    She starts by showing you a chart that shows the differences between affirmations and mantras. The affirmations being longer, even sentence length and mantras being much shorter and repeated more often. 108x if you have a set of mala beads. Yet ............well over half of them are two sentences long, a few even 3 sentences in length, so according to her own words and my way of thinking these are not mantras they are affirmations. I also read that if you use affirmations or mantras and repeat things that you do NOT believe to be true ( all my money troubles are over, when you are in debt ) your mind won't accept your words, it knows you are lying. She has a lot of those types, telling yourself things you may not believe to be true, which was a turn off The end of the book are true mantras, alas they are all Hindu ones, so for a person who does not wish to chant mantras to Durga or Laxschmi, then you are out of luck, as she has no Christian ones.
