This book came to me from my work. My company is on the journey to being a High Reliability Organization and this book provides a terrific background to the tenets behind this philosophy. There are many anecdotes from the nuclear navy that illustrate the key points. Greatly enjoyed the read and look forward to adopting these principles to our operation. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to operationally improve their business especially in the areas of safety.

This book provides great insight into how the U.S. Navy's nuclear crews continually operate at peak efficiency in some of the harshest environments on earth. These methods can be adapted to industrial operations to achieve operational success that sets organizations apart.
