very enjoyable I enjoy well written books. When the author can use words to get my imagination going and making me feel I'm right there with the characters hearing and seeing it they have done a great job! This collection only received a four star due to one book in this collection. I have no use for the author as their stories are worse than dime novels. Many of the stories I have read before, yet enjoyed them again. This is a good collection for a rainy day or quiet evening. Yes, I would recomm very enjoyable I enjoy well written books. my opinion of these stories most of the stories were pretty entertaining, but i like westerns so i guess that I`m sort of one sided when it comes to western writing. all in all some good reading. my opinion of these stories most of the stories were pretty entertaining, but i like westerns so i guess that I`m sort of one sided when it comes to western writing. all in all some good reading.

Disappointing!! Maybe my expectations are unreasonable, but I expect men as talented as these to use a proofreader to clean up the many, many grammatical errors, misspellings, and sentence fragments before unleashing this wonderful collection on the public. Content-,wise, this was a 5+ star offering, but the numerous errors brought it down to a mere 2 star. I'd still recommend this collection of brilliant stories, but just be forewarned of the abundance of mistakes. Disappointing!! Ten completely different old western style stories. Sure, as one reviewer pointed out, there were a few spelling and grammar issues that editing missed but loved the stories and will read them again in years to come. The collection introduced me to authors with whom I plan to become better acquainted.
Frank James –
A wonderful compiling of Western novels! Some really good reading here. From the first to the last. There is not a one that is not worth reading. I really enjoyed this set. Good job!
Bob Downton –
If you like a good western, you will love all of these. Each has its own theme and all are pacy, action packed from start to finish. If you fancy something different, these 10 books are a great way to start.

All were very good reads. Ten very good stories. I recommend all ten authors. I got sidetracked reading some of their other books as I made my way through all ten books.
