This was quick, an ok read but not great. The hero kind of bugged me with his constant joking. A lot of the dialogue was juvenile and was so not in keeping with bikers. Totally ridiculous. No clue why the heroine was a former Marine. She was temperamental, but certainly not a badass, and really it had nothing to do with anything. This story was really all about the outside suspense plots. Not much depth to either of the MCs. They apparantly have darkness in their backgrounds but it is never discussed or disclosed. So what is the point?! There was so little character development I just felt I was moving through scenes. Total HFN ending that was satisfying for the suspense plots, but not at all for the relationship! WTF?! Why 2 stars instead of one? Well they did a good thing and helped a woman and her child stuck in an abusive marriage. So I give props for a good message. Safety gang notes: They use condoms until they don't. "Because they trust each other" There is zero OW drama. Zippy. He bangs the nurse in the beginning and that is it. Considering there were a bunch Of scenes at their or another MC clubhouse, it was weird that there were no women around. Yep he is a manwhore. She dates, no Virgin, but I don't think she has dated in awhile.

Chemistry off the charts and a lot of chuckling reading this book. Well worth picking up.

This was not your average MC romance, because Ghost was anything but your average hero. The wise-cracking, sexy, wounded man made you want to laugh and slap him at the same time. I loved this book! Ghost has always been kind of a mystery and kept to the background. Reading more about him in this book was such a treat. He has such a sense of humor and more loyalty than anyone. He finally meets his match with Bridgett and the two of them together are perfection.

I received this for an honest review from the author through Hidden Gem. This is the first book I have read of Sienna Valentine. WOW!!!! This was an awesome read. I love biker books and books on bad boys. I love the approach she took on this story. Most stories you read are predicable. You basically know how it is going to end. I can tell you upfront that this book is not. I absolutely loved this book. When we think of biker boys we think of guys of course on bikes that are bad boys, lawbreakers, and a hard personality. Ghost McBride I really liked his character. He was the clown of the bunch. He was always joking and the guys did not take him serious. Don’t get me wrong, they knew if there was a job to do he was up for the task but there would be a few jokes along the way to lighten the mood. The fact that the guys did not take him serious comes back to bite Ghost. He learns that there is a time in which he must become serious and he also learns that he should trust his gut. I loved that there was so many sides that you got to see from Ghost. Though he was a bad boy and one that loved to fight; he also had a good heart. He would do anything to protect the ones close to him. He loved kids and had a way about him that caused kids to be at easy with him. I loved reading his interaction with the elder at the old folks home. Like I said there were many sides to Ghost. Bridget was very interesting and a perfect woman for Ghost if I had to say so myself. She was a Marine, well use to be and know enjoys teaching young children. She has a protectiveness about her that you will fall in love with. She adores her grandfather and cares deeply for the kids that she teaches. There ends up being a situation in which she feels she must intervene. The one thing I found funny about Bridget and Ghost is that Ghost was her voice of reasoning, I know you would think it would be the other way around. You will have to read the book to find out more about that. I will say this much that Bridget and Ghost were what each other needed. They both need a type of inward healing that they were about to find within each other. Of course it is a bad boy biker book so you will have some hot and steamy parts. Trust me when I say the author does not disappoint. When I read this book there were 2 extra books so get while the getting is good, because you will not want to miss reading those stories as well.

So Ghost McBride is a hilarious character; he’s so very real. I never get tired of reading about him. He hides the pain he suffered as a youngster behind humor, but for an enforcer-type MC member, he’s also got a solid gold heart, as evidenced in this book especially by his relationship with veterans at the retirement home, worry about Tommy after the motorcycle accident during a gun run, and efforts to save a young boy from physical abuse at the hands of his father. What can I say? I liked Ghost in Sanctum and Retribution, and I like him here in his standalone, Vindication. Bridget, his love interest, is a former Marine with a backbone made from steel. These two hit it off both in-between and outside the sheets, but I admit that I didn’t really like Bridget at the start. She seemed cold, even though she cares about her grandfather, she cares about her friends (even though she admits she never really got close to them) and she cares above and beyond for her students, especially Toby, who she suspects is being physically abused at the hands of his father. I never really sensed chemistry between Ghost and Bridget – I’d be more inclined to call it a combination of lustful physical attraction and genuine psychological attraction. She is a smart cookie and also appears smart enough to know that she should follow her heart and gut when it comes to Ghost. The two subplots, the negligent accident and Toby’s abuse, built up concurrently and realistically. Crafting the story based on a teacher was clever and somewhat different and offered the opportunity to expose Ghost’s many sides. Vindication is another easy and satisfying read from Sienna Valentine, a master at writing about interesting characters with suspenseful, well-formulated plots that hold your attention from start to finish! Are Tommy and Miranda up next? Tommy needs his own story after being introduced to him in Sanctum and following his exploits through Retribution and Vindication.

This is the first Sienna Valentine book I have read and I really enjoyed it. It is the 3rd book in the Black Dogs MC series, but it can definitely be read as a standalone. He takes care of a group of veterans at the Shadyside Retirement Community and is protective of children. He crosses paths with Bridget, who is the granddaughter of one of the guys he hangs with at the elderly home. She works as a teacher at an upper class private school, but is ex-military and doesn’t really fit into the upper class crowd. The first impression of Ghost is when he is “with” a nurse in the linen closet and he comes off as pretty cocky. Once he meets Bridget, we see just how confident, sexy and cocky he is, but he is determined to go out with her even though she does everything to shut him down. He turns out to be really sweet and romantic. I really enjoyed the book, but did have to ignore a major flaw in the plot. So early on, Bridget gets a call from someone and hears arguing in the back. She believes it is from her student Toby. Later she sees bruises on Toby and she doesn’t know what to do. Now this whole situation is critical to the storyline, but it is 100% unbelievable. My mom was a teacher for 25 years and they are under an obligation to report any signs of child abuse to the authorities, which I would say bruises would fit the bill, so it was hard for me to ignore that flaw. I had to tell myself to ignore it for the sake of the story, but it was a pretty big flaw. That being said, I did enjoy the characters and the connection they developed and would love to read more from the series! VINDICATION - GHOST AND BRIDGET The best book yet in the series. Ghost was funny, sexy, yet super alpha. Bridget, once a Marine now school teacher, was just tough enough to be perfect for Ghost and the Black Dogs family. There was drama and action and of course great sexy times. Well written and I didn't put the book down until I was at the happy ever after ending. I didn't review the other 2 books because I already had them individually. This is the first time I've read anything by the author and I really enjoyed this story. It's the 3rd book in the series, but I have not read the previous 2. The heroes from those books are in this, but their heroines are pretty much absent (maybe at the very end in passing at a bbq). I didn't have any problem following along and never felt like I was missing backstories. My impression of the book is how laid back and easy going it was. I didn't have any problem following along and never felt like I was missing backstories. My impression of the book is how laid back and easy going it was. I will say I read reviews from the previous 2 books and one thing stood out for me from the comments - the book isn't a very gritty, traditional MC. I think knowing that going in helped me to be prepared how G-rated/lite/diet version of an MC it is. I do wish it had more of an edge to it and less cheesy moments as they were still doing illegal things and elements of that would have enhanced the characters and storyline. Since I knew that was the feel going in, I just let went along with it and enjoyed the story. I really liked Ghost and Bridget. They were great characters who really complimented each other. At first I wasn't sure how to take Ghost (and since I wasn't introduced to him in previous books), but by the end I loved him. The author has a very clever and witty writing style. Although I enjoyed the book, I had to overlook the finer details of the plot that finally added up and began to distract me. In no way was it written poorly (grammar, mechanics, etc.), it was more about the little details of the plot. (view spoiler)[I hated Jase and since he's a previous hero, I'm sure I wasn't supposed to dislike him so much. He treated Ghost so dismissively and then left him hanging. I couldn't put down my kindle when I started thinking they were all going to discredit Ghost and he was going to walk out. Sadly for drama's sake, this didn't happen, but it kept me on the edge of my seat thinking it would. Although the end is proved by it, I couldn't stop thinking about the police report and evidence of tread-marks or rubber from the brakes. I know they paid off the cops, but... easy peasy solution! The tribunal was so formal I also didn't understand why they hadn't drug tested Lucero or inspect the van for mechanical issues. Given the way they were very judicial about it, I don't think that would have been too far off and insulting to the MCs. Lucero. Up until the last scene with him I think it was unreasonable for him to not be punished harsher for outright lying and endangering others. He should have been kicked out and I wasn't impressed he showed up at the hospital. Also, I'm unsure how this troubled MC will survive given they were already financially in trouble. Last one - why would the husband bring the wife and kid down to the school to discuss a tuition issue? Surely he goes to work and has to leave them alone and his son has to go to school and is on his own anyway. That was convenient for the plot but between that and the Headmistress going so far out of the lines, I couldn't help the real world seep into my reading and scratching my head. As much as I was shocked by the headmistress, I did enjoy the girl power camaraderie. And Ghost's interactions with them. (hide spoiler)] All that to say, I truly did enjoy the book, and once I let some of the nit-picky (for me) details slide, I thought it was a great way to spend my afternoon. I would definitely recommend this book, and obviously recommend it to anyone who has already enjoyed the series or wants a little more G-rated MC. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

That was the day that Ghost haven't stop thinking about her, after few days had pass Bridget was home doing her normal things when her pone ring, when she pick it up she was in shock to here what was going on at the end of the line, she knew one of her student was in danger, while the kids where outside playing Ghost was looking for way to get in touch with Bridget, that's when the little boy told him that he shouldn't be here, but what Bridget and Ghost where not expecting was that, that little boy will bring them together. The sparks that fly between them at the first initial meeting was awesome and Ghost immediately falls for Bridget and he wants to get to know her Bridget is hesitant to get involved with a MC guy but something about him draws him to her. There are two different storylines going on at the same time within this book. One is a young boy that Bridget is teaching that is being abused at home and she is desperately trying to get him help but is running into a brick wall with getting him that help he and his mom need and then Ghost , with his MC group, there was a horrible accident that happened with a fellow MC friend of Black Dogs MC- they were going up to a neighboring MC group who needed help because his boss , Jase, asked it or more like told them to go and an terrible accident was caused. Now Ghost is being left to hang after the person from the other MC group in the other MC gang caused the accident and no one is really jumping to stand by Ghost. Will Ghost be kicked out of the Black Dogs MC for life ? What will happen with Bridget and Ghost? There are twists and turns to this story which tie both stories together but you have to read to figure out the twist. I loved the main characters for their past shaped who they are today. They are shaped by the pain that happened to them in the past and yet that makes them into the great people they are today. Bridget is independent yet fiery , Ghost is alpha yet he has a funny side to him. They are great together. I recommend this book highly. The only thing I would have liked to seen is some repercussions to the leader of the Black Dogs MC for not being there for Ghost. He was wishy washy. You’ll know what I mean when you read it in the book. My Rating: 4.8 stars ***** ***A gifted copy was provided by HIDDEN GEMS for my honest review***

Bridget Dawson is a Marine turned elementary school teacher at a private school. For the most part, her life is orderly and she doesn’t have a social life outside of her grandfather. From her first run in with Ghost, Bridget is seeking more. She likes how he makes her laugh but more importantly how he makes her feel. Ghost doesn’t have the same hang ups regarding her military service like others in her past. Ghost makes Bridget feel tingly and womanly. I’m just going to say it out-the-box, I LOVE Ghost. He’s my new book boyfriend. Ghost is everything you want in an alpha male hero-smart, loving, strong, sexy and capable of protecting what’s his. I loved that Ghost wasn’t intimidated by Bridget’s military training and that when they faced certain danger, he was willing to let her take the lead. Ghost’s easy going personality helped Bridget with her insecurities. Vindication is the first book I’ve read by Sienna Valentine, but it will definitely not be the last. I’m looking forward to going back to read Jase and Will’s stories.

When Bridget walks in on Ghost going through her grandfather's things (even though we knew why he was in there), it was sparring from the start and the process that these two very strong willed (and highly sexual) individuals go through to find their minds (and hearts) matched up...well it was an amazing and well written love story. He believes she is his soulmate and she is not about to let a man run her life or take advantage of anyone and their story is another example of a plot device used before but done so well that it was a joy to read (when I didn't want to knock some sense into them). This book dealt with some heavy emotional issues from retired and disabled people who deserve more kindness and respect than they get to children who are forced to grow up too fast in unhealthy environments. Another good biker read with a lot of heart and life lessons. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. ***** 5 ***** "safe in the arms of danger" stars

Ghost is one hot hero and I don’t just mean his physique. He’s got it all going on…sex appeal, humor, respect, great with not only the ladies, but kids too, and so much more. He’s got a working mind, not just a hot body and keeps Bridget on her toes and in continual lust. The sex was erotic and I clearly didn’t get enough, but Ms. Valentine knows how to take on those sex scenes. Ooh la la, high steam factor in effect! I loved Vindication, as much as I love each and every Sienna Valentine book. I’ve already got a constant buzz going on while waiting for more! 5 Stars!

Sienna Valentine does it again! Her writing weaves, twists, spins, and pulls you once again to this MC family. Ghost has seen stuff, before joining the MC and since. His coping mechanisms include a rapier wit and mellow out-look on most of life. When she stumbles upon Ghost while visiting her grandfather, she enjoys their verbal sparring... and, of course, his awesomely hot body (the view!). Their relationship has a lot of potential, all Ghost has to do is track Bridget down and convince her of that! One of my favorite exchanges: “You can call me Bridget,” she said with a raised eyebrow. “Like every other normal person does.” Ghost put his hands down and took a step closer to her. There was something else in his smile now. “But what if I want to be a special person?” “Call your mama, then,” said Bridget as she put up a hand. “I’m sure she’ll tell you you’re special.” I received an ARC for an honest review.

Given copy for review This is my first book by Sienna Valentine and I am so sorry it took me this long to find my way to her books. It was a riot to read. From the very first time Ghost meets Bridget he is a goner. He is determined to make her his the fact that she is tough as nail former Marine makes him harder. Bridget is the total package she is sexy and not afraid to take a stand. She has not had good luck with men before because they are basically intimidated by her. Ghost however is not. He makes her laugh even when she tries not too. He supports her and has her back even though they haven't know each other that long. The humor and witty dialogue in this book hooked me from the start. I will definitely be checking out her other work.

Ghost is not really taken seriously by his brothers and realizes that he needs to correct that. Bridget enlists Ghost's help in trying to get help for her student and Ghost jumps in with both feet. It was a nice dynamic and they had a good, playful banter about them. Ghost also enlists help from his brothers in bringing down the abusive father/husband and making their point well known. It was a quick read and easily read in one night.

This is a great MC story filled with action, suspense and great characters that I fell in love with. Ghost just drew me in right away and I couldn't help but immediately love his character. Bridget took a little longer for me to warm up to, but the two together just seem to work somehow. I love the twists thrown in that kept me guessing and I definitely didn't have any problems staying interested in this book at all. This is not the first book in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. This is a great MC story filled with action, suspense and great characters that I fell in love with. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. HOTTTT MC as usual! I thought for sure that Bridget and Ghost were going to kill each other. They are the perfect match for each other's crazy life. Bridget tough ex military girl and Ghost a Black Dogs member. Sounds like a match made in heaven, more like in hell for how hot it was. These two are like oil and water. But when they do get together, it's quite the read. I spent a majority of this book imagining Ghost as Deadpool and a bearded bald Ryan Reynolds for the sex scenes. Because imagining a superhero banging a nurse in a closet is a bit weird. I swear my brain can't function right now. I just couldn't stop laughing. I mean in a good way. I'm not a huge MC fan but I get why the run was added to the story since basically it was the subplot. I get so sick of reading romance novels where it's always a problem with the relationship. Uuggg rant over... They were being bitches to Ghost trying to make him tone down his jokes. It's as if they would prefer him to drink or fuck away his life instead of making the best of things. He said it best he maybe a joker but he is never a liar. So on that note fuck them... but I still enjoyed the book.

I love the chemistry between Ghost and Bridget! Their first meeting is hilariously awesome and I totally agree with Ghost's opinion about veterans and their needs...(don't want to spoil it for you). He wears her down and she takes a chance on life with a charming bad boy biker. There is a dark, sad plot line threaded through the story involving child and spousal abuse, for those with trigger issues, it is handled tastefully and does not involve any member of the MC. The outcome is a little on the incredulous scale because powerful, rich abusers don't back down or stop easily. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't get the "brotherhood" feeling from Ghost's interactions with his club, locally or other chapters. It left me feeling like Ghost could have walked away without much loss. Otherwise, it was a good story.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Ghost McBride is a member of the Black Dogs MC, who always has a joke handy. I received this ARC for an honest review!  This is my first book by this author and the characters in this book is written well and the chemistry between Ghost and Bridget was unusual and unpredictable. I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I've read by Sienna Valentine but it won't be the last. I loved this book. Ghost McBride is the most lovable (and dangerous) biker ever! Bridget is a strong woman. The two of them together are fantastic! Most MC books I've read are heavy on the 'club business.'
