When she was bad, she was better.  Elizabeth Harding is determined not to let Luca Santos get in her head or her bed ever again. Even if he does seem ready to play all her favorite games, he’s still the same ambitious man he’s always been—and she’s still the boss’s daughter. Luca’s a man who gets what he wants, and what he wants is Elizabeth. it was... okay? idk, i just don't think i like this serial novella thing. the first one felt really incomplete to me, and this one felt like a perfunctory ending with almost no tension (like, luca is almost too perfect, there was never any doubt he was going to do the right thing and be amazing?) anyway i enjoyed reading it because i really like rai's writing, but plot-wise and characterwise, i think she's better when she's given the space to expand in an actual novel.

I thought this book was a great way of finishing the story for Elizabeth and Luke. It's a great read.

3.5 stars thank you Rachel for bringing to my attention the fact that this book has been released! I immediately one-clicked because no self control lol anyway, I love this one a lot more than the first book. I wasn't sure if I liked Luca before, but he grew on me in this one. still very much adore Elizabeth / Tess.

I just realised that these two are very short but incredibly worthy books, like I feel super happy and satisfied with Elizabeth and Luca's story, I would still love to read more about them but overall, I have never enjoyed a short book this much

3.5 stars Note: Be My Fantasy and Stay My Fantasy are halves of a full novel - pick them up as a set or you risk being less than satisfied. This review treats both books as one whole. This book reminded me why I love Alisha Rai - fully formed characters with realistic emotional journeys, interestingly complicated scenarios, and smoking hot sex. The good: - Elizabeth knows what she wants and goes after it. Having a public image to maintain cramps her style, but with the help of a friend she still man 3.5 stars Note: Be My Fantasy and Stay My Fantasy are halves of a full novel - pick them up as a set or you risk being less than satisfied. The good: - Elizabeth knows what she wants and goes after it. Having a public image to maintain cramps her style, but with the help of a friend she still manages to part-own a pleasure club, complete with a fantasy room built to her specifications. - Luca is a gentleman. He sticks up for Elizabeth when someone at a party puts her down, and he knows when to back down in an argument. He also knows when to apologize and how to compromise. - The dynamic between the two is complex but doesn't become muddled. There are reasons they doubt each other at times, but they communicate and work things out. - If you're into light kink you'll enjoy the scenes of voyeurism (staged performances), Domination and submission, spanking, and roleplay. - The book is paced well, fits its pages, and reads quick. The not-so-good: - This should really be one novel, not two. I get why - this is an earlier, indie release from Rai - but think about it as one book. Rai's more recent releases have been too angsty for my taste - see the Forbidden Hearts series - so I enjoyed finding this book in her backlist.

I'm not a big one for the format where the first two chapters of a book are sold for 3 dollars while the second half is sold for the next 3 dollars. Price the whole thing at 5 or 6 and be done with this. Didn't like it when they split up the Hobbit into three movies just to maximise profits, and not liking it here either. The book is great though, but with this kind of pricing, which I really don't like on principle, I will be really careful about what it is I am buying.

Hot, sexy, passionate, emotional - a satisfying conclusion to Elizabeth and Luca’s story.

I didn’t read the first book, but didn’t really need to, to understand the arc of the story. This is a pleasurable erotic novel about wealthy people. Yep that sums it up!

This was okay. It was very surface level, which is to be expected with the length, but it was still cute and a fun, quick read.

I wish this book and the pre-quel had just been turned into one book, breaking it up like that loses a lot of the fun momentum in their relationship. But other than that, this was pretty fun. Nothing unexpected but the sex scenes were good and the character development well telegraphed.

This book continues on right where the last one ended. This time though he has to fight to keep his girl and decide what he can give up to do so. While she focuses on fighting to protect her heart since there is no way someone could love a messed up girl like her. Definite recommend!

Full Disclosure: I know Alisha Rai in person as we have met a few times and I kinda proofread this book before it came out. This being said, it does not have any bearing on my opinion of the books I read that are written by her. When I finished BE MY FANTASY I was both happy and sad to have read it as it was not the complete story of Luca and Elizabeth/Tess and the HEA was being delayed to a second book but it was also so so good I was happy I read it. I was super excited when I got to read STAY MY FANTASY early and I loved it. It was trade mark Alisha Rai: hot, fun, great characters and writing I really connect with. OMG the scene with Luca's parents was so funny and adorable I was smiling the whole time I was reading it. The scene in the club was hot AF! It set the pages on fire with heat and at the same time it was emotionally gripping. This is the way I like my sexy scenes. Also, Luca's dirty talk was on-point and my only complaint is that there wasn't more of it. Though STAY MY FANTASY started off a bit sedated, especially after the smoking hot BE MY FANTASY but it definitely ended on a bang with that epilogue! An epilogue that included my absolute favorite kind of sexy times: desk smexing! Not to mention creative use of a simple red pen. IMHO Alisha Rai deserves a lot more recognition than she is getting. She writes great books that tick all the boxes and I can say I’m up to reading ANYTHING she writes. Favorite Quote: Finally, she subsided and shot Luca a sweet smile. “Nice tush.”
His eyes narrowed, but she caught the glint of humor in his eyes. “It’s gotten better,” he murmured.
His father chuckled, and his mother huffed. “Really, Luca.”
“You’re the one who whipped my butt out at the dinner table, Ma.”

I think this book would have benefited from being in one volume with its predecessor, instead of two separate books...I was off to a really slow start with this one, and had to try several times before I got far enough back into the story to start caring about Elizabeth/ Tess and Luca again. Once I did, I remembered how sweet AND steamy their love was, and why I liked the first book so much. I ended up enjoying it a lot, despite not being terribly into their kinks. Their issues and how they slowly found each other, despite them (aka mostly how Luca overcame his boneheaded mistakes of the past), were believable and sweet. Overall a very enjoyable read. I would probably recommend, if you were going to read the duology, though, read them at the same time, to maintain the momentum and sense of engagement.

3-3.5 Stars This series should have been one book. The first book felt too short with all the build but it had promise. The second one somewhat failed to deliver on that promise. Somewhat. It was still enjoyable, it just get rushed and anticlimactic. There wasn't enough time to build up character growth and the relationship. There was never any doubt Luca wasn't going to get the girl, I just feel that Elizabeth's reactions to him didn't feel organic. I really liked the series, Rai's writing is engaging as always but the novella- length detracted away from the story it could have been.

The conclusion of Luca and Elizabeth's story was okay. I don't know if it was due to there being a lag between the first novella and the 2nd, but Stay My Fantasy was lackluster for me. I understood Elizabeth's reluctance but it started wearing thin. And whatever hotness Luca had in the first installment, he lost some of it in this one. I don't know. I enjoyed it but it didn't have me engrossed like Be My Fantasy.

I really like this author, but this second entry didn't measure up to the first one. The characters just went through the motions and the plot was very straight-forward. I can'y wait to get back to her restaurant series - that was hot!

Good conclusion to their HEA, I liked this series. I do wish there had been more -- more time to see these two get to know one another as they really are, not the polite mask they show to the world -- but I'm always greedy like that. As always, loved Rai's writing.

Very hot, and I liked the way that the conflict between Elizabeth and Luca was resolved. My one quibble is that given how Elizabeth's parents played such a big role as antagonists, it might've helped to see them fleshed out a little more. But that's a small quibble.
