This book is full of Christmas short stories by various authors. Some of the stories were enjoyable others not so much for me. But on the whole quite an interesting collection.

Because one of my short stories is in this collection, I can't really review it. However, I am humbled to have been picked to have my story published beside such talented authors! I wrote my story (the Sugar Plum Fairy's Rescue) for my Grandma, who loves fairies (and has done for as long as I can remember!) and wanted me to "write something completely happy" for a change (though I do believe my others are happy too!) Terrific Christmas short stories This book is full of Christmas short stories by various authors from various genres. Its purpose is showing house some stories can be read in the flash when the person has a few minutes like 5 or less to escape the humdrum the everyday life. "Christmas In Love: A Flash Fiction Anthology" edited by George Donnelly is the best Christmas-themed book I have read this season. This collection of flash fiction includes a range of genres from uniquely talented authors. A UNIQUE FLASH OF YULE TIDE TALES I only gave a 4 STAR RATING to this Flash Anthology, because for me several stories I felt had at least another page needed to complete them. The stories were all from a different area of taste so this would be a great Coffee Table book around the holidays. Some of the stories just seemed lacking to me, other than that, the book was well worth the read.

Different This short story anthology was interesting, and very different. I felt some of the stories, though good, were unfinished and left something out. Perhaps a satisfactory ending. I followed some links, hoping for more of the same, with endings, so we shall see. The 4 is for the stories I HATED.

I enjoyed all of the stories in this collection. Even the on labeled “Horror” was just a silly alt-Santa story. Only one, the one labeled “Apocalyptic Romance” (about ‘Angel Dust’) was confusing & not romantic.

Very interesting There was a good range of stories in this anthology that would suit all readers . A lot left you considering what would happen next which I enjoyed as a good reading challenge .

Cute, quick reads to introduce you to new authors. The stories vary from really good to confusing, and the genres are not necessarily what I read, but this was a fun, fast read for the Christmas season.

These were a collection of different short stories. I enjoyed reading them, even though some were strange. Why did it take me so long to get through it? I had found other books to read, and put this aside since it wasn't one complete book. These were a collection of different short stories. I enjoyed reading them, even though some were strange. A happy, sad, crazy and confusing collection of stories that will make you smile, laugh and occasionally cry. There are stories for all people in many different genres a great sampler to give everyone a chance to find a new genre to enjoy or a new author to enjoy. Some stories are definitely built better than others with more amazing characters as well as more fluid stories. A definitive and different take on Christmas stories.

I'll be home for Christmas Damnnn didn't expect that a short story like this could be that heartbreaking. Like it is really really short but it was so enjoyable. Now I'm sad for that poor world war 2 soldier. And even after a few days I'm still thinking about this one. The Christmas package Cute idea but I didn't really feel anything for the characters. Green Christmas I'm so confused by this story. Like what?? Should have expected it though but it was so very random. Mistletoe Okay, this was predictable and cliche as fuck but secretly it was cute too. The best gift Wtf was this shit show **yes I'm quoting crazy ex-girlfriend** Just Marie And once again I'm left confused by a story. Literally what was the point of this one? Nothing I guess. Had me like ???? The wrong idea This was supposed to be a mystery? DOES THE WRITER EVEN KNOW WHAT THE WORD MYSTERY MEANS. This story was nowhere near the mystery genre. And once again I didn't care. The sugar plum fairy rescue I couldn't take this one seriously. So bad and so childish. Also it wasn't even that Christmasy. Only the name of the main character was Christmas related. Christmas rose? Why? Entertaining unawares ????? ?????? ??????? I don't even know what to say anymore, maybe WTF or what a Christmasy story *sarcastic*. Ice bridge Didn't care and thought it was weird. Naughty or nice This story had me like??? I also didn't appreciate how they butchered Greek mythology and like Santa Clause. Like why? All the other fantasy and science fiction stories I didn't care about and absolutely hated. So I didn't bother with writing short reviews for those, because all my thoughts and opinions were very similar and it became very repetitive. Blood song I was pretty hyped and interested in this story but it also ended up being an ridiculous shitshow. I obviously don't recommend that you read this collection and I'm sincerely regretting my decision for wanting to read this. Free Christmas ebooks are my kryptonite.

Normally, I’m not one to read Christmas stories or novels, let alone go into one willingly, knowing that’s what its main theme was. I even perhaps tend to avoid them because it isn’t really my cup of tea or what I usually find interesting. However, this anthology went way beyond my expectations and I absolutely loved it. All stories were great in their own unique way, though, as usual when it comes to flash fiction, there were some I felt that there needed to be another page or two in order to feel satisfied with its length and storyline. What also appealed to me was that while this is a Christmas-Romance-themed anthology, there was a huge variety of genres that were intertwined with some of them, such as historical, mystery, fantasy (both children's and paranormal), science fiction, apocalyptic, steampunk, and horror. It made each story feel more special to me in a way, especially seeing how one can put a twist on the classic Christmas-Romance genre or category with simply using another, even polar opposite, genre that isn’t usually used or seen when you think of a Christmas romance novel.
