The book is a great display of fantasy and dedicated writing. With its peculiar way to include rhymes across the story, it is an easy and engaging read. It's exciting to follow the adventures of 5 fairies with dark wishes. The book is a great display of fantasy and dedicated writing. The premise of the book is interesting, but its treatment is appalling. The book needs to undergo a series of edits and re-edits to furnish the story line, polish the characters and most importantly, refine the verses. It has the potential to be a captivating children's storybook only after the laborious task of editing is finalized. Spelling and grammatical mistakes can really throw off a reader and I found myself constantly annoyed by the blocky and chunky paragraphs. Whenever the story promised magic, I would be flustered with simple mistakes in formatting and syntax. I hope the author revisits this book and refurbishes it.

I am somewhat confused by the book. The story line is clearly for young children, however the vocabulary used is for much older people-at least late teenagers. The story combines many elements of fairy tales and Hoshruba-land of the Tilism. All the elements of the story reminded me of some other novel, movie, or myth. However if the vocabulary is easier in the second book, I am sure that children of 8-11 years would love this book.
