up as far as I'm concerned. Running away from her wealthy parents' home just goes to prove she's still the immature female I knew when I was a kid. But when I finally find Harper in a homeless shelter, she turns my world upside down. She's not at all what I expected, and when two of us are stranded together overnight in a rundown motel, everything I thought was true suddenly becomes false. Unfortunately, when we're able to get home on Christmas, everything changes. Harper is gone again, and I'm forced to leave her with the idea that she gave her virginity to the wrong guy. But I'll wait, even if takes forever for me to find her. Eventually, she'll understand that what we had was my idea of a Christmas miracle. Little did I know that it would take over a decade before we met again........

I just couldn't believe the love at first sight thingie and Harper changing her attitude overnight.. I thought it was unbelievable. Nevertheless, the whole story sent tingle to my nerves. Hmm, hmm. O. M. G... Do I really need to wait for January 2017 to read the outcome of this sooooo intriguing prelude to Blake Colter's book? Omg.. The suspense is really killing me. J. S. Scott really knows how to tease!

This is a prelude to the Billionaire Unknown - Blake series apart of the Billionaire's Obsession series Meet the young, idealistic and sexy Blake Colter. I'm volunteering to look for an eighteen-year-old spoiled brat, yes in the middle of a horrible blizzard. It's not really how I wanted or pictured my winter break from college, that is one thing for sure. I am looking for Harper Lawson. Harper was a spoilt brat as a child and the thing is that Harper's never really grown up. That's just my opinion. Harper decides to run away from her wealthy parents' home just to cause more drama and it goes to prove she's still the immature bratty female I knew when I was a kid. However when I finally find Harper, which is in a homeless shelter. Harper suddenly turns my world totally upside down. Harper's not at all what I expected at all. When the two of us are stranded together overnight in a shabby and very rundown motel. Everything I thought was true about Harper suddenly becomes false. Harper has changed since I saw her last. So many years have gone by without us ever seeing each other. However when we meet again, the sparks fly and the sheets set on fire. Harper tries and succeeds and turns my whole world upside down on one very snowy Christmas Eve. Sadly however when we're able to get home at Christmas; everything changes, Haper changes. Harper has gone once again. However I'm forced to leave Harper with the idea that she gave her virginity to the wrong guy. She thinks she gave her virginity to my twin Marcus. Now I'll wait for her. That means even if takes forever for me to find Harper again. Eventually, I'll get Harper understand that what we had between us was my idea of a Christmas miracle. Can I get Harper to see me in a slightly different way to my identical twin brother Marcus? I guess that I'll have to wait to find the answers that I'm looking for. Little did I know that it would take over a decade before we met again... I love J.S Scott her books are brilliant and I could do with more than 5*s

In a classic case of mistaken identity, Blake Colter is tasked to find family friend Harper, a rich, spoiled brat, who has just been cut off from her finances and runs away right before Christmas. Once Blake locates Harper in a Denver Women's Homeless Shelter, they are forced to stay at a cheap motel in the area instead of returning home due to a snow storm. Despite having grown up together, Blake was never very fond of the mean spirited, bitchy, self-entitled Harper, so he's not only shocked to find himself attracted to the now legal Harper, but that Harper is attracted to him, too. After a night of rolling in the hay, Harpers first time, Blake wants to continue seeing Harper. Until he drops her off at home the next day, and she calls him Marcus, his identical twin brothers name. Unable to correct her right away, Blake thinks nothing of it, but the following day, Harper sees Marcus in town with his girlfriend. Harper feels betrayed, and when Blake finally goes to her house days later, doesn't understand why she doesn't want to ever see him again. This is a prequel novella to the larger novel-length story about Blake that will be published soon. While this was a great lead in, I didn't quite buy the spoiled heiress suddenly seeing the error of her ways after spending a few nights on the street and getting to know one family who truly was homeless. I also didn't buy Blake's sudden about face from disliking Harper, and everything she was and stood for, to wanting to basically spend the rest of his life with her. I'm hoping in the full length story, the characters change in attitude is explained, but even if it's not, this was a hot little preview of what will surely be an explosive story.

This prequel is an interesting start to what I think will be a great series. It's also the first J.S. Scott book I can recall reading. I was a little surprised by the insta-lust/insta soul-mating as I like to call it, especially since this was mostly told from the male pov (Blake), but I got over it. Eighteen-year-old Harper Lawson was a teenager with an attitude. Born with the proverbial silver spoon in her mouth, Harper wanted for nothing. As the younger of the two Lawson girls, she lived in the lap of luxury that comes from living in a wealthy (actually decadently rich would be a better description) and it made her blind to the world around her. Unlike her older sister, Danica, she was happy to do nothing and continue along the carefree path she had always traveled. After graduating high school, she had no desire to attend college or, for that matter, do anything constructive with her future. Too late, her parents realized that they had spoiled their little girl and the only solution is to cut her off. They took her credit cards, new car, and the ability to carry on as before. In protest, she leaves her family home and travels to Denver, Colorado. After months of silence and worry, her parents hear that she is living a vagrant’s existence in Denver. They ask a son of long-time friends to go there and try to find her; it was Christmas Eve and the roads outside the city are all but impassible. Blake Colter gets a room and immediately searches the homeless shelters for the missing girl. He finds her and offers his aid. This is the Prelude to Billionaire Unknown – Blake. It serves well as a light entrée to what will eventually come. It provides a tasty literary morsel to whet the reader’s lips for the series to come. I thought it was a shallow concept with little to offer. Much to do about nothing as Blake’s silence and inactions serve only to compound a simple misunderstanding. Harper is also to blame for reacting only to her first reactions and impressions. I hope the series proves better than the prelude.

This was a great start for these two...only thing I had irritations about was the fact that Harper has known the Colter family since she was little yet she didn't question the fact that it COULD have been Blake and NOT Marcus she was with?!? She had to have known they were twins so why automatically assume it was one and not the other. I can't wait to see how this turns out though...so the release isn't coming fast enough. Its Blake not Marcus Harper ran away from home and was found by Blake Colter. Harper gave her virginity to Blake then when she made it home, she wished Marcus a Merry Christmas, but it was Blake. Something happened to cause them to be apart for 12 years. The next story will explain what happened..

This is the beginning of Blake and Harper's story, with the rest to be told in the next book. This is a hit for a prequel, I can say I am glad I got it. It just gives you enough history that you will know what's happening in the next book. It's a short, enjoyable read. Short read I seem to only pick up this authors books when they are going free, but I always know that they are going to be a short and really enjoyable read. This story is a prelude to a future book/series and sets the seen to peek your interest. Its a short heart felt read, with a mixture of temptation and confusion.

A short teaser introduction into Blake's story, only short and to be honest this is at the beginning of Billionaire Unknown Blake's book. It is enough to get you wanting more which is good, I actually went straight into the main book from reading this and if I had realised this was at the beginning I probably wouldn't have got this and just waited for the main event. As a teaser though it certainly does the job, it gives you just enough and leaves you hanging. Great novella! This is The Billionaire’s Christmas Virgin: Prelude To Billionaire Unknown written by JS Scott. I enjoyed this little short story. We get a more in depth understanding of what actually occurred on that Christmas twelve years ago when Harper was found by Blake. I can imagine that this is one time when you don’t want to be confused with your twin brother....on to the next book!

A very short story with only 27 pages but I wanted to read a Christmas book. It's a prelude to a story within a series. I really enjoyed it and it made me want to read the next book however, I'm one of those people that like to read a series from the beginning so I may go back and read book 1. I'm not sure.
