I like the way Squirrel Girl is drawn in Squirrel Girl comics but at least the Howard artists didn't make her boob-a-licious or you know.. leggy. That please me. Mr. Biggs is the best cat in the world! Wolverteeny AKA Weapan II needs his own book. And Howard saves the day... well... kind of. Totally two thumbs and squirrel tales up! This was amazing. In so many ways. And now I sort of want to see Doreen and Kraven in a relationship. Is that weird? It's weird. This was amazing. In so many ways. And now I sort of want to see Doreen and Kraven in a relationship. Is that weird? It's weird.

Not gonna lie: this did nothing to make me think I would ever want to pick up Howard the Duck. But I am super glad that this issue was included in the collected Squirrel Girl because I wanted to see how the story ended. I still prefer squirrel girl with her own crew than with Howard the Duck, but also I REALLY want Squirrel Weapon 2 to show up more often.

This was an unfortunately underwhelming conclusion to the Animal House story that started in Squirrel Girl #6. What in Ryan North's hands was a clever and cute, self-aware crossover, under the Howard The Duck title became kind of a mess, and basically baldly appeared as the cliche overstuffed "guest" issue that it was. I appreciated the continuing development of Kraven's character, and it did have its moments, but it just wasn't Squirrel Girl. This was amazing from start until finish (hail, Kraven), but the last panel totally got me. I'm still laughing. This was amazing from start until finish (hail, Kraven), but the last panel totally got me. I'm still laughing.
