First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free paperback copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, MISTLETOE REUNION THREAT is the fourth book in the Rangers Under Fire series, but it easily stands alone. I haven't read any of the other books in it and had no trouble keeping up. As per usual with these books, the heroine is always underfire and has no hope of hiding even through she is taken to a variety of places. And also as per usual, I figured out who the bad "guy" is right away First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free paperback copy of this book. All opinions are my own." As per usual with these books, the heroine is always underfire and has no hope of hiding even through she is taken to a variety of places. And also as per usual, I figured out who the bad "guy" is right away and how "he" always knew where she was, but I didn't know "why". A clue did come toward that end about midway through the book, but I wasn't sure if that was the total reason or just a nugget, and you know, those with curious minds... we want to know "why?" Fans of Love Inspired Suspense will surely devour MISTLETOE REUNION THREAT and be anxious for Ashlyn to not only find her son, but also to reunite with her college sweetheart, Garrett--if she survives that is. Non stop action that is sure to keep the reader on the edge of their seats.

Its the season to believe and the season to forgive. And this book is a great reminder of how our faith and forgiveness can save our hearts. I was moved by such a stunning single mom. Will they live to see another Christmas? Wow, what an exciting read! I just couldn't put the book down! Exciting, action-packed, suspenseful, and nary a moment to catch your breath. Mistletoe Reunion Threat is a wonderful romantic suspense read, with a Christmas thread, and I highly recommend it, and any of Virginia Vaughan's other thrilling books. I know I've read a few of the books in the Rangers Under Fire Series, but Mistletoe Reunion Threat has to be one of my favorites. My mind kept jumping from suspect to suspect and then when the culprit was finally revealed I was more than a bit surprised. And he didn't even know he had a son! But once he found out, Garrett I know I've read a few of the books in the Rangers Under Fire Series, but Mistletoe Reunion Threat has to be one of my favorites. Ashlynn over came obstacles in her past that has made her an inspiring figure in town. She is an ADA. Her son Jacob is only 4 years. Ashlynn comes home and finds that someone has kidnapped her son and killed her babysitter. The book takes you through the tragedies that she has to face in her past and future. She is on a journey to find her son and someone is actively trying to kill her at the same time. A good book that will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through. This story has a great plot idea; however, it falls flat when it comes to character development and certain parts of the plot. What type of search and rescue organization does Garret work for? Why does he need so many weapons, night vision googles, etc ready at any moment? Then there's the fact he keeps saying he won't leave Ashlynn alone because someone keeps attacking her, yet he leaves her alone again and again. Virginia Vaughan knows how to keep your attention. Mistletoe Reunion Threat starts off with a car bomb and it only gets scarier from there. Garrett and Ashlynn shared a past but their future was interrupted. Five years later their paths reconnect. This is a story of trust lost and regained. A story of faith rediscovered. A story of anger and revenge. A definite must read book in the Rangers Under Fire series. Be ready to read this in one sitting, you won't want to put it down. Lots of intrigue in this faith-based Christmas novel! The characters are strong and very easy to relate to, and the plot is exciting as we second guess every person they think they can trust because someone is obviously deceiving them! A big lesson in forgiveness of others and even in yourself plays a big part in the dynamics of this book. Mistletoe Reunion Retreat is the fourth book in the Rangers Under Fire series by Virginia Vaughn. From the very beginning, I was pulled in by the suspense created in this story. Once again, Virginia created an edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next story with a well thought out plot that keeps you guessing until the very end. I really enjoyed this story. I received an advanced copy of this book and all the opinions are my own.

I didn't particularly like Ashlynn though I understand what made her the way she was. She did change by the end of the story which is why I gave this one 4 stars.
