I love these books. Yes, you need to read "The Gathering" before embarking on the stories. After that, the books are pretty much stand alone reads. However, with this book, you really need to read "Kennedy: A Highlander Romance" before this book in order to fully appreciate and understand all that happened before this story and the relevance and the history behind the two lead characters. Having said that, you won't be sorry. I loved it. I love these books. Yes, you need to read "The Gathering" before embarking on the stories. After that, the books are pretty much stand alone reads. This is book 15 in the series. You will want to read the first short story, The Gathering, for the background of the Muir witch before you start the rest of the series. After that, each one can be read as a standalone . You will also need to read book 13 Kennedy before reading this story. It will all make more sense if you do. I won’t say much so as not to spoil anything, but this series of ghosts 👻 are wonderful. They will really hug at your ❤️. I will keep going in the series for sure.

Love among the centuries Can love survive over time? Some say yes? For how long? 200 years or more? Maybe? Such are the questions answered in Gerald. Can love transcend time and space? L.L.Muir gives us a glimpse in an extraordinary tale of Scotland's Romeo and Juliet reboot. Such a treat. Love among the centuries Can love survive over time? Some say yes? Fantastic I loved this book. Gerard fell in love with Assa after one day with her on the road to Cullodin Moor. But he would keep the memories of that last day with him for centuries until it was time his number was called. Instead of revenge, he wanted just one thing, to be able to hold her in his arms.

Wonderful ending ...to a story begun elsewhere. Gerard was a faithful hero, whose love endured through the ages, even when he was unsure that it was reciprocated or even what boon he would earn by completing his task, which he did gallantly. Love the elderly and interfering Muir Aunties!

Okay I was a little disappointed with this book. I was waiting to see if he would be reunited with the woman he fell in love with. Instead he goes through a whole bunch of family members, by members and Soni's crazy kinfolk. I can't really say what happens but it was sort of anticlimactic for me. Oh well, we have felled another ghostie. Okay I was a little disappointed with this book. I was waiting to see if he would be reunited with the woman he fell in love with. A private joke The Muir sisters enter the story and all logic leaves. Gerard searches for a girl with no last name in a small town in Scotland. When he finds a girl by that name, he must decide if she's the one. Her amnesia throws a twist in the tale. Is he the man of her dreams? I only planned to read a chapter before bed. Instead I stayed up to finish this. Good thing these books are short (about 112 pages)! I love the characters, and am very glad to see things work out for them.
