His time in captivity has really done a number on him. After everything he endured, it is nothing short of a miracle that he managed to survive...and surviving is exactly what he's doing, no more. When Dre seeks closure, she never imagined that she'd find Preppy alive. So much for saying "goodbye" and making her peace. She is immediately taken back to their time together, even if she'd rather forget the heartache that he left her with. As Preppy begins to heal physically, he is plagued by the psychological after-effects of the torture. While all of his closest friends want him to face his issues, he wants nothing more than to escape from the pain. He loses himself in drugs and alcohol, racing to the bottom. The only time that Preppy is able to find any peace is when he is with Dre. She has a calming affect on him. Despite the pain he's caused her, she still can't seem to give up on him. She does her best to keep him at arms-length, but as always, he manages to creep into her heart. At times, I did find myself scratching my head over details related to the timeline of some events. It just didn't seem to add up for me, but I could have been mis-reading something. At one point, Preppy's captivity is said to have been for a few months. Yet at other points in the story, it was implied that he didn't know about the kids that Doe and King had. He was also clueless to the fact that Bear had entered into a serious relationship and Thia was now "huge" in her pregnancy, which wouldn't happen until the third trimester. So, I was a little confused as to how he could have missed so much if he'd only been away for "months". Again, maybe I mis-read something along the way. I'll have to go back and re-read this at some point to clarify. If you're a fan of this series, like I am, expect to enjoy this book. I have been a big fan of Preppy from the start, so it was hard to meet this broken version of the usually boisterous character that I love so much. However, things are looking up for Preppy. That being said, I continue to be perplexed by the number of typos and grammatical errors that make it into the published versions of this author's works. I'm not sure if there is a big rush to meet deadlines, or what else might be contributing. However, the editing needs some work. Simple mistakes like using the word "your" when the word should be "you're" or typos like "phon" in place of "phone" are sprinkled throughout the book. It was distracting at times and does take away from the story. Given that the story itself is so fantastic, which takes a lot of talent on the part of the author, it is a shame to see basic editing oversights and technicalities mess with it. I'm no grammar expert myself, but there should be a few grammar experts on the team of this best-selling author, in my opinion. Her work is incredible and I hate to see it not live up to it's potential because of such elementary mistakes. Even with the editing oversights, this was a highly enjoyable book. It does end with another cliffhanger, so expect to be waiting anxiously for part 3 of Preppy's story. I will be sure to buy it as soon as it is released.

4 Stars!! He’s back… “You were never a law follower either but I never expected you to not listen to the laws of nature. You know. Life and death and all that. Now that I have- I’m dying for the final book in Preppy’s trilogy. It’s one of those reads that leaves you wanting so much more!! In the first book, we mostly got the back story of Preppy and Dre. They were together, then they were apart for quite some time. Because Preppy was ‘dead’ and all. Now Preppy is back, and Dre is back in town. Preppy and Dre have both been through so much during their time apart. While Preppy’s was more extreme, Dre getting clean and staying that way was no picnic. I really loved how real this book felt throughout reading it. Preppy was less care-free and funny (he still had his moments- not to worry) and was more trying to find himself after all he’d been through. Trying to figure out life now, life with Dre. “I was lost,” I said, breathlessly, not exactly sure what I was trying to say, although Dre seemed to understand. She gripped my arm tighter. “You were, but I found you.”
I love the way Dre and Preppy found each other, saved each other… they were made for each other. Preppy is one of those unique characters that you can’t help but love. I’ve loved him in every book he’s been in, but more than anything- I loved seeing this side of him. It felt so real and raw, and not in an over the top or gritty type of way that we’re used to with TM’s books. This book felt much more emotional then some of the others in the series and I loved that about it. You gotta know it ends on a hellava cliffhanger, but no big shock there. I’ll just be over here dying waiting for the next one… no worries ;) Preppy and Dre have a one of a kind and unforgettable love story. I adore both of their characters. TM’s writing is as addicting and gripping as always. It was great to catch up with the gang at Logan’s beach. I love all these characters and I can’t wait for more!

But here’s the thing about being back from captivity, it sucks big time because everything that Preppy once knew and held dear changed. King and Ray started a family. His best friend Bear is engaged and about to be a father. Whereas Preppy is still adjusting to the change. And this new version of Preppy is someone no one recognize. Logan’s Beach used to be my place. My security blanket. But coming out of the dark and into the blinding light I’d been craving for so fucking long wasn’t at all what I thought it would be. It was a new kind of hell. ” When Dre discovers that Preppy is indeed alive, she rushes over to see him. A flood of different emotions courses through Dre. She is shocked, happy, relieved, sadden, angry, and most of all confused. Confused on how much she still loves and cares for him. He once saved her and seeing this new version of Preppy, she feels the need to save him also. But how can you help someone who doesn’t want to open up? I have nightmares all the time. You know what’s the only thing that makes them go away?” He placed his hand over mine. “You. You silence the world when it’s too fucking loud. You make me feel less broken.” After being held captive for so long, the Preppy that everyone knew also died and left a broken damaged man. This new Preppy is a man searching for his next high so he can numb out the pain and memories of his torture. But with the appearance of Dre, Preppy is assaulted with the truth. That Dre has always been the one. The one girl who also saved him when she flooded his heart and soul with love. Since death already knocked on Preppy’s door, will Preppy let the Reaper finally in? Or will he finally realize that Dre is his second chance at life? Which is why, when faced with the fucking end of my life, I spit in the Reaper’s face. Because my name is Samuel Clearwater, and I take orders from no one. Not even death ” In Preppy: The Life and Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Two, T.M. Frazier once again hooks readers to really see that Dre and Preppy had to really go on their separate ways in order for them to really grow up and become the stronger individuals that they are. For Dre, she had to get her life back on track. And for Preppy, he finally saw the truth. He had a family that had his back and loved him flaws and all including, Dre. While this installment took on a more gritty emotional undertone, I loved it and understood T.M. Frazier reasoning on why Dre and Preppy’s story couldn’t be completed in this second installment. Individually and together we had to see the journey and growth of this couple. I will just say I will never get tired of these cast of fictional characters that Frazier has created. She allowed us to see flawed, broken, damaged, and vulnerable characters who were able to cast off the darkness in their lives and take reign. All there is left to say, are you ready for more suspenders, bow ties, and the smart dirty mouth of Samuel Clearwater and his beloved Doc? If so, be prepared to get lost in Frazier's gritty and emotional prose as she holds you hostage with not only her words but her characters. T.M. Frazier

He's living but he's not alive. This book also showed a different side of Preppy. I'm used to the comedic relief he provided in King. Now we see a broken down and fragile version of Samuel Clearwater. We also witness Dre this time around fixing him after he saved her in their first encounter. I loved how they are both able to heal and save each other. What I also loved about this book was the growth of the characters. Preppy and Dee have both through some horrible stuff and their characters matured in this story. I'm a big fan of character growth and Frazier nailed it! I must say that ending just about killed me! I now see why they call you the Evil Ginger! I need the final book and I need it yesterday!!! *an arc was given for an honest review* For more reviews check me out at: http://www.shellysbookcorner.com

"I have nightmares all the time. You know what's the only thing that makes them go away? You." Preppy is a hero like no other and now that he is "back," he has to learn how to live again. Although he is surrounded by the love of his friends he is missing the one person in his life that brought him peace...Dre. Dre has returned to town to tie up loose ends but with Preppy in her space once again, it is doubtful that he is going to let her go again. Or will he? "That's it, bite me. Show me how much you want to scream." Preppy and Dre share a passionate and yet volatile relationship. When Preppy left Dre the first time, he broke her. Now that Preppy is back, he is struggling with learning how to live again. Dre is finally clean and sober and getting tangled up in Preppy might be the one thing that brings her back into her life of addiction and yet, is it possible that Preppy is the only drug that she needs to survive? "The fullness was shredding me open on the inside in the most delicious way. Pain only led to pleasure, especially when Preppy spoke, his words fanning the flames of the fire that was already burning volcano hot." Told in dual POV, Preppy is an unforgettable character and I will truly never get enough. I found the circumstances in this installment to be more intense because I feared that Preppy and Dre might not be able to overcome the distance and pain between them. Although the primary emphasis is on Preppy and Dre, the supporting characters continue to enhance the overall story as they act as an ensemble driving the action. The intimacy between Preppy and Dre is raw, rough, and so so sexy! Out of all of the characters in this series, I believe Preppy and Dre are my favorite due to the complex relationship they share. The story arc is well developed, and although I was quite frustrated with the amount of time it took for Preppy to make things right, I recognize that he remains true to his character and does everything in his own way and in his own time! Preppy Part 2 is an absolute must read for T.M. fans or readers looking for a sexy hero with no impulse control and an overabundance of energy. I have long been a fan of T.M. Frazier's work, and she just continues to amaze me with her crazy characters and the unforgettable world they live in. Be forewarned, there is a major cliffy in this one, but thankfully Preppy Part 3 is already in the works! ***King Series*** *ARC graciously provided in exchange for an honest review! But I’m not that girl anymore. I can take care of myself. I can save myself if I need saving and if you need me to then I can save you too.” If there is one man who is capable of defying the laws of nature that's Preppy. Time may have stood still in the basement of his hell hole, but now here looking at his friends and family, life moved on... leaving him to wonder where he fits in this new day. The only comfort he finds is in Doc, she sees him for him, and for the first time since he's free from hell.... he feels ALIVE. Tired of wasting fucking time. Tired of not living. Tired of being fucking dead. And maybe I was just tired of being fucking tired. Back to LIFE. Back to POSSIBILITY. Preppy is just an amazing character, seriously this guy from day one has been my FAV of the bunch. Super sweet, funny, sexy and cute! To see the tables turn between Doc and Preppy was just the perfect segue into their second chance at life and at love. Preppy just makes you want to wrap him up in a BIG hug and never let go. The whole story line was perfect, it was sad yet the lingering light of hope was never too far off, making it not quite so heavy. Preppy would never allow it to be too serious. I can't believe this is the 6th book in the King series, and there is more to come. It's a series built on family and love, ride-or-die relationships that just makes the bond between Preppy, Doc, King, Bear, Doe and Ti special in their own way. Preppy and Dre has come along way, I can't wait for the final book in their chapter, because where this ended, I can't even imagine where the story will go. I've been racking my brain, feeling like I missed something big... I guess I'm gonna have to wait and see, I just know they deserve the HEA, ASAP! There was never a doubt in my mind of whether or not I was going to love the second part of Preppy's story, it was just a given I absolutely KNEW I would and from the very first page I proved myself right, this second book (the sixth book in the king series) had me addicted more than an heroine addict is for their next fix. I couldn't put it down as soon as I started and I never stopped wanting more, even now. In this book you'll see Preppy and Dre go though an incredible about of pain and extreme sadness as Preppy tries to find himself after the horrific amount of torture he endured in the darkness but it's not an easy thing for him to do, he pushes the ones he loves fearing he's not good enough and it's heartbreaking. Whilst I want to give a more detailed review I ain't spoiling this bad boy for anyone so just know it will BLOW YOUR DAMN MIND. The plot twists in this will make you scream out in frustration and pull your damn hair out. Preppy and Dre have cemented themselves into my brain and deep down into my heart making sure they'll never be able to leave and I LOVE it. All of these characters will forever be my favourites, ALWAYS. T.M. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this because god knows it deserves it, Preppy deserves all the stars. Warning: This books ends in a cliffhanger! Dre goes in search of closure and finds herself face to face with her past. I found this book to be a little different from the rest but not any less interesting. It takes the internal conflict that Preppy is feeling at being back after an involuntary absence and really brings it to the forefront. The concept can be applied to other scenarios in real life, not necessarily in the same context that Preppy experienced, so I liked that it was addressed at all and more so how it was executed. King, Bear and their ladies continue to be a pivotal part of Preppy's story and I enjoyed the portrayal of the relationships in their complexities. Safety: There is rape. The MCs were with others during their separation but not after they reconnected.

I couldn't wait to see Preppy and Dre figure out their shit and finally be together. They're a couple that you can't deny belong together and I loved getting more of them. We get a lot more of Preppy in this book and I really liked getting to see him working to get back to his usual self. After going through such a traumatic experience he definitely wasn't the same fun-loving, bow tie wearing kook but underneath his pain there were glimpses of that man that we all fell in love with in the earlier books. For that alone this book is worth reading and loving. I do wish that we got more of what happened while Preppy was, uhhh I'll say gone, and got some of the blanks filled in about what happened. We didn't get to see too much of that in the first book so I was sure we would get it in this one, but nope. Without it though we could still get a lot of Preppy's emotions and that made it better for me. In all honesty there wasn't too much of Dre and Preppy rediscovering each other but I was more than okay with that. I liked that so much of the story followed Preppy while he was trying to figure out his new life, which also happens to involve Dre. I'm not always a fan of books that focus more on one character than the other, but in this case it was the perfect thing for this series. Bottom line, you're more crazy than Preppy if you haven't read this series yet so get on it right away. I am more in love with these characters than is probably acceptable for the social-norm but I have no care! ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

I fell in love with Preppy along with the rest of the book world when I met him in King. Then I read the first part of his story and I fell even harder. He is so freaking hilarious, but damaged. So his book was emotional but had this lightness to it as well. This second installment was much more what I am used to from Frazier. It was heavy and broke my heart, but that’s to be expected considering what Preppy has been through. It also left me shocked and willing to beg for the final book. It was heavy and broke my heart, but that’s to be expected considering what Preppy has been through. It also left me shocked and willing to beg for the final book. When the story begins Dre is back in Florida and Preppy has just woken up. At this point my heart started breaking and it stayed broken for these two people damaged souls. Dre finally has her life together, but Preppy is struggling with so many things. I actually loved him even more after reading this second installment. My heart was broken because you could feel his struggle. In the beginning Frazier mentioned this story will focus more on Dre and Preppy as individuals since they have so much to overcome. I naturally wanted more romance and interaction between them, but in the end I loved the direction the story took and like the first installment left you shocked and dying for the final book! Somehow, once again, when it comes to Preppy I got heartbreaking and hilarious!! While my heart was positively aching for what my baby went through, he constantly found a way to make me laugh. While I knew all along that I missed Preppy (ever since King), I didn't realize just how much until the author brought him back to life in this book. Parts of him will be forever changed, a consequence of his pain, but I still found so much of the old Preppy that I knew and loved was still very much alive. He's a new version of himself: Preppy 2.0 if you will. I love that the author didn't rush this story. Time was spent seeing the many facets of Preppy's anguish and his slow recovery. It was worthwhile to watch as he tried to claw his way out of the darkness. The attention placed on his sensitivity to light and sound was on point. And what a pleasure it was to watch him not only survive and live but to also thrive. In the author's note, she states: "It's not just a love story between two people, it's a story about family, loyalty, and the kind of love that goes BEYOND romantic love." Indeed. The familiar cast of characters were there to love and nurture and support Preppy. Dre eventually became a part of all of that. Their road wasn't short and it definitely wasn't easy. But sometimes true beauty cannot be realized without real misery. Don't we always see the prettiest rainbows after the worst rain? That's what Preppy's story is for me. And don't mistake it, this was absolutely Preppy's story. Everyone else is supporting cast and I can't wait for the story to continue in book three. That ending though???? What I need to know more about: ♔ Smoke's reappearance ♔ Will there be any weddings? ♔ Who the heck helped Chop torture Preppy? The second part of Samuel story is focusing more on Preppy's side of the story. His struggle, his grief, his demons. All coming together. I do love how Dre being there for him, loving him. The badass, unapologetic, smart-ass anti-hero that we cannot help but love is back for round 2, and OMG it was worth the wait! * Please be warned that this review will be spoilery if you haven’t read the King series up to this point. * Ever since I finished Preppy: Part One, I have been desperate for this book! TM Frazier is nasty with the cliffies, and that last one was pretty horrific. But this book picks up immediately where the last one left off, and I was instantly thrown back into the chaotic world of these characters that I love so much. This wasn’t going to be some sort of warm and fuzzy reunion. No, it was a fucking relapse. Our beloved Preppy has been through hell. He is finally back where he belongs, but all that he has been through has changed him. He is struggling to adjust back to his normal, and as much as he tries to be himself, he feels like a stranger in his own life. His turmoil is heartbreaking, and I love how much emotion Frazier was able to put into this story. But it’s written in a way that is all Preppy – rude, crude and irreverent, and it gets us right into his head. There we stood, in the middle of the living room, hugging it out, each trying to hold back our tears until our need to cry outweighed our need to be the manly fucking men we were and we were no longer able to hold in the tears. “I’m not fucking crying,” Bear sobbed. “Me either, you fucking pussy,” I sobbed back as my old friend held me tighter and we hugged and punched each other hard on the backs until I was sure we were going to give each other bruises, and if it went on much longer, probably some broken ribs. When he finally let go of me we quickly wiped our eyes and noses on our t-shirts, because real men don’t fucking cry. Dre is also back, and the story is written in dual POV so we get to see exactly what these two have been, and are still, going through, and I couldn’t put this book down! “That’s one of the reasons I’m here. In town. For closure. I’ve made so many mistakes. So freaking many.” “Did you find it?” Preppy asked. “Your closure?” I looked over to the dark corner and felt his eyes on me when I whispered, “Not even close.” I loved the second-chance-romance aspect of the story as Prep and Dre find their way back to each other. As I have come to expect, it’s hot, dirty, and incredibly intense, but it’s also very emotional as secrets from the past are revealed, and they fully open up to each other. I loved their love story – it’s beautifully written, but in a way that is still true to the characters, giving this book a lot of heart. “I have nightmares all the time. You know what’s the only thing that makes them go away?” He placed his hand over mine. “You. You silence the world when it’s too fucking loud. You make me feel less broken.” “Hey Doc?” he asked, searching my eyes. His laugh quieted and his smile fell. My stomach flipped. “Yeah?” “This time…I’m gonna keep you.” But more than just a love story, this is Preppy’s journey, and as always, I cannot get enough of him as a character. And I love how his ‘family’ were all there for him, in particular Dre with her newfound strength and absolute commitment to him – I love her! “I don’t give two fucks what happens to me. I don’t even know who I am to care about so how the fuck am I supposed to take care of you?” “Samuel Clearwater, I might have needed you to take care of me once and you did. You saved my life. But I’m not that girl anymore. I can take care of myself. I can save myself if I need saving and if you need me to then I can save you too.” And as always, I loved the dynamic between the boys. King, Bear and Prep have been through everything together, and have stood by each other’s side through all of it. And seeing them in this next stage of their lives was truly something special. This was a surprisingly quick read, and my only complaint is that I wish it had been longer. There is so much that happens in this book, and I wanted to see more of it. I wanted more detail, more answers, and I feel like I missed out on some of the feels that I was sure were coming my way. But I still loved it. I love the characters, the twists, the surprises, and the way it all plays out. It ends on yet ANOTHER hideous cliffy, but I’m so happy with where the characters are at, and I cannot wait to get my hands on book #3. Fantastic, I loved it – 4 stars. After reading this whole series, I was really excited to get my hands on this book. Especially after what he's been through. It broke my heart finding out what he had gone through. Plus finding out what Dre had to go through while overcoming her addiction. I was hoping we would get a lot of Preppy and Dre together but in all honesty there wasn't. But it fit the story perfectly. Their story isn't one that needs to be rushed and you could tell that was the author's intent. I loved that we got to see the whole gang again, they are all important to Preppy and we really get to see that when they are helping him through is ordeal. We got to see a unexpected character which I was really excited about. Hopefully we see more of him and hopefully he gets his own story told. Now I have to sit here after reading that massive cliffhanger and what for the third and final part to Preppy's story!! (I hope it isn't a long wait.)

Five Preppyfuckingmania stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I would write a review, but it ended on another one of TMFs infamous cliffhangers..... And as I’m not known for my patience, it’s a case of review vs reading Preppy’s final book of this trilogy? AND *drum roll please*......PREPPY’S BOOK WINS!! 👏👏👏 P.s. Preppy has a brother 😳. Good brother? 🤷‍♀️ Bad brother? Possible 🤷‍♀️. “I’m gonna have to put that mothefucker down brother? Strong possibility 🤷‍♀️.

Now that we're caught up with Preppy's backstory, this is not only the continuation of Preppy and Dre's story, but also the continuation of the series as a whole. It picks up where Part 1 of Preppy's story ended, and where book 4 of the series ended. So definitely not a standalone, if that's still not clear... I do appreciate TM's foreword on this because I totally understood. King and Bear of the first 4 books got a duology each, but Preppy gets a trilogy, and it makes perfect sense. Preppy is now out of that hellish experience and it's about him learning to move forward. Dre is back thinking she'll get her closure but obviously not. Maybe it's just me but this is more emotional than the previous books. For starter, they're not quite knee-deep in any situation, so to speak. This is about Preppy coming back to the land of the living. This is about figuring out how Dre fits (as if there was any question). In doing so, King, Bear, Ray and Ti had their parts to play. Bigger than Preppy and Dre's reunion is the familial relationship that this little group has created and clearly cherished. Preppy broke my heart. I felt his anguish.I felt his confusion. But, y'know, Preppy is Preppy. And Preppy deals with things the Preppy way. Dre has grown quite a bit. Her strength is more apparent. She has become Preppy's anchor. I love how King and company played a prominent part. I love how I got a glimpse of Rage, Nolan, and... wait for it... yup, Smoke, albeit small. While I didn't get the introduction of new elements, ie, new characters, you just know TM wants to take you in a specific direction. And outside of that bomb that TM dropped right at the very end, I thought it wrapped things up nicely and very well could've been their tentative HEA. But, but, but, there were still a lot of answered questions, for sure, so I can't even describe the anticipation I'm feeling getting to the conclusion of Preppy's story. Alright, #evilginger, bring it!!

While I could have done without the cliffhanger at the very end, I am excited that Preppy and Dre will have another story in the near future. In addition to this, the incorporation of ALL the characters from the King series made this one even better! It was so good "see" some of my other favorite characters in this one. For those who are familiar with the series, this is Preppy's second book and yes, there will be a third (I mentioned the cliffy above). If you are not familiar with the series than I recommend starting with one of my other favorite books which also happens to be the first in this series, King. As for the genre, I think it is best described as a dark and gritty MC romance series with bad boys and black hearts. It's also pretty violent, deals with some issues that some will deem sensitive, and has very strong language. If your into these types of book than this is the series you MUST read! Frazier I am grateful that you have created a character as wonderful as Prreppy who is so great, dark and funny is a delight to read him. I love him from the bottom of my soul YA NECESITABA UN POCO DEL AMOR DE PREPPY Este libro para mí es el más esperado de inicio de año, conté los meses, días y hasta las horas para que saliera a la luz y al fin llegó, lo necesitaba en mi vida. T.M. You are a good person, my Samuel. You’re a good boy. Grace’s words rang in my head. You are loved. Me encantó volver a leer a Nolan.

I actually think the entire King series need to be read before this one. Technically, King and Bear’s story could read as stand alones, but with Preppy being the last book, I think there is too much history embedded in the other books. The history creates the entire backdrop for Preppy’s story. The previous books are quite good so it shouldn’t be hard to read them. Anyhow, if you’ve read my other reviews on this series, you will know that I am a huge Preppy fan. He’s the jokester of the group. He’s comic relief in some pretty violent and gruesome situations. When Preppy comes back to life, he loses himself. His special spark dies a little and it absolutely breaks my heart. It tears me up inside to see him suffer. I just want the poor man to get a break. Well, he does in the form of a girl named Dr. Dre. Dre is a great character. I liked her from book 1, but in book 2 she matures and grows. Despite her junkie history, she grounds the story and adds a bit of normalcy to this group of outlaws. She is a character of strength and Preppy definitely draws strength from her. Dre along with the other women in this story have such power over their men. It’s quite wonderful to see Frazier portray women to have such influence and strength among the men. I find myself having a little more pride for women everywhere. “My wife was home.” It still amazes me how T. M. Frazier creates this violent world where I’m actually rooting for all these crazy people. And trust me, they are like borderline psychopaths, but here I am cheering them on to find happiness. This book is the least violent of all the books. There is barely any war or killing. It focuses more on Preppy and Dre’s internal battles. Dre and Preppy have some touching moments, but the bromance is still what gets me. I love how much King, Bear, and Preppy love each other. Their dedication to one another is a beautiful bond that can’t be broken. “Motherfucker was trying to cuddle with me. It was fucking adorable.” “I loved that big mean bastard.” I’m hooked on this series. I have learned to love these misfits and outlaws. So I encourage you all to read Preppy and give this entire series a try! Happy reading!!

I personally really liked the direction TM Frazier took with this second installment in a three-part series. I feel we got a heavier dose of real life and heart and less of the violent, dark, gritty nature of some of these books. My inner romantic was swooning and my heart was breaking on more than one occasion throughout this book. Dre really grew in Preppy Part Two. Though we as readers got equal amounts of reading time with both she and Preppy, I feel she was the rock that truly holds their story together- versus that of Part One. I really thought we'd get a sweet "walk off in the sunset" ending but, alas, no such luck and yes, this book ends in a mutha of a cliffhanger. Until then, I'll be feverishly tapping my fingers waiting for that final installment in Preppy, The Life and Death of Samuel Clearwater. Advanced copy received by author in exchange for my honest review.
