Book 4 in the series and I loved it. It was a nice long story. We did get to catch up with most of the characters that we have come to know and love. I am a fan so I loved the story. There was a lot of narration in the story and I would have like to seen a lot more dialogue. However, if you were unfamiliar with the series and picked book 4 to read then the narration would have helped you greatly. Definitely worth reading. I cannot wait to read Luca's story. 4 beautifully broken stars. I just love this author and her very creative imagination. I just had to go back from the start and re-read them all. Although not as intense as the other books in this series, still good and got better as the story progressed. Favorite chapters were...the kids, healing and epilogue. Both Kyle and Reanna's journey to accepting love was painfully long but so worth it. Kyle's story I am glad to read Kyle's story and how he was finally able to let go of his past and began to heal. Reanna was the soothing balm he needed. Even though it was some action, it was not as much as first three books. I'm glad Kyle got the closure and HEA he needed. Beautiful Not since Mario Puzo have I read Italian Mafia books that are too hard to put down. And to make it even better, Ms. Hardin added beautiful love stories. Onto Book 5 and then I’ll probably put them all together and read them again.

My, my, my. Kyle has truly grown up. I was elated to hear that Kyle got his own book. Although I've been hoping for Dante and Gabriel's story, and also desired to read about Mickey (my favorite)- Kyle's story was the one that needed to be written next. To be honest, I could barely stand Reanna. She's just so-whiny. She also came off as weak. But after thinking about it, she is perfect for Kyle, and I loved Reanna's relationship with Sofia. Gabrielle has managed to dodge his way through without getting his hands dirty, I can do without his love life especially if he's not doing something to step up besides running. Also the flip flopping Carter tends to do when something is going on with her family was getting annoying. The ending of this one reminds me of how she has been hated all because of her family ties. I'm still not sure why the siblings are being held, I thought they worked something out with Nathan. Kyle's mother I can see but I'm still not sure why she was doing what she was or even why she thought he'd help her. That didn't seem like it has been addressed fully. Overall theses have editing issues but overall they've been really enjoyable reads.

Flat. This book is not as good as the previous books in the series, which is a re-read for me. Too much internal dialog that was redundant and did not add to the story. All that internal dialog just added needless noise and space in the story. Character inconsistencies from the character in the previous books. I guess this book is to prepare for the characters in the next books, which is fine; however, finish this story first. Incomplete storylines...the confrontation between the h and the best f Flat. There was enough material to flesh out this story to make it a much better read. What was that all about that the h would be upset that the H would kill someone that hurt her...really? I hope the author spends the time to write a more fulfilling story with the other characters that seemed to be coming. I guess we can expect another twist of a story with the ending of this book with the "my son" statement?. Lost potential.

Did he just call her Carter? I was scared to get this book at first because of all the different reviews. I didn't want one book messing up how I felt about the series. Didn't happen. It made me skip pages because I knew I missed nothing. Which is why I snatched a star. And Ms. Hardin is the queen of throwing out subtle hints I was sure Aniyah had something crazy up her sleeve with those condoms on the desk... Sabotage perhaps? The children... are my favorite from now on. I cannot wait until they have their own books because most definitely Sandr needs his own.

Honestly didn’t like how much Reanna was sweating Kyle and the fact that she still considered Aniyah a friend but was up in her Mona’s face. Regardless of the reason. Reanna did Aniyah and Braden wrong. And she tried to make him the bad guy when she did him dirty. The way Kyle handled Aniyah was trash. I wish he would’ve took his father’s advice when it came to that. I really hate that Braden was made to be the bad guy. Kyle & Reanna This is such a great series, full of drama, mystery, humorous camaraderie, friendship, love, loyalty, greed, murder etc... The books are long, but trust me, a definite page turner that you can hardly out down. I cried with Kyle...when he finally let go and face his demons. All the characters are awesome!

I have been trolling the imaginary aisles of Amazon anxiously awaiting this book for so very long. I finally bit the bullet and decided to locate one of my favorite authors online to find out when I could expect this installment. Thankfully it wasn't long after this that I received the proverbial gift of seeing this LIVE on Amazon.com. I finally bit the bullet and decided to locate one of my favorite authors online to find out when I could expect this installment. Thankfully it wasn't long after this that I received the proverbial gift of seeing this LIVE on Amazon.com. Of course, me being who I am I jumped right on the book and did what I am prone to do when I want to savor a book "I slow read it!" LOL. Now Kyle has been one of my favorite characters from the onset of this series. It was a toss up of who I wanted Carterina to end up with more. I got that Nathan and Carter were destined for one another but I just had a soft spot in my heart for the little one who was seemingly on the outside looking in much of this series. It was refreshing to see the lives of all of the characters and I can admit that I laughed uproarously many times when the scenes were unfolding between Carter and Nathan's children. That Aleksandr had me in tears a few times. God you just have to love him LOL. Okay on to the main focus of this book. Let me preface everything that I am about to say with this disclaimer, I ABSOLUTLELY LOVE MICHELLE HARDIN'S WRITING STYLE!!! Now with that said there were a few things about the book that just didn't sit too well with me. Let's start with Reanna and her misguided decision to get back with a man that all but dropped her 4 years prior. I just didn't understand the logic in that and taking the advice of her admittedly spoiled brat sister and equally dramatic best friend was just foolishness on a whole different level. Let me say this there is NOTHING that either Tamara or Ronaldo could tell me that would really make me listen to them. They both were ambitious and highly intelligent individuals when it came to their business but they were immature in other aspects of their lives. They couldn't have told me a danggone thing that I would have accepted or even allowed to go in one ear and out of the other. I'm Just Saying LOL. Then we have the shallow Aniyah. While she made my whole behind itch I really did not like her. She was dismissive of Sofia and she was immature in that she liked to throw subliminals to Reanna that she just was too naive to catch. While I did not like her, her character served a purpose. I think that here Ms. Hardin dropped the ball a little because she shows us how very unlikable she is but we never get to see the conclusion to her or her friend the secretaries antics. There is NO WAY that Aniyah who for all intents and purposes was a Grade-A Gold Digger could or would just walk away and never find a time to confront Reanna outside of the short confrontation that took place. Even Reanna knew that she was in for something. That little spat where she showed her anger because she continued talking "greasy" in front of the children would not have been the end of that by any means; nor would Aniyah have walked away quietly from a company where I know that she was receiving high compensation. It just wouldn't have happened. It doesn't matter what type of reputation they had she was a woman scorned and impulsive. That's a recipe for disaster in and of itself. Now on to the relationship of Kyle and Reanna. I loved them together. They were innately intuned with one another and could feel and see the pain that they both carried reflected back as if looking into a mirror image. I read some of the reviews about their romance being long and drawn out but I must say that I disagree with that. I love the build up and I love the intricacies along the way where Kyle would flashback to all of the pain and hurt that he experienced as a child. I do however think that the explanation of how he was recovering these long-forgotten memories could have been explained a little better but I get the thought process behind why they were included. Now you are probably saying that I listed more negatives than positives so why give the book 5 stars. Simply put this book captivated me from beginning to end. I felt as if I was there in the story experiencing the searing pain of Kyle, the highest orgasms known to woman-kind along with Reanna, the pettiness and selfishness that Tamara reamed out to Reanna, the foolishness of the children in all of the precocious moments, and even the homicidal rages of Ana and Carterina in the end. Ms. Hardin did what many authors are unable to do anymore, she created a world that I gladly stepped inside of to immerse myself while experiencing the lives of some of the best characters I've read about in a long time. Was it perfect? No it wasn't but it was Perfectly Imperfect and because of that Ms. Hardin deserves this 5 star rating. Kudos Ms. Hardin. Please don't have us waiting too long for the next saga in the trials of this family. You my dear were born to do this and I can't imagine you doing anything else but fashioning these modelesque characters for me to salivate over when I tire of reading the ordinary and am in dire need of EXTRAORDINARY!!!

Absolute best Kyle's story was filled with so much emotional pain. He endured so much at an early age. Reanna had a heart full of love and so glad Sofia and Kyle were the recipients of it. It was fun visiting with the Salerno children. The twins are a riot!!! Looking forward to the next installment in this series. I wish Aniyah had been dealt with more of a heavy hand. Kyle and Reanna's story is one filled with closure, discover and growth. Two broken souls who become beautifully broken together and heal each other. Both Kyle and Reanna are fighting what they feel for each other Kyle more so than Reanna. Kyle is still involved with Aniyah and Reanna friend and sister are telling her that she is giving Kyle all of the benefits with her receiving any of the awards. Kyle's worst night starts coming true when Reanna starts to pull away and dating a former boyfriend, this does not sit well with Kyle. Without Reanna around Kyle's night terrors become increasingly worse so bad that his daughter mention them to Kyle's father. We learn more about Kyle as well as Reanna's background and what made them who they are as adults. Everyone can see how Kyle loves Reanna, but Kyle is not willing to take the chance on what he feels for her until it is almost too late. Little did Kyle know the monster of his dreams is back and his father was aware that she had been released she will be coming for Kyle. The way Kyle broke up with Aniyah and the way she reacted was classic. Kyle let Aniyah know in no certain term that she was not the woman he wanted to be with nor did he love her and knew that she did not love him. I liked the confrontation between Reanna and Aniyah especially when Reanna called for Michele to remove Aniyah. Reanna handled Aniyah with class. I felt that Reanna should not have have felt guilty or apologized to Aniyah for what happened with Kyle. I believe Aniyah new on some level Kyle's feelings toward Reanna. Ana and Carter together is lethally wow. We see some of our character favorites Nathan, Lucca, Dante, Mikilo, Ana, Gabriel, Sofia and meeting a new one Michele. And Carter's squad, those are some straightforward no nonsense group of women.

This lady right here... what can I say? I will trying to give a review without rambling. This review is of the entire Dangerous Beauty collection. Michelle made me fall in love with too many characters to name. I want to know everyone's story. Hell I'd read a book about Jake! I'm baffled at Ms. Hardin's writing. I mean truly amazed. She captures love and life in the most well-rounded way Ive ever read. I mean I laughed out loud while a man signed his name with his own blood. That's not funny right? The heroines are beyond sharp. They laugh in one moment and become lethal in the next and nurturing mothers in the next. And it's believable...and somehow....relatable. They are murderers and mommies. They kill, cook, and cuddle. (not necessarily in that order). They are each beautiful but not unattainable. They are real women and specifically African-American women. Now the heroes... My, my, my. Sexy and dangerous at all ages. They get better with time. They are uncles, daddies, and grandfathers. These men are the epitome of alpha with the perfect hint of vulnerability, humanity and broknenness. They love and protect family. At. All. Costs. I love every one of them differently. Then the children!! Such accurate and amusing conversation between adults and children - some liberties taken of course but I laughed out loud during many of the exchanges involving the kids. (who by the way are each developed characters). I don't know how she developed 100 characters (slight...very slight...exaggeration) without overwhelming me, without being cliche, and leaving me wanting (sometimes panting) for more. I'm so glad I have adopted this large, Italian/Russian/French/American family as my own. I will grab anything by Michelle Hardin without hesitation! She has opened a new door for me. And being an avid reader, it's not often that you come across unexplored pathways. Thank you Michelle for sharing your gift and imagination with us!

I'm praying that the next installment will me more paced. More developed, not rushed. Not so many gaps. Outside of that I love Deanna with Kyle. I love that she isn't a badass like Carter. I love that she is her own self-made woman. She is strong, but have her weaknesses. She is intelligent, yet naive. She is sweet, but don't push her. This book is good but not as strong as the first 3 in the series. I love the kids and any peeks that I can get at this crazy but sweet mafia family. His love for his daughter and his devotion to her is wonderful but I must say his 2 year relationship felt tacked on and I must agree with other readers the way he fell or found himself in love out of the blue was a bit random with his past I could easily see how it would happen but while still good this book needed to be planned out and made a bit spicier like the other books and honestly I needed more Carter and Nathan and their adorable kids. I need a book for Lucca and Mickey who seem a lot more interesting than Kyle and I would love to know more about little Jojo I found it interesting that he is deaf and the family learned to sign and think it is interesting that he only likes a smaller group of the family. I think the series can continue but don’t keep adding family from all over without really building a storyline. All the other books stood alone so well this one just needs a bit more definition and I still enjoyed it.

Kyle has always been one of my favorites from the first story. I've always hoped that he would have his HEA story. His complex nature made this story a thrilling ride. At first, I was having a hard time with the way he treated Reanna. It was clear to everyone with eyes that they had a connection, a chemistry, so-to-speak. The visual of their odd eating ritual was sexy and tantalizingly hot.. Kyles almost caustic fear of being not enough for Reanna was heart breaking. The underworld business is still a fascinating part in each story, as it weaves the fabric from previously revealed storyline. Caterina and Nathan are a dangerously fascinating couple. I love love love their eclectic children. Sophi is my other favorite kid.. Kyle's bambino is a miniature version of him... Reanna and Kyle were a natural fit. Their story had so much humor and heavy parts to the story.. A nice mixture of good, goofy, danger and excitement. This was one heck of a story, a page turner with every word.. I can't wait for Micky's story
