Allow sufficient time to finish the story once you begin reading. Heartfelt is just one word to describe this compelling story.

Travelling through BC takes on a very different hue after reading this realistic fiction work by Wallace. The possibility of events depicted clearly in this novel create the opportunity for this future reality to be seen in present day communities. The characters demonstrate strong resiliency in their search for family and belonging. Wallace does an excellent job of revealing the power of working together in the face of impossible circumstances; an excellent survival novel for adolescents who ca Travelling through BC takes on a very different hue after reading this realistic fiction work by Wallace. I purchased this from Amazon, used. I'm really glad I didn't pay the full, overpriced, amount that it goes for new. I was very disappointed in the quality of the writing. It's abysmal. It's as if the author wrote his first draft and then sent it on without giving it a second glance. And the editing de I purchased this from Amazon, used. And the editing department at his chosen publisher, well, I'd guess that they didn't bother reading it either. Not worth the money. The other reviews on Goodreads and Amazon (I think there are only four of them) are glowing, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why.
