This book establishes methods to enhance perseverance in business by helping the reader understand how to overcome negativity, the methods to improving everything, how to get past the cants, and embracing risk. We look at our society in this book as well and relate human knowledge to Ray Kurzweil’s Theory of Accelerating Returns and determine that if we properly pass information, experiences, and discoveries down to the next generation, humans to can see exponential growth in knowledge and innovation. One of my favorite quotes from Steve Job’s is in the early chapters and it really sets the tone for the way the entrepreneurs see the world. Defining what an entrepreneur is can be hard, but these words resonated with me. “Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… The ones who see things differently – they’re not fond of the rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the one thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Steve Jobs
