Some good nostalgia, though I'm admittedly always a little weary of 'the psychiatrist is actually evil' plot arcs. And that was one of the dumber traps the X-Men have literally walked in to. I have a soft spot for Jubilee, for whatever reason. Version I read (print, from library) has different cover art, though I'm pretty sure it's the same text. Barcode 75960608264300111. Okay. So this series is a continuation of the old x-men cartoon from the 90s, that opening theme song still gives me nostalgia!!! The artwork in this is great, they kept to the original designs of characters but the art makes it look more modern. Unfortunately the story was mediocre, for me the writing has to grab me by the first page, this kept me going till the end, but i walked away, not really impressed...

Without the benefit of nostalgia, this comes across really cheesy and poorly written with mediocre art. What a huge letdown. Please tell me the cartoon is better than this...
