4.5 stars! Samantha Towle has real talent when it comes to creating the perfect book boyfriend. Liam Hunter is pretty amazing and made this book for me! I really enjoyed this story and the way it played out. I thought it would be a huge tearjerker, and while I did shed a tear or two (I’m a softie, what can I say?) I also had lots of smiles and laughs and loads of sexy time. It was an all around great read! I’m going to die. And it’s a relief. Maybe I should rename my list to Things to 4.5 stars! Death is one of those things we all fear. No one wants to die. It’s a scary thing. For Taylor Shaw, death is not scary. It’s a relief. When you’ve lost everyone you care about what is there to live for? Taylor has a brain tumor and instead of receiving treatment she decides to work off her list until it kills her. It’s the ending she wants for herself. Nothing can change that. One of the first things on her list she crosses off straight away. Kiss a stranger. On her flight to England, she does just that. And what a stranger she picks!
Liam Hunter owns the airline they’re flying on. He is quickly taken by Taylor Shaw who he dubs Boston. He knows she has a list of things she wants to do and he wants to help her in any way he can to accomplish this. I loved Liam and Taylor together so much. Every scene with them in it made me happy. Liam Hunter is a man who will make you swoon and sigh. As I mentioned before, this book is super steamy. And although a lot of the things on Taylor’s list are sexual, there are so many that aren’t and those are the things that truly warmed my heart. This book was on the quick path to being a 5-star favorite but (view spoiler)[ I was so disappointed in Taylor- that she and Liam fell in love and she didn’t feel like she could live for him. A part of me understood- don’t get me wrong, but it’s not the way I wanted the story to go. (hide spoiler)] still, I was satisfied by the end and very happy with the way things turned out! The Ending I Want is a heartwarming, sexy and fun story about living life to the fullest, overcoming your fears, and finding love. Towle’s writing is wonderful as always and Liam Hunter is a guy you won’t want to miss out on! I definitely recommend this read! 4.5 stars!

Samantha Towle is just one of those authors that never fails to write a story that sucks you in from the beginning and then leaves a lasting impression on you when you are done. I know that I’m going to fall in love with the Hero of the story and to expect enough angst to satisfy my sadistic side. When you read the synopsis you can’t help but fear how it all will end but once you start reading it’s really hard to put this one down. Taylor Shaw is on a flight bound for London. She’s lost her entire family and blames herself for their demise. To top it all off, the brain tumor that she thought had been removed when she was sixteen has now resurfaced. This time, she decides to give up the fight and let the tumor take her so that she can be reunited with her family sooner rather than later. She believes this is her due penance. She’s going to London with her bucket list and plans on checking off every item on it within her two-week excursion. What Taylor didn’t count on was that the man sitting next to her on the plane would be the one to bring so much joy back into her life and make her want things she doesn’t think she has the right to have. Liam Hunter is one sexy as hell Brit! He also happens to be a self-made billionaire. He owns the airline that the two are currently passengers on, along with a slew of hotels and other business ventures. As soon as he takes the seat next to Taylor, the attraction is palpable between them. Their connection is sealed with a seriously HOT kiss!!! Taylor, out of nowhere grabs on to Liam and lays one on him and it gets downright panty melting within seconds. I love British book boyfriends because they always seem to be skilled at the dirty talk and somehow pull it off without being the least bit creepy. He happens to see Taylor’s list on the floor and picks it up and begins to read it. One of the first things on the list was to kiss a stranger. Then there are a few very sexual items as well and Liam being the gentleman that he is, offers to be of service to Taylor in order to help her check off those items. Well, let’s just say the man delivers on all his promises!! The schmexy is seriously OFF THE CHARTS HOT and there is a ton of it, but never did I feel like it was overkill. After their first night together, the two become inseparable. Liam seems to be so enamored of Taylor and vice versa. Liam makes it his duty to help Taylor to attempt to tick off all the items on her list. All the while Taylor struggles with her conscience, knowing that she doesn’t have long to live, but in her head, she rationalizes that the deep feelings that are starting to take over her heart are only one-sided. She believes that Liam is a player and will be done with her after the two weeks are up. We get a few added gems in the form of Jake Wethers and The Mighty Storm, and Carrick Ryan. They all make an appearance in this book and it was a nice surprise. As Liam and Taylor spend more time together it’s apparent that this is not just an ordinary fling for either of them and the question is, will Taylor come clean about her illness before it’s too late or will she continue on with her charade and be bound for Boston after their two weeks are up??? Get ready to fall in love with this story and the incredibly swoon-worthy, Liam Hunter!! You’ll either be attacking your hubby, boyfriend, or BOB while reading this one and there will be times you’ll even shed a tear or two. The book goes LIVE tomorrow!! Be sure to one-click! The story is very straightforward in that the heroine Taylor Shaw feels that her brain tumor has returned and that she has limited time in this world. She is actually relived by this fact since she harbors enormous amounts of guilt about the death of her family. She heads to London revising a list from her youth of things she wants to experience before she finally gets reunited with her family. ”…the tumor is back, and I’m ready to die. I’m ready to join my family. I just want to do a few things before I go.” To Taylor’s surprise her seatmate on the flight is none other than the owner of the airline and sexy bazillionaire, Liam Hunter. Liam was the best part of this story, I liked his background, his kindness, his dominance in the bedroom and thought Taylor was crazy lucky to get to spend her two weeks in London wrapped up in this yummy man. ”So, we’ll keep fucking for the two weeks you’re here because, for unknown reason, my cock likes you a lot. And when we’re not fucking, I’ll help you complete your list.” From this point on, they have TONS of sex and in between the abundant sex scenes they go on excursion after excursion. Thus I got bored with the story and just wanted something/anything else to happen. What I got at around 80 percent was a predictable course of events all the way leading till the end. I didn’t find this story emotional at all and just keep waiting for her health situation to be revealed and for them to face it in whatever way the author deemed it to go. Sadly, the story held no surprises for me and just stayed on the predictable course but it did however have one likeable hero, so there’s that! But the heart can be a selfish and foolish thing. And mine is certainly both. I have been sitting here for days trying to figure out how to rate this book. I adore Samantha Towle's books. The Mighty Storm is still one of my all times favorites. When I first read the blurb to The Ending I Want, I knew I had to read it. It sounded like exactly the highly emotional reads I love that would tug at every heartstring. Unfortunately, that's not quite what I got and what I had to sit and think on is expectation vs. reality. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it wasn't just reality not living up to expectations for me, it was my lack of connection with the characters and their story that ultimately brought my rating down. So what do I rate it? Ultimately I had to go with a 2.5 because it just didn't feel like a full 3 stars for me because aside from the first 15% and final 20%, I felt no emotional connection to the story whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it. Not by any means. But I didn't quite like it either. I had to push myself to finish, and that's what my rating reflects. You're mine, Boston, in every way that matters," he whispers. I loved the first 15%. The buildup, the chemistry between the characters, and then it progressively began to lose steam for me. The H and h connection was super quick, but still believable. I applaud the author in pulling that off because it's not easy considering they get together pretty much right away. I struggled with my connection to both Taylor and unfortunately even Liam. Taylor just never clicked for me. I didn't buy her reason for choosing to die. I wanted to feel her reasons and never did. This holds especially true with the decision she made at the end because it just didn't add up with what she kept saying for the entire book. I didn't buy it. It felt....dare I say...shallow. There's quite a bit of sex that happens in the book and ultimately it began to take away from the possible emotion it could have had. 15-20% the characters spend going on dates and having sex and I just wanted more. I wanted to feel Taylor's plight. I wanted the emotion, the angst. And yet it never came. Not really. Liam was incredibly sexy and enigmatic, but I struggled even with him. As much as I hate to use the word cliche, at times that's what he read like. A billionaire with a tragic past. Nothing really new for me here. I wanted more. (view spoiler)[First he suffers childhood neglect at the hands of his junky mother, then his mother dies, then his finance cheats on him and ALSO dies (hide spoiler)] . It was all too much. I'd almost rather he was an average Joe. I simply didn't need all that. I also found some of the dialogue, especially the sex talk, to be forced and stilted at times. It almost felt like those parts were written by someone else. I don't even know how to explain it, but it just felt...off. You're a little exhibitionist. I fucking love it. Just as much as I love your tight little pussy. ... One of these days, I'm going to fuck you where everyone can see. Where they can watch me fuck your hot, tight pussy." Don't get me wrong, it was really hot at times, but at other times it was almost cheesy in an OTT way. That's it, babe. Fuck my finger. Just like I'm going to fuck you with my cock. God, I want to fuck you now- so bad. .... I think we we both know that you and I are more than friends. I think my thumb up your arse while I was fucking you with my cock earlier on should have confirmed that fact to you. I spent the majority of the book waiting to be hit with the emotion that the blurb promises, and I barely got that in the last 20%. Unfortunately for me, by then it was simply too little too late. Now to be fair, the author does an amazing job with Liam. I truly felt for him and I loved getting his POV. I'll beg if I have to. If that's what you need to change your mind. I'll get down on my fucking knees and beg." I may not have fully connected with him in the story, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy him. Because I really did. Don't let my rating deter you from reading this and judging for yourself. Sometimes you click with a book and sometimes you don't, and sadly this fell into the latter category for me. Many people loved it; I'm simply getting too picky for my own good. I will without a doubt read any and all future books from this wonderful author. You can't love every book, even from your favorites, and this was my one fluke. I look forward to what miss Towle will write in the future. I don’t like to cry and I just knew this one would break my heart. Then I met Liam and I was blown away, he is sexy, confident and a dirty talker. I never saw it coming, never, and I couldn’t stop reading. With every page I fell in more and more in love with this guy who was just perfect. He was open, honest, funny and did I say sexy as sin. He was the absolute perfect balance to Taylor. She isn’t as confident as Liam, but now that her brain tumor has returned she is living differently. She has a list, Things to do before I die and that list is what ultimately changes her life. Kiss a stranger is how she meets the sexy Liam Hunter. You know I love Liam, I think I have made that pretty clear, but I actually loved Taylor too. Taylor isn’t perfect, but I felt such empathy for her and could see where she was coming from. This story is just something, it’s crazy to me that a book that can pull such strong emotions from me is also so unbelievably sexy and funny. It’s such a contradiction, but it’s true. Liam and Taylor’s relationship starts off completely physical and it’s off the charts hot. I loved their banter and chemistry, you could just feel their connection. Then the way this story is written, with so much heart and emotion it allowed me to feel for them. I swear this book is just more, I loved it. There are books I love so much I can only hope my reviews do them justice and this is one of them. I want the world to know that this book is everything you want in a read, it’s unforgettable, it’s emotional, but also has moments of real humor, it’s just perfect. Absolutely recommend! She blames herself for her family dying and because of that guilt she's given up on life. She doesn't feel she has anything to live for...so why live at all. When she realizes the brain tumor she thought she was rid of has returned, she accepts it and decides it's time for her to die. There's no fight left in her, so she decides to complete the list she started at sixteen, the first time there was a possibility she wouldn't beat the tumor, and join her family in the afterlife. Heading to England where her parents met and fell in love is first on her list. Facing her fear of flying she gets on a plane and sets off for her last adventure. And while on the plane she updates her list since she hasn't thought of it since she was younger. With the help of the stranger she gets to check off another item, kiss attack-kiss a stranger. The stranger turns out to be Liam Hunter, gorgeous owner of the airline and also a hot English accent. She never counted on meeting someone like him, and especially not when she's counting on not having a future. But sometimes plans need to change, and Liam may be the perfect person to show her that. Have you ever read a book that just made you so happy you couldn't stop smiling? This was that kind off book for me, and definitely not one I could read in public because I was smiling like a loon. Taylor and Liam were so perfect together and it made me ridiculously happy that I had to grin at almost every page I read. I really liked that I could be that euphoric because of a book that should actually be sad. Not that there weren't some very emotional times, but the author kept this light and joyful even with such a depressing premise. I thought it was wonderful how she did that, to be honest. I enjoyed getting Taylor's story and seeing her work through the guilt that was eating at her was very captivating. I felt like she was a very complex character because you had to really try to acknowledge the reasons behind her motives and get to know every part of her character to understand why she was giving up. It was fun seeing how her character developed and getting her thoughts along the way. Liam was amazing and makes me want to fly to England to try and find someone just like him. I loved him so much and he brought all the sexiness to this story, which was perfect. The main focus was on Taylor, but Liam was still right there in your mind the whole time and I'm glad he wasn't pushed to the back. Instead of just helping Taylor with her list he helped her grow as a person, and in that, he himself grew to be more trusting and loving. It was beautiful to see how much he cared for someone after just one crazy meeting on a plane. The majority of the story was told in Taylor's POV and focused on her, but near the end we got Liams and I fell even more in love. I very much enjoyed getting his thoughts and seeing how he reacted to everything and I thought it was the perfect ending to this story. Bottom line, loved this story and how heartfelt it was. Liam and Taylor were so sweet together and you will be swooning over Liam by the end of the first chapter. I highly recommend this story.

I fully expected an overwhelming emotional read and it certainly became that as my tears flowed at certain moments but in addition the pages gave me a gorgeous mix of a girl living in the moment, falling in love and having fun, depicting the human capacity to engage in the present with courage and strength. I felt a strong mix of melancholy feelings, overwhelming sadness, warmth and mainly, in direct contrast, I smiled throughout much of this STANDALONE novel juxtaposing against the serious plot at the heart of the story. Liam Hunter, mega-rich SEXY business man, owner of planes and hotels, a down to earth, understated and completely charismatic English man. His past emerges as the story evolves depicting a tragic and moving upbringing. Quite honestly, the more I read and discovered about Liam Hunter, the more I loved him. His swoonsome, caring, witty personality and Brit-isms are perfect. NOBODY writes a Brit hero better than a Brit and Samantha Towle flies the flag perfectly, matching him with a gorgeous sexy American girl ten years his junior with a list of things she has to do before its too late. Taylor Shaw is on a quest to seek relief from her thoughts, her guilt and her life of loneliness. If I'm 100% honest I wasn't sure I'd buy into her reasoning and motivation but, oh my goodness, I totally did! I felt her fear, her strength and her love. The writing depicts a girl who feels compelled to put the past right and believes she has the perfect opportunity. Some may consider her selfish but in reality she's just a girl seeking peace in her mind and heart and I felt it through the depth of the writing. As both characters develop through the story arc, the emotions and angst of the piece fully emerge. Liam and Taylor understand the terms of their relationship. A fun holiday in England for her and then they’ll go back to their respective lives. The opening pages and manner in which the protagonists meet is highly engaging and light-hearted in tone, despite the serious theme at the core of the story. The banter of the hero and heroine is on point and continues to shine, along with their personalities, as the story weaves its layers. The further I delved into the story arc the deeper the emotion felt, mirroring the gravity of the themes. The supporting cast of characters all add to the story in some form or another and potentially provide reading treats for fans of Samantha Towle. The story is told in the first person narrative and mainly delivered from the perspective of the heroine. Readers are also fortunate enough to garner the perspective of Liam Hunter which is where my love for this story grew exponentially. Any uncertainties I may have had simply fell by the wayside and became inconsequential compared to the depth I felt for this story, the way it made me feel and the characters it portrays. There are readers who may take issue with the speed at which this couple form a relationship and develop from lust to more but, because of the acute situation that's showcased; I was totally convinced by the rapid intensity of their relationship, the magnification of it all and the ethos of not wasting a moment. I LOVE the voice of this author, it resonates clearly with me making THE ENDING I WANT a story I highly recommend to all ROMANCE readers, especially those looking for a British hero and a perfect STANDALONE. Samantha Towle is an author that I religiously follow since her she released the Mighty Storm series. I think her ability to create a romantic and seamy love story is amazing and she definitely knows how to get her reader’s attention. This story was no exception: it was an ansgty romance filled with steam and emotional moments and grabbed my attention from the first page. To be honest I felt that at times the sex scenes were so frequent that almost stole the attention from the main story, and despite completely loving the hero (seriously, Liam was freaking amazing) with all the drama surrounding Taylor’s condition, Liam didn’t need such a dramatic background as well. Overall, this was a sweet and emotional romance, with an amazing hero and if you’re in the mood for some tears and heartwarming moments, this book is definitely a good choice. Rating: 4 Stars. My feelings on this one are very similar to the only other book I've read by this author, When I Was Yours. I really, really enjoyed it! But at the same time, it is fairly predictable and I could see it not appealing to other readers. The novel takes place over two weeks so it's essentially insta-love, but it didn't really feel like that. In the beginning, it's very much about lust. I mean she kisses h 4.5 stars... I really, really enjoyed it! But at the same time, it is fairly predictable and I could see it not appealing to other readers. The novel takes place over two weeks so it's essentially insta-love, but it didn't really feel like that. In the beginning, it's very much about lust. I mean she kisses him within five minutes of meeting him... "It's just good manners to apologize when you've kissed a guy you don’t know without any warning." They agree to keep it casual and I genuinely got the impression that it was a slow falling. It appeared fast because it was fourteen days, but they literally spent that entire time together. It wasn't like a date here and there... they had a lot of time, therefore it didn't feel like insta-love to me. And even though it seems like a tear-jerker, I only cried once or twice. The first 80% of the book is relatively light given the situation. I think it's because she's not actually sad about dying. Sure, as the novel goes on and she starts to care for Liam she wishes things were different, but ultimately (and for her own reasons which might be a stretch for some) she is ready to die so she's not really dwelling on things. Like I mentioned, it is predictable and Taylor's reasoning might annoy some, but I think what really sold it for me was Liam. He was very sweet and he did so many wonderful things for Taylor. And even though I can't put my finger on what I liked about Taylor, I did still like her. The writing style is also a little different, there's a lot of breaks and while it probably should have bugged me, it didn't. Ultimately this is one you might have to download a sample of (or read better reviews than mine) to really decide if you'll like it, because I honestly can't explain why I enjoyed this so much. Between the sweet romance and how fast-paced it was (I never felt bored, which has been a problem lately), plus the sexy scenes ;) I just really liked it <3 And I've really become a fan of this author! Safety: (view spoiler)[Liam was a bit of a manwhore when he was younger, but I didn't get a disgusting impression off him now. He does have a deceased fiancé, but she was cheating on him and he doesn't really pine for her (he claims he never loved her either). Plus he constantly references Taylor as being "more" than Kate (his fiancé).Taylor means so much more to me, even in the short space of knowing her, than Kate ever did in the six years we were together. There is no one like Taylor. She’s one of a kind. My one of a kind.Taylor slept around with a few guys but never had a serious relationship. (hide spoiler)] Closure: (view spoiler)[There is an epilogue six months later and Liam proposes to Taylor. Taylor had the surgery she needed and the tumor is gone, so barring any complications or relapse, she's fine. *I do want to note that the epilogue begins with a funeral and we are (briefly) meant to assume it's Taylor's, and maybe it's because I always know (or try to) if an MC dies before going into a novel but I didn't like that aspect. It just felt like unnecessary. (hide spoiler)]

She will probably read it too... I am serious, this blew my mind. Just like that. It's no secret that I am a HUGE Samantha Towle fan. She is an amazing storyteller, always original and she never disappoints. Whenever her book is out, I get super excited and basically leave everything and start reading. Same thing happened here. I devoured this in the matter of hours, and if I could give this books 10 stars, I would. It's only May, but I already know that this book will be in my top five for this year. I actually think I'm in love with this story. Does that make any sense? I don't know where to start. This was simply perfect. Emotional roller coaster at its best. Heartbreak, love, angst... all combined together. Taylor has a brain tumour. Don't let this diagnosis scare you off. This is wonderful story of healing and growth. So, Taylor has a bucket list of all things she wants to accomplish before she dies. Her story starts on a flight to London where she gets seated next to a gorgeous stranger. One of the things on her bucket list is - Kiss a stranger. You see where I'm going? Hot guy beside her is a STRANGER... and he has a name. Liam. He is british, panty melting hot, confident and happens to own airline Taylor is flying with. So yeah, he is filthy rich, but that's not the point here. At one point, Liam will become so much more. He will be her lifeline. He will make her want to live. Their relationship starts as a casual one. Completely physical, without necessarily demanding or expecting the extra commitments. They decide to spend two weeks together, and after their time is up, Taylor is flying back home. Soon enough, they realise that is not an easy task. I won't reveal anything else. I loved the dialogue. It was funny, at times sad, but so well written. Their chemistry was off the charts from the very beginning. Read this. You won't regret it.

I have to be truthful though I've had to think on my rating as I had a few little niggles and that's the only reason it's not 5... Saying that this was a great read.. Onto the review Taylor had a happy life, full love and a supportive loving family and then when she got to sixteen she got a brain tumour, but on recovering she then lost her WHOLE family.. Yes whole being once whole and then NOT.. Mean't that she didn't really have anything else to live for and then years later she see's the symptoms again and knows that she is again suffering with another tumour.. But this time she decides to take her own life into her own hands and let the tumour take effect.. So she has one last wish list to do and live and breathe and enjoy LIFE first.. Liam is loaded as it were, he's a business man but you know what I loved about him?? Aside from his money, and be the owner of several business's he is also down to earth and has an endearing, caring and nurturing side to him. I suppose that had me turning the pages.. He made the book for me and yes more so than the heroine actually.. I just loved the person he is.. Because hands down this character is a man who built a future for himself.. He worked his ass off but he knows how to love and so therefore when Taylor and Liam meet there are fireworks at initial instant because he's a man who loves woman and she has a list to conquer.. How do they meet? Yes on an aeroplane yes one Liam owns and so Taylor kisses Liam LOL straight of the bat.. So that was the first thing off her list ticked off. So then embarks on a relationship set off by fun, sex and insta lust I suppose.. "I feel alive. For the first time in a really long time, I feel alive. And it's because of him. I'm smiling and laughing and doing something that scares the crap out of me. I'm living because of Liam. My thoughts The first 80% of the book is sexy and a fun enjoyable read. Samantha storytells a picture of two people who fall in love.. And how Liam teaches Taylor how to live, brings people into her life whereas she lives and breathes, FUN and Liam Liam Liam. Talk about sex on a stick. He's alpha, dominant in the bedroom and so very loving.. Although he is a businessman and knows his own body he is such a loving man.. Love So why not 5? There is ALOT of sex and although I need that in the majority of my reads, is there ever too much? I felt so here.. Cause at parts I suppose it lacked the emotional read I was expecting.. Don't get me wrong the last 20% had it all and because of that I felt full and happy In the end. I just feel this wasn't the read I was expecting and so it didn't have the 5 star quality I was expecting... This is a fun read and could have had more depth to it (just my opinion) (view spoiler)[I also was annoyed with some of Taylor's reactions and untruthfulness.. That wound me up especially when Liam took his time and care with her.. (hide spoiler)] Anyhoo I enjoyed it lots, and 4 stars is still good guys so don't let my small hang ups deter you. So yes I hands down will recommend it and hope you guys enjoy it likewise.. as I LOVE this author.. I'm super excited to meet her next month too.. Woop sorry had to add that In LOL just know it's not a hugely emotional read is all.. I read this in one sitting and I couldn’t get enough of the story and characters. I simply loved and devoured this one. You should too. Taylor had cancer in the past and she believes its back. She doesn’t want to go through treatment again and so she decides to finish her revised bucket list from when she had cancer for the first time. I usually cringe when the Heroine of any book is dying, but this one was different. I liked that Taylor has already had cancer and I liked that she didn’t want treatment again; it was a realistic reaction and I LOVE any book with a bucket list. She meets a stranger on her flight to England and she soon realizes he can help her achieve her list. Liam is rich, successful and is completely intrigued by Taylor. He wants to have a vacation fling with her and so for the next two weeks they have fun. I love Liam! I love everything about him. I found him adorable, handsome and a perfect book boyfriend. I love how he wants to make Taylor happy and he has the means to do it. Like I said, this book isn’t depressing or dramatic, yes it gets serious from time to time, but overall, it’s a beautiful story about living life and forgiving yourself. The best thing about this book was the relationship between Taylor and Liam. There was no angst, no crazy tension. It was just a nice read about two people getting to know each other. I really loved this book and I hope you do too. AMAZON

I kind of went into this book with a bit of misconstrued thoughts as to the type of book The Ending I Want would be. Between the title of the book and the blurb, I was bracing myself for the mutha of a sad and angsty plot. I mean, it's apparent, right? The ENDING I want? Although the book ramped up on emotion and angst towards the end, the bulk of the story is rather light hearted, exciting, and steamy. Liam Hunter is the owner of several multi-billion dollar companies in England. He meets our heroine, Taylor Shaw, on a flight from Boston to London. Sitting in coach seating, the dishwater blonde next to him attracts his immediate attention by planting a kiss on him. She's beautiful and feisty and refreshing and he can't seem to get enough of her in those seven short hours flying across the pond. She's got a list and he intends to help her check each item off. Kiss a stranger- check! Taylor's tumor is back and she has no intention to fight it again. She's lost her entire family and just wants to see them in heaven. It's her duty and penance for what happened to them. It's her fault. So she writes a list, What to do before I die and hops on a plane to London to see where her parents fell in love. When the sexy man in a suit plops down next to her, she see's and feel's the necessity to check off the Kiss a stranger item. She just doesn't expect that kiss to be returned with so much crazy lust and passion. Liam Hunter was the highlight for me in this book. He's rich and beautiful and the perfect Prince Charming for a dying young Taylor. Ten years her senior, he makes it his two-week goal to help check off each item on her list. He has zero idea that a tumor is growing inside her skull so their time together is carefree and filled with unquenchable lust. And wow, lust-worthy is Liam. I think this is what I least expected here- the steam factor. This book is pretty darn smoking hot. The two of them, for being strangers, seem to fit together perfectly in so many ways. Taylor wants to just live her final weeks or months in happiness and Liam is attracted to that fancy-free nature of her. He takes a long-past-due holiday from work and devotes his time to this feisty girl who wants to dye her hair pink...or purple. Although I expected my heart to be ripped from my chest here, I still really enjoyed this novel (that sentence doesn't sound right. I'm a masochist, so sue me). When I expect heavy and I get lighter and steamier, it's not all bad. Once I got over that, I fell for Liam the most. The man was perfection for Taylor and I almost felt he deserved more than he got from her. He deserved Taylor's honesty (view spoiler)[ and he didn't get it until his heart was 100% invested and for that, I really have issues. Not for her lack of divulging her illness but for blatantly lying to him when he asked about it. Lying by omission I might have gotten past, but to look a man in the eye and lie to him when you know you're both falling in love? No. Just no. (hide spoiler)] This is why I deducted a star. I was mad at her. And I hold an awful grudge even when she redeems herself. Overall I still really liked The Ending I Want a ton and I would recommend it for a reader looking for a bit of angsty tug at the heartstrings (because it does ramp up on the emotional side towards the end). It's fun and flirty, hot and spicy and touching all put together. Well done. Advanced copy received by author in exchange for my honest review. Graphic taken from the author, SAMANTHA TOWLE.

★★★ 3 Stars ★★★ This was a cute story and perfect for an easy read to pass by an afternoon. Going in, I thought it might be a bit of a heartbreaker, but it was more a story about hope and letting go of the past. The star of the show was without a doubt our hero, Liam. He was a gorgeous, rich and generous guy, who fell for a sassy Bostonian on his flight home to London. Taylor has a list, one that she wants to complete before she dies. Having survived a brain tumor at 16, she is left with the guilt ★★★ 3 Stars ★★★ This was a cute story and perfect for an easy read to pass by an afternoon. It was an enjoyable story, but it wasn't until the last 20% that it really picked up for me on the emotional side, and the plotline expanded into something more than Liam and Taylor ticking off her bucket list and shagging (lots). Liam Hunter is flying home to London he sits next to Taylor and they have an unconvential way of breaking the ice they start talking and Liam steals the list and reads it and he tells Taylor that he can help her with her list especially the sex stuff. When they arrive in London they get straight to the sex stuff. They spend all their time together either having lots and lots of scorching hot sex or Hunter showing Taylor the sights of London and crossing things off her list as the days go by. While reading I was dying to know what would happen when Hunter found out the truth of what Taylor was keeping from him and if they had a chance of a future together. I loved Hunter he is a classic bossy alpha with a filthy mouth and I found his jealousy cute. Taylor I felt for her the guilt she was dealing with over her family broke my heart and she was determined to face all her fears and making the most of the time she has left with her dream guy. This was the perfect mix of emotion. laughs and steam and I especially loved that we get some Jake Wethers I was fangirling reading that chapter and that epilogue WOW that scared me, it was the ending I wanted HA

And it doesn't hurt that right off the bat, the gorgeous, rich hero sits right next to her and she "surprise" kisses him and oh, what a kiss that was! (Why doesn't this happen in real life?!) Bottom line? Taylor had a brain tumor and she thinks she has another one and is going to die. She's happy about it because her whole family is dead and she will get to see them again. She wants to ask their forgiveness because she believes she was responsible for their deaths. And we get to hear this over and over and over again. (seriously...think getting hit in the face with a cold dead fish = same thing) But Liam? He is yummy in all the right places. He snatches her list and decides to make them all happen and hey, why not start with the most important one....as in, "Hey baby, when we get off this plane, come on over to my apartment and I'll fulfill your request for some awesome oral sex?" No. Lie. (and yes, she accuses him of being a possible serial killer. There are some hilarious lines.) So, since she's dying, why the hell not? It's win win for her and this leads to many wonderful and sweet adventures Liam comes up with for Taylor or Boston as he likes to call her. (she's from Boston you see.) Naturally, she falls for him but she doesn't want to especially because she hasn't exactly been honest. And as they share more and more about themselves, she realizes she really can't be honest. However, she does have these crazy headaches that she needs pills for. (and Liam isn't exactly clueless.) The story is mostly told in Taylor's POV but luckily towards the end we get Liam's. Which I was thrilled about, I just would've loved to get a last POV from Taylor. (because you know, it would've been great to read how she felt about the way things turned out.) And there's some cameos by our favorite boys, Jake Wethers and Carrick Ryan. I just had to laugh at Taylor's enthusiasm and Liam's jealousy! (and I'd be right there with her!) Overall, interesting concept and I loved how the two characters had a lot more in common than it seemed. It was great seeing them fall in love and work through things. LOVED Liam's relationship with his grandfather, Bernie...that was so sweet! Of course, there's some angst (would've loved more) but it ends well. So only minus points for the cold, dead fish thing and some of the parts were a little over the top. (but I can forgive that because of all the hot, steamy sex....phewww!) ;)

I loved Liam and Taylor and grandpa and Liam's buddies. And of course Jake Wethers has a little part in here too.... also Carrick Ryan☺ I loved that. What I didn't love.... A few things about the writing. That's probably a problem with brits writing american characters. Samantha writes SO LONG AS... I hate that expression - for me it has to be AS LONG AS - but I can live with one character saying it - but the other character - the one from another country CANNOT say that too. Same with EVEN STILL at the beginning of a sentence - it's ok for the brit to say it, but the american should say something else! And then - for what I didn't like about the story.... The whole 'I-want-to-die-so-that-I-can-see-and-hug-my-family-again-and-ask-them-for-forgiveness!' UGH!!!! I hate religion of any kind and this just bothered me so much. Samantha could've changed it into Taylor wanting to die because she feels guilty and she's dying anyway et cetera. But doing is this way is horrible and even dangerous for people who might be in situations like that - they might now think that it's not too bad to die - you will see your loved ones again - you can hug them and talk to them ... BULLSHIT! Once you're dead, you're dead. There's not gonna be a happy family reunion with everybody and Elvis! Sorry - anti-religion rant over! Another thing....a lot if moments in this book seemed verrrry Fifty Shade-ish, like Sam had just re-read FSOG before starting to write this book! Even though it doesn't sound like it - I REALLY LOVED THIS STORY - I finished it in one day! It was verrrry erotic and funny and adorable and moving!! Please don't let me stop you from reading it - I'm just weird with some things! ☺ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Thank you! ☆ "Falling in love might not have been on my list...but I'm glad I fell in love with you, Liam." The Ending I Want was much more bright and upbeat than I had thought it was going to be. I must of read it is one or two separate sittings, in between having to break to pick up my nephew from preschool and private life happenings, and it was severely addicting and intriguing. I did not want it to end. Imagine yourself an orphan dying from a brain tumor. Now at the clutch of death, you decide to go back to where your parents first met and fulfill a bucket life of things you want to do before you die. And while on the plane ride to your destination, you meet that one that changes everything and who makes you want to live. What would you do? And with time against your side, what ending would you choose for yourself? Samantha Towle's The Ending I Want was a poignant and beautiful tale of love, renewed hope, taking risks, and the mortality of life and all of its bliss and uncertainties. It encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown even if it scares you half to death. "I'm smiling and laughing and doing something that scares the crap out of me. I'm living because of Liam. And that thought alone brings with it a whole new brand of fear in me. A fear that terrifies me in a way that I have never known before." Liam was pure book boyfriend material and Taylor was a realistic ailing heroine fulfilling a few lifelong and spur of the moment wishes before she leaves the earth. Honestly those who are pondering whether to pick this novel up, PLEASE DO!! I thoroughly relished the journey of Liam and Taylor-- the growth they inspire in one another--- and their unparalleled chemistry that was 'unsurpassable.' Yep, I made up my own word with that one. lol "I would have stayed because I'm pretty sure I was in love with you from the moment you surprise-kissed me on the plane. You had me instantly."

Not really a new concept but still nice.....BUT..............BUT........... BUT! what this book had was 5% of the description and 90 % of sex talk or sex and another 5% of actually something happening. no it wasnt a adult rated book but it was everything surrounding the subject. now i dont mind such books only if that was what i wanted to read, here i didnt. plus it wasnt even nicely executed so well...nah.....boring! Plus the characters seemed off too....the leads were 32 and 22 year olds but all i could think of was they were 16 and 14..... i wish i had something good to say about this book but i dont. wait no , the cover is nice :) Thats all i got. Again, this is my POINT OF VIEW!, no offense to people who liked it! WOULD I READ THIS BOOK AGAIN SOMEDAY: NO WOULD I READ ANOTHER BOOK BY THE SAME AUTHOR: NO Happy reading :D

She just wants to go to London, complete the things she wants to do and then, come back to Boston to die. As always, fate has other plans for her... Taylor has a tumor in her brain... again. But this time her family is not with her. Her parents and siblings are all dead. Taylor blames herself for the accident they died in so now she thinks she owes them to die. She wants to go to the other world to meet them and say she is sorry. Taylor has a list of THE THINGS TO DO BEFORE SHE DIES. That's how Taylor and Liam meet, as her first item in the list was "Kiss a stranger". And from that point on, that stranger does his best for her to complete the list, without knowing she is sick. Unfortunately, her list is too lame for a person who is dying, full of things like "Kiss a stranger, have sex outside, go to a rock concert, get a tattoo, dye your hair pink, dance in the rain. etc". Whatever, it is intended to be a light and fun read, I guess. There are many emotional and romantic moments in this sweet and hot love story of Taylor and Liam. Don't worry, it is not a depressive book; on the contrary, it is mostly hot and fun. He looks like Clark Kent without the glasses, which would mean he looks like Superman—the Henry Cavill version. Superman in a suit. Lord, help me. Everything is kind of light light in the first three quarters of the book and then, it gets a little bit sad for a short period of time but the ending is (view spoiler)[a happy one (hide spoiler)] . The characters are likable and the story is OK. The story goes where you think it goes with no surprises. It is very predictable. It is kind of a fairy tale for the ones who like them. Laughter bubbles up inside me, and I have to cover my hands over my mouth to curb the noise. I can’t believe I’m here, doing this. Crazy but amazing. Well, I wanted to live before I died. Do those things on my list. Tonight is the start of that. The first half of the book is told by Taylor whereas the second half of it is told by Liam. ********************************************* You can follow my Instagram page from here

What a wonderful book! The Ending I Want was such a refreshing, fun, sexy, yet emotional read all in one! I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end. I’m still thinking about Liam & Taylor and their sexy romance! Taylor is 22 years old and has already been through tragic events. At 16 she survived a brain tumor that nearly took her life. At 18 she lost her entire family in a fire; which she blames herself for. Now at 22 her severe headaches and symptoms are back. She knows she is dying but What a wonderful book! Taylor is 22 years old and has already been through tragic events. At 16 she survived a brain tumor that nearly took her life. At 18 she lost her entire family in a fire; which she blames herself for. Now at 22 her severe headaches and symptoms are back. She knows she is dying but doesn’t want to reach out for help. She wants to die and be with her family again. Before dying she wants to complete her bucket list. Things she wants to do before she dies. One being going to London and second kiss a stranger. So why not kiss the hot guy sitting next to you on your flight? And that turns out to be Liam. Liam is just everything you want in a man!!! Hot, sexy, rich, funny, and romantic!!! I usually don’t go for books where two people meet and have sex right away but it really works with this story & characters. Liam doesn’t know about Taylor’s tumor. She just wants to have fun. So they make an arrangement of two weeks together. Just fun. No commitment. I just adored reading all the things Taylor and Liam do to mark it off their list. Yes there is a ton of hot, raunchy sex. But there is a lot a lot of heart and romance. I would die if a man did those things for me like Liam did for Taylor. As the two weeks go on. Taylor’s tumors really advance. She makes a choice I don’t necessarily agree with. But this girl sticks to her guns and I admire her for that. The author created a really cute but emotional romance that was well written and adoring characters. Liam & Taylor both have a past they want to run from but I’m glad they found each other. I give The Ending I Want 4.5 stars!

So I was intrigued by the blurb and by reading the review of my friend Hanne https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... The cover is very beautiful, but the story is so much more! I was a fan from Liam right from the start, how could you not? Read this one and fall in love with Liam! Personally I would've liked a bit of a longer epilogue, but the ending is great and finishing. I would recommend this one to everyone, it's special, funny, sad and heartbreaking at times! But it's so worth their journey!

One of the random items from the list was crossed the minute she locked her eyes and lips with him – the handsome stranger sitting next to her on a plane. Cause what the heck, she's got nothing to lose but the limited time. I can't tell him that I'm only that way because I have nothing left to lose, so I have nothing to fear. And I want to experience as much of everything that I can, even the things that scare me, before I go to my family Liam Hunter, never expected this tiny, sassy, vibrant woman sitting next to him, to invade every single of his pore, like almost as being enchanted by her. Through conversation and interaction, he sets his mind to „help“ her on her mission quest of „experiencing“ the things from her bucket list. We both know where we stand. Two weeks, and then we're done BUT this limited time they have unexpectedly intensifies the feels, even though their interactions were planned to be merely indulging the passion and sensuality of physical touch BUT truth to be told, some things you simply can't fight against Recently, I've found myself wishing for a lot of things. Things I have no right to wish for. But the heart can be a selfish and foolish thing. It's that comes-out-of-nowwhere-and-grabs-ahold-of-you love And then again, there are things you SHOULD be fighting for inspite every single odd against you, even those that are threatening and dooming with the final „ending“ Because I want this moment with him. The last list moment. But the only problem is she's determined to let go, she wants the END cause of the guilt, cause she feels that by letting herself NOT fight, and NOT live, she's paying her penance for the loss of her family. And the fear…of it all Liam will have to make her see that she has the ultimate reason to fight for inspite being afraid…to LIVE and LOVE. There's nothing wrong with being afraid. Everyone feels fear. But the day you let your fear control you is the day you stop living. REALLY living. I am a fan of Samantha Towle's writing. She brings the best anticipation into the mix and it always grabs me with a clenched fist and yet here, she managed to wrap up the sexy, heart warming romance with a touch of sad and insightful with a cherry of hope on top into a delicious pleasure with a swooning hero and a sassy, sweet heroine. I did feel a bit „down“ with the heroine's reluctance to give „life“ a chance, cause ultimately no one really wants to die if they have a reason to live for, no matter who or what that reason is. But that's only my humble opinion. :) For more info and reviews visit

This was such a great story and I couldn’t put it off. Easy to read, the characters were fun and flirty, but they have depth. Recommendation

While I didn’t completely love it, it’s certainly an emotional, if frustrating, read. While I can’t say there was anything particularly unique about the story or characters, if you’re a long-time fan of the author, you just might love this book! Taylor Shaw knows she’s dying. She had a brain tumor once at sixteen, and she knows it’s back again at twenty-two. But rather than sit passively waiting to die, she’s made somewhat of a bucket list that she’s determined to complete before the end. On her flight to London, she encounters the gorgeous Liam Hunter, with whom she completes the first item on her list: kiss a stranger. Turns out the chemistry between them gets hotter than ever after that kiss, and even though she knows she shouldn’t, she allows Liam to sweep her away on a whirlwind romance and adventure… all the while keeping her terminal illness a secret from him. I really wanted to love this book… but it only ended up an okay read. I liked some parts, but others frustrated me. I skimmed some of the steamy scenes because they were getting to be too much. The romance… well, I didn’t really FEEL the connection between Liam and Taylor. The lust is strong between them, but the love takes a little while to understand. Their whole trip takes less than two weeks, which meant it takes about a week for them to fall in love, which was a little too unbelievable to me. Still, I did enjoy the sweet, tender moments between them, and Liam is certainly an alpha hero. I liked that he was willing to do anything and everything for Taylor, and with his wealth, he certainly could. The Ending I Want might not be my favorite Samantha Towle read, but I’m still a big fan of hers and I look forward to more books from her! Thanks to the author for generously providing me an ARC to review. Amazon Ebook: http://amzn.to/1WWtOLM Liked this review? Subscribe to Booklovers For Life for more!

Would you be more open to new and exciting experiences instead of letting fear dictate your choices? Why aren't you living like that now then? These are questions that I asked myself reading this book. Taylor is on her way from Boston to London with a bucket list in her hand. She is hoping to scratch everything off her list in the next two weeks, then she will return home to die. She is planning on sacrificing her life in the belief that it will offer penance for the death of her family, she is choosing to die instead of fighting to live. Someone else is on that same plane with her and he may not have been on her bucket list but this chance meeting with him makes this list an itinerary that he intends to help her fulfill. Liam Hunter is happy to help Taylor out, she is beautiful and there is this incredible attraction between them that he wants to explore. Slowly but surely, Taylor finds herself opening up a bit to Liam. He is making her feel like her tragic past is more bearable to talk about, a problem shared is a problem halved and all that. She is however holding back on her plans to have the ending she wants. Liam is opening up to a woman for the first time in years. He has his own demons to bear and meeting Taylor has completely changed everything. She is showing him the world through her eyes and he has never met someone so carefree and open to just living. It seems that they are slowly putting each other back together but the end is nigh and Taylor knows she can't leave London without confessing her truth. Can I just say that this was a highly emotional read but the first half of this story is very naughty. As in hot, dirty sex. Liam is a very giving lover with a very high stamina and I loved every intimate moment between him and Taylor. However, I also cried a lot in the last 25% because I am a very emotional reader and I was so sad for both of them. This was also a sweet and romantic love story that I absolutely loved!
