    Simple smoothies that taste good I picked up this book not because I am vegan, as I am not, but I am always looking for new smoothie recipes that I might like. Vegan Protein Smoothies has a lot of recipes that are quite easy to follow with ingredients that for the most part can be found in your local supermarket. I will say that most of the protein is coming from seeds, nuts and non-dairy milk, so you have to have a high-powered blender to make a number of these recipes. I will say that most of the protein is coming from seeds, nuts and non-dairy milk, so you have to have a high-powered blender to make a number of these recipes. Overall I thought these were good and the few that I tried I enjoyed. There were recipes that were not for my taste buds but there were enough other recipes that were. Plus you can easily substitute some things that you might like better for some of the ingredients. My only issue is that the book does need a table of contents and could be formatted a bit better. But otherwise it is good. I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

    This is a great smoothie book. Easy to follow and great recipes. I’m not vegan but I have some allergies that cause me to eat closer to a vegan diet and I’m always looking for more options on recipes, especially smoothies. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves smoothies. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
