Boring Skip this book. Its terribly disappointing since other books in this series has been more entertaining. This book just offers an update on Taryn's medical condition and a suggestion that Matt is going to read cut as her love interest in some future book. The last 3 or 4 chapters gives you the whole story for this book. Disappointing! Boring Skip this book. Its terribly disappointing since other books in this series has been more entertaining. Great story, surprise ending, really needs an editor I love these stories! I didn’t see the ending coming at all! The only thing that makes me crazy, is the lack of editing. There are so many grammatical and word usage mistakes that it is a distraction. I would have rated it higher, if she had someone correct the easily found and corrected errors!

Wow Books 1-7 (so far) are absolutely incredible. LOVE the series. I was checking it out because my name is Taryn and I was pleasantly surprised how much I love Rebecca’s storytelling style. Amazing!

The lack of proper editing drives me crazy! “ By habit, it seemed, he placed her legs in his lab and began rubbing her claves”

Muddy creek Look the is mysterys are good stories. But over killing her sickness. Sounds like she wants the Taryn's to get a petty party. Muddy creek Look the is mysterys are good stories. But over killing her sickness. Sounds like she wants the Taryn's to get a petty party.

Typo City As much as I love the series and this book, I couldn't get over the crazy number of typos, wrong words, and misspelled words. One character named Freida was referred to as male and female. Obviously whoever is supposed to proofread was on a lengthy vacation or something. It would be one thing if there were 5 or even 10 typos. I lost count. They were almost every page. Also, for the love of God, stop with the Taryn not being sure of Matt storyline. Another good read Muddy Creek had a few editing errors but this didn't detract from the book. The storyline hits close to home when it comes to the horrors of humanity. I enjoyed this series and will read the next book. Another good read Muddy Creek had a few editing errors but this didn't detract from the book. 7th book is great I wish my camera is like Miss Dixie!!! Taryn takes photos and then when she gets a feel for an old building, she will paint the building on canvas e as it was when first built. This book was about a grammar school that was haunted. Her boyfriend, Matt, always visits Taryn on at least one weekend and more if he is able to, to give his insight regarding the pictures she takes. This is a really good series that I feel you should read from the first so you can enjoy Tartan and Matt 7th book is great I wish my camera is like Miss Dixie!!! Another great story by RPH So I really like all of the books in this series. I really like Taryn because she is a down to earth, southern, doing okay financially- but not rich, interesting, paranormal, painting woman. She has her romantic sidekick, Matt who is in love with her, and waiting for something that may never happen. I love the mystery in these books as well, and I believe this is probably the best yet.

Great read Slightly different ending then the rest of the books, but it has the ability for you to feel the emotions of the characters in the story, which isn't always something I find in the books I read, but Rebecca has a way of doing that for me. It makes me feel connected to the characters and the storyline. Wonderful Rebecca Patrick Howard has done it again. This book touched on some dark issues and the long lasting effects. It was well written. We all should look out for the children and report suspected abuse of any kind for it is our business because it's the first step in stopping the abuse from being passed on. I couldn't put it down! As usual, the characters were rich and the story compelling! I love how real and haunting these stories are. I didn't want it to end. I couldn't put it down!
