REVIEWS ANTERIORES: Volumen 1 | Volumen 2 | Volumen 3 | Volumen 4 | Volumen 5 | Volumen 6 | Volumen 7

I am very mad, but only because I genuinely, for three years believed that this is the last manga and know I have to wait for God knows how long for the actual last one. It was amazing tho

What about Kitamura? Does he even like anyone now? Yessss, some of Takasu's feelings are being awakened! But still, he really likes Kushieda...or I think he does... What about Kitamura?

A dynamic fight scene and some serious fallout later and Kitamura’s arc comes to a close. That’s not to say things aren’t still going wrong - as Ryuuji’s classmates want to set Taiga up with Kitamura finally, but one of Ami’s friends is interested in him. This leads to an overdue scene where said friend accidentally puts it to Ryuuji that he’s actually in love with Taiga rather than Minorin. Then Christmas happens and with Christmas Eve date night approaching, it’s telling that rather than working the courage up to talk to Minorin, his first instinct is to spend the night with Taiga hanging out. However, a huge class event gets scheduled and we shift gears for drama with Minorin this time. I will say that it’s a little jarring how the drama tends to occur in character specific chunks. It’s not quite blending together as I would like; I tend to prefer my story arcs a little more organic than they feel here. Still, no major complaints and the fun and drama are mixed better throughout - the fake donuts are pretty funny and I love how Ami mocks Taiga for being so into Christmas because it prevents her from being so into Christmas to be more popular. Hopefully it doesn’t take another three years to finish this series up; it’s a real solid pick minus how long it’s going between volumes

Another fun entry in the series as Kitamura's friends get to the bottom of way he's bleached his hair and quit running for student body president, followed up by the school getting ready for Christmas. Takemiya's story is funny yet dramatic, as the twist and turns keep coming (Kitamura's breakdown is classic for a teenage boy) while Christmas brings out a new side in Taiga. It's matched perfectly by Zekkyo's art, which brings a nice balance of realistic and cartoony for this romantic dramedy. I love this series but I am wondering how long Ryuuji and Taiga can keep putting off confessing to Kitamura and Minori....
