This book was very brief on the 30-day whole food challenge itself. But what I did like in one of the chapters in the beginning was that it helped with dining out and traveling which I have coming up. I seem to keep restarting and having a hard time to fully devote and be disciplined with this diet. This has award-winning recipes but I only see a few that I want to try. I seem to keep restarting and having a hard time to fully devote and be disciplined with this diet. This has award-winning recipes but I only see a few that I want to try. Almond and Blackberry Smoothie (it seems a bit tangy sour with sweet, but will try and see how it goes)--This was good because I substituted "coconut water" for water. Watermelon and Mint water (which on another diet have done watermelon and mint together in a baggie with a little cayenne pepper which was hot and good)--I should try his instead of the one I know with lime, watermelon, and mint. Chicken, mushroom and vegetable soup--put pics on FB under account. This was delicious but I added seasoning while cooking chicken which was not recommended in recipe (only salt and pepper which seemed a bit bland to me). Creamy Chicken curry soup (but the ingredients seems a bit much or costly to me)--do not recommend this one using two cans of coconut cream (which I had to get in the Hispanic aisle at Safeway), I dumped the liquid and will eat with potatoes or rice (but cannot do on this diet). Next time do less coconut cream and mainly coconut milk or broth instead. Otherwise, it would be good. These I didn't try yet (may have to tweak again): Chop Suey with Chicken and Shrimps Stir Fried Snow Peas with Cashew Nuts and Shrimps Bean Free Beef Chili (may use turkey but without tomatoes and paste due to acid reflux) This does give me some ideas...and may try a few and see how it goes. I saw one with Chicken and carrots (baked) that I tried already in another "Whole Food" diet book, which was pretty good. I still add a bit more seasoning than it requires. Leisure read 2017

Interesting The writing and need for a proofread deserved three stars, but the sheer volume of recipes bumps it up the extra smidge.

Good explanation about whole foods and a meal plan for the 30 Day Whole Foods Challenge. I've only tested a few of the recipes and those I've tried were easy & quick. I eat a lot of veggies so this was great for me. Good explanation about whole foods and a meal plan for the 30 Day Whole Foods Challenge.
