The plot was a simple one - the closure of the church and associated buildings to build a casino by a ruthless developer. One who had paid handsomely to get his vision across. The aim of the seniors to stop it, even if they had to lie through their back teeth to do so. Miracles, threats, tv shows and general conniving are all mixed into a mishmash that whilst entertaining shows that the money the seniors have help them in putting their plans in place. Does it work?
